The present study discuss the effects of three types priming conditions (Japanese words, Chinese words and meaningless Symbol) on the bilingual language learners during the perceiving and processing steps by using ERP (Event-Related Potentials). ERP components of N200 and N400 show difference by priming types. In conclusion, both repetition priming and cross-language priming have priming effects, in addition, the processing of Japanese vocabulary need Chinese vocabulary as the medium to achieve semantic representation. The results indicate that creating direct connections between Japanese words and the semantic presentations while learning will be more efficient for Chinese Japanese learners. In the first example we consider learning English for academic purposes in two teams that prepare reading and listening comprehension assignments focused on the same lexical topic for each other. The assignments are prepared with the use of such Internet resources as online dictionaries, thesauruses and YouTube videos. The groups exchange the assignments in class, do each other’s assignments and then get involved in the classroom discussion actively using and consolidating the academic vocabulary from the text and the video. The second example concerns the discipline \"Translation training with the use of information technologies”, in which student collaboration proves to be effective. Stages of fulfilling joint translation tasks and student-teacher activities are exemplified and briefly described. The third example of collaboration is an examination task in the elective discipline “Electronic resources of translator”. This task was initially fulfilled by students at their translation practice according to the algorithm used at one of the translation companies in St.Petersburg, with the use of Memsource system. This article aims to investigate the opportunities for expanding China’s exports to the EU offered by the Northern Sea Route. Comparison of the distances between the main sea ports connecting China and Europe via the Northern and Southern Sea Routes shows that the former may well prove to be a viable option if China uses the part of the route running along the Russian Arctic coast. One of the possible economic benefits of the Northern Sea Route is that, when navigable, it significantly saves transportation time and reduces shipping costs. In addition to China's already established trading partners in Europe, Finland, Norway and Ireland could provide new markets for Chinese goods since these countries have multiple ports, which can be easily accessed from the sea. RELEVANCE OF THE RESEARCH PROBLEM The Northern Sea Route (NSR) is a vital transport and logistics route in the north of Russia, capable of competing with the southern maritime shipping routes via Cape of Good Hope and the Suez Canal. The Southern Sea Route is overloaded, especially by big container ships sailing from Asia to Europe. Russia is one of the main beneficiaries of the NSR: for Russia, the gains in developing the route primarily include easier access to remote regions in the winter period to provide them with food, fuel and other necessities; defence of its territorial interests from the external threat of the USA; extraction and transportation of mineral resources such as oil, gas, coal, nickel ore and so on; protection of the marine ecosystem from oil spills and other man-made disasters. For China, one of the primary benefits of the NSR is that it allows fast and cheap transportation of goods to Asia and Europe. The Chinese government is aware of the NSR’s potential for the country's export growth and therefore, engages in active cooperation with its Russian colleagues within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. The Initiative encompasses over sixty countries and seeks to attract investment to establish an extensive transportation network, including overland and maritime routes for passenger and cargo traffic. The usage of the Southern Sea Route involves a lot of risk for China due to its geopolitical rivalry with the USA. Their relationship is further complicated by the dispute over America’s military bases in Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines near the Strait of Malacca, the waterway which is crucial to China's trade: over 80% of all Chinese exports and imports transit the Strait en route to Asian and European countries. {"title":"The Impact of Education on the Income of the Economically Active Population in the European Union","authors":"A. There is a direct connection between the conscious birth of children and the education of people. The higher the level of education, the higher the income of workers, the higher the labor productivity and speed of economic development, the higher the intensity of export. We found that over the past ten years, the population in the fears of the European Union has increased by an average of 3%. Along with the increase in the number and density of the population, the employment of people with higher education (level 5-8) is steadily increasing. It is important to say that in Europe as a whole, the trends we have identified characterize the steady demand of the labor market for raising the level of education of labor resources. Based on Eurostat data, we calculated that the average level of personnel costs in 2017 in the European Union was on average 37.4 thousand euros. The difference between the maximum level of personnel costs in the field of electricity, gas, steam, the highest value of which is noted in Austria and the minimum in the area of accommodation and catering services in Bulgaria is 30 times. For the same period of time, people receive a very differentiated income and have different motivation to work, as well as different opportunities to recover physical and mental costs. Despite the general growth trend in the share of educated economically active people in the countries of the European Union, about 9-10% of them are poor people. Our correlation-regression analysis showed that the more educated people, the higher the average level of their costs and the fewer people who can be classified as “poor”. Thus, education is the main factor in improving the competitiveness of any country and is the main wealth of the people. The dissertations performed in the years 2002 – 2017 in Russia are considered. A thematic classification of dissertations was carried out taking into account the current passports of the specialty of scientific workers. These include problems of vocational education in universities, history of education and ethnic pedagogy, as well as comparative pedagogy.
