The feature of such systems is an essential interconnection of processes having a different physical nature–mechanical, electrical and magnetic ones. To adequately reflect this relationship, the Lagrange-Maxwell equations are used, taking into account the laws governing the active magnetic bearings in them. A critical analysis of simplified methods for modeling rotor dynamics is given. For a correct consideration of electromagnetic processes, the method of analyzing electromagnetic circuits of active magnetic bearings (AMBs) is used, based on a consideration of substitution schemes. Magnetic resistances of magnetic circuits, grooves and air gaps are determined by schematizing the paths of magnetic fluxes. The power characteristics of passive magnetic bearings (PMBs) are determined on a basis of a series of magnetostatics analyzes. The refined analytical expressions for a magnetic energy of active magnetic bearings and the dependences of magnetic forces of passive magnetic bearings, found using the proposed approach, are used in the coupled Lagrange-Maxwell equations. A laboratory model is considered as an example of rotary systems with passive and active magnetic bearings, which is a prototype of a complete magnetic suspension of a rotor of an expander- compressor unit. Based on a comparison of the results of experimental studies and a numerical analysis of the rotor dynamics of this model, a substantiation and proof of a necessity of applying the proposed approaches are given.","PeriodicalId":340150,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 3rd International Conference on Intelligent Energy and Power Systems (IEPS)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132214841","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The implemented state support tools for renewable energy growth in Ukraine caused significant disparities in the various renewable energy technologies development, where the bio-energy sector, in particular electricity generation based on animal waste, takes the last position. Based on the analysis, it has been proved that the main barriers for biogas sector development are the need for significant initial investments to construct profitable biogas plants and a large amount of raw materials for their uninterrupted operation. In order to eliminate these barriers, it is proposed to combine the financial and raw material resources of small farms within energy co-operatives. The results of the research prove that the realization such biogas projects makes economic sense and can provide significant financial benefits for the farms’ owners.","PeriodicalId":340150,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE 3rd International Conference on Intelligent Energy and Power Systems (IEPS)","volume":"84 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127980435","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been shown that the optimal thickness of the “chloride treated” base layer in the thin film ITO/CdS/CdTe/Cu/Au solar cells (SC) equals 4 $mu$m. The decreasing of CdTe film thickness leads to the SC efficiency decreasing as a result of the shunting resistance reduction, saturation diode current density and series resistance increasing. The CdTe film thickness growth leads to the SC efficiency decreasing because of the shunting resistance reduction and series resistance increasing. Experimentally approved the possibility of the deposition by close box method of the high-quality from the point of view of their structure CdTe base layers at the substrate temperatures in the range 300 - 450°C. It has been shown that for thin film glass/ITO/CdS/CdTe/Cu/Au SC optimal cadmium sulfide thickness equals 0.4 $mu$m because of two competitive physical processes, namely, simultaneous variation of the diode saturation current density and the photocurrent density It has been experimentally demonstrated that the maximal efficiency of ITO/CdS/CdTe/Cu/Au SC corresponds to the 0,35 $mu$m CdCl 2 thickness at “chloride treatment”.
