This study aims to (1) determine the effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts, (2) identify the learning style of students in understanding mathematical concepts, and (3) to determine whether there is a relationship between the model and learning style. This type of research is an experiment with a 2×3 research design. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. Two-way ANOVA is the hypothesis test used in the study. Before hypothesis testing, normalization test and homogeneity test were conducted. The results of this study based on the results of the Two Way ANOVA analysis test obtained a significant value of the Learning Model 0.551>0.05 so that H_OA is accepted, a significant value of Learning Style 0.172>0.05 then H_OB is accepted and the Significant Value between Learning Models and Learning Styles obtained is 0.204>0.05 then H_OAB is accepted. This shows that the contextual learning model affects students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The different style of learning is called students’ uniqueness and it is influenced cognitive style of students themselves. Cognitive style is clearly seen when students receive mathematical concept that requires good reasoning abilities. This study aims to determine how students process information and reasoning given based on cognitive styles in this case reflective and impulsive cognitive style. The subjects of this study were students of grade XI MAS Al-Jami'atul Washliyah Stabat. Through the stages of the MFFT (Matching Familiar Figure Test), two students were selected, each with a reflective and impulsive cognitive style. The two students were given mathematical reasoning tests questions on trigonometry concept and afterward conducted interviews to deepen the data. Data were analysed using triangulation, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The importance of interest as a motivation for prospective teacher students to become professional teachers is the basis for the need to increase students' interest in becoming teachers. This study aims to determine the effect of the teaching campus program on interest in becoming a teacher and to find out the factors that support and or inhibit interest in becoming a teacher in Untirta Mathematics Education students participating in the teaching campus program. This research is a type of mixed method research using explanatory sequential design. The subjects in this study were Untirta Mathematics Education students participating in the teaching campus program from 1st to 4th year. The results showed that there was a positive influence of the experience of the campus teaching program on the interest in becoming a teacher in Untirta Mathematics Education students as indicated by a positive regression coefficient of 0.561. This means that every time there is an addition of one unit of the teaching campus program experience variable, the value of the interest in becoming a teacher variable increases by 0.561. This interest is supported by the factors of teaching campus program experience, feelings in teaching, attention to the quality of education, ideals, and family environment. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The research sample was selected using the cluster random sampling method and a sample of 22 students was obtained. The tools used in this study were tests and interviews. Descriptive analysis of research data, students' KBKM in completing questions on flat material, with an average score of 50 which is the same as the value in the quite creative category, 4 students in the criteria of very creative, creative and creative enough, 9 students in the criteria not less creative and 1 student on uncreative criteria. From the results of data analysis it can also be seen that the main problem of the students' KBKM in solving the first flat matter problem lies in the elaboration indicator, which from the results of data analysis and interviews it can be seen that in solving the questions students have difficulty in giving correct and detailed answers. students were not careful in working on the questions and some students were able to understand questions related to elaboration indicators. Furthermore, the second biggest problem lies in the authenticity indicator. The subject of this research is bead crafts and the object of this research is the geometry transformation’s that found in the motifs of bead crafts’s made. The data obtained in this research came from derived from direct observation of interview results, the results of interview, and the results of documentation. The purpose of making this media is to overcome the limitations of the senses in the complicated process of proving the volume of the cone. In addition, the purpose of making this apeme cupang media is to attract students' attention in learning the volume of tubes and cones. Researchers used an R&D approach with the ADDIE model. The activity begins with first analyzing the needs, which shows that students still have difficulty in cone material about proving the cone formula, so a proof media is designed. The second stage begins to make designs and prepare the tools and materials needed. The third stage begins the development process that is adjusted to the design that has been made. In this stage, it explains the process of making apeme cupang media made from cardboard paper until the media is ready for use. After that, conduct a review to media experts and material experts to show the validity of the media. The results of the review obtained some input which was then revised. Once sufficient, the media can be tested on students. This trial stage uses an individual trial which in the end obtained input from students that shows the practicality of the media. The purpose of this study is to describe how to increase mathematical understanding of students skills to determine the Qibla direction by using the geogebra application. his research was conducted at the Sharia Faculty of Islamic Astronomy Department, IAIN Lhokseumawe. The sample of this study were all third semester students who were taking Geometry Astronomy courses. The data obtained through tests, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by means of descriptive and quantitative. The results showed that the increase in students' mathematical abilities reached 0.5 at the medium improvement criteria of N-Gain. The subject of the research were 21 students of ninth grade A class at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. The research method used was development research which is divided into two major stages, namely the preparation stage and the prototyping stage with Tessmer’s formative evaluation flow. The techniques of collecting data were used open questionnaire, interview, and test. The technique of analysis data was used descriptive qualitative. The final results of the study are 7 PISA-like mathematics problem in using Indonesia’s Islamic tourism context at the junior high school level that were valid based on the validator's assessment at the expert review stage. The questions had an attractiveness based on the results at the one-to-one and small group stages because it is known that students are challenged to solve problems correctly and can stimulate students thinking to use their mathematical abilities in any problems.
