This research was conducted in Odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year with treatment given 4 meetings. For one meeting, it took 2 x 40 minutes. The research method in this study using an experimental research. This type of research is True Experimental Design with pretest design -Posttest Control Group Design. The population in the study were all students of class VII SMP Parulian 2 field consisting of 4 classes. Sampling was done by random sampling by taking two classes, namely the class VII4 as an experimental class that numbered 30 people and VII2 class as the control class that numbered 30 people. The instrument used to determine student learning outcomes is the achievement test in the form of multiple choice numbered 30 and 20 items that have been declared valid for the experimental class and control class that has been tested on VII1 class in junior Parulian 2 Medan.The second class are given a pretest to determine the ability of the student before the beginning of the treatment given in each grade, with an average value of 38.83 experimental class and control class 35.83. then given a different treatment, the experimental class learning model SAVI, and grade control with conventional learning (direct). After learning is completed given postes, obtained postes with an average value of 76.83 experimental class and control class 66.87. Mulyono","doi":"10.33258/birle.v2i4.551","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33258/birle.v2i4.551","url":null,"abstract":"This study is aimed to determine: (1) whether the critical thinking skills of students taught with problem-based learning models are higher than the critical thinking skills of students taught with Direct Instruction learning models, (2) whether the critical thinking skills of students who have higher learning motivation are more higher than the critical thinking skills of students who have low learning motivation; and (3) the interaction between learning models and learning motivation on student's critical thinking skill. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 104217 Sidomulyo, consisting of 2 classes with totaling 62 people. The research method used were Quasi Experiment with 2x2 factorial research design and a significance level of 0.05. The instruments used were motivation questionnaire and critical thinking skills test. Data analysis used were analysis of variance and the Tuckey test. The results showed that: (1) student's critical thinking skills taught with problem-based learning models was higher than the critical thinking skills taught with direct instruction learning models in fifth grade of SD Negeri 104217 Sidomulyo. (2) Student's critical thinking skills who have high motivation was higher than student's critical thinking skills who have low learning motivation fifth grade of SD Negeri 104217 Sidomulyo. (3) There was an interaction between the problem and learning motivation based learning model on the critical thinking skills of students in fifth grade of SD Negeri 104217 Sidomulyo. This study is aimed to analyze the implementation of learning by using technology in early childhood education (PAUD) of Percut Sei Tuan sub-district and analyze the impact of the use of technology on early childhood cognitive in early childhood education of Percut Sei Tuan sub-district. This type of research uses descriptive research. The data analyzed are the results of observation, interviews and documentation. Samples taken in this study were obtained using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis stage is carried out namely data reduction, data classification, data presentation, and verification. The results showed that: Audiovisual technology in PAUD Percut Sei Tuan sub-district was still not fully used, from the overall indicators classified as in the sufficient category (36.3%) with a lack of the use of interactive CDs and projector screens. PAUD Percut Sei Tuan Sub-district uses audiovisual technology such as computers, in focus, laptops and speakers to display learning applications, games, videos, films, Ms. Word, and Power Point which help teachers in delivering learning material and control the class so that they become more orderly and calm. Audiovisual technology has an impact on early childhood cognitive in PAUD Percut Sei Tuan Sub-district. The reason for choosing this school student at Methodist Senior High School 12 Medan was because it had all the supporting aspects so that the research could run well. This study was conducted on July2019. The result is students who scored 65-74 were 2 with a percentage of 7%, at 55-64 there were 1 2 people with a percentage of 40 % and at 0-54 as many as 16 people with a percentage of 53%. In the posttest score increased better learning outcomes around 85-100 scores by 2 with a percentage of 7 %, 75-84 scores by 2 2 with a percentage of 73 %, a value of 65-74 by 6 with a percentage of 20 % . This research is a quasi experimental study. The population in this study were all grade VII students of MTs Lab. UINSU Medan Academic Year 2018/2019 which consists of three classes. Samples were selected by cluster random sampling of two classes. . The instrument used was a student learning motivation questionnaire and student learning outcomes test. Data obtained from the research instrument were then analyzed using two-way anova in the SPSS 14.0 for Windows program. Hand washing habit is an activity carried out in an action or behavior that trains children to have proper hand washing skills. This study aims to determine the improvement of life skills through the habit of washing hands. This type of research is action research. The subjects in this study were the children of Group A Al-Fidaa Kindergarten (TK), Tambun Selatan District, Bekasi Regency, Indonesia, totaling 10 children. This study consisted of 2 cycles, each cycle carried out as many as 8 meetings. The results showed that through the habit of washing hands can improve children's life skills. The result of the study Learning outcomes in the folklore text material of 10th Grade students of Vocational High School Harapan Mekar-1 Medan after using learning media based on blended learning are in the category of \"very good\" with an average value of 82.81 and the average value before using learning media based on blended learning of 67.65 which is in the \"good\" category.
