{"title":"Prediction model of basketball players' playing time based on neural network","authors":"Kai Wang, Chaoling Qin","doi":"10.54691/4fwh1s88","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54691/4fwh1s88","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of this study is to predict the playing time of CBA league players through neural network model, and to explore the key factors affecting the playing time from the perspective of quantitative analysis, so as to provide data support for coaches to make decisions on arranging players to play. This paper selects 7340 items of average data of 367 players in CBA league in the regular season of 2021-2022 as the research object. In model training, other data indexes except playing time are used as input parameters, playing time is used as output variable, and automatic encoder is added to screen key data indexes, thus establishing playing time prediction model. The results show that five models and a total data model are established according to the players' positions on the field (point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward and center), and the highest value of the average error (MER) is 1.56 and the lowest value is 1.42. R2 is 0.785 at the highest and 0.726 at the lowest. The results show that the data indexes that affect playing time are position-specific, and the models established for different positions have high prediction ability for players' playing time. Red Tourism Translation (RTT) is a channel for China to introduce its red culture and provide foreigners with an understanding of Chinaʼs revolutionary history and traditions. Based on the fundamental principles of Reception Aesthetics such as horizon of expectation, aesthetic distance, semantic uncertainty and cultural gaps, this study analyzes cases and examines the cultural misunderstandings and mistranslations in English translation of the red tourism text in Mao Zedong Memorial Museum in Shaoshan, proposes a reader-centered model in RTT and argues that in RTT, the target readers should be comprehensively catered to at linguistic, cognitive, cultural and aesthetic levels. Starting with the Renaissance, characterized by its emphasis on realism and humanistic themes, we examine the mastery of light and perspective that painters such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo brought to the canvas. As we move into the Baroque period, the focus shifts to emotional depth and dramatic intensity, exemplified by artists like Caravaggio and Rembrandt. The subsequent Neoclassical and Romantic movements reveal a divergence in styles—precision and restraint versus emotional exuberance and individualism. Transitioning into the 19th century, Impressionism marks a revolutionary departure from traditional forms, focusing instead on light and color to capture fleeting moments, leading to further explorations in Post-Impressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism. Each of these styles contributed to the pluralistic landscape of modern art, which breaks from conventional techniques and embraces abstraction. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of these transitions, offering insights into the broader cultural and philosophical shifts that influenced these artistic developments. In addition, with the popularization and application of information technology, students have more diversified channels to obtain information, which puts higher demands on the teaching quality and effectiveness of ideological and political courses. This article focuses on the characteristics of immersive media technology, as well as the advantages, problems, and solutions of using immersive media technology to improve the teaching effectiveness of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities. Firstly, it introduces the development status and characteristics of immersive media technology. Secondly, it analyzes the outstanding advantages of immersive media technology in teaching from the following aspects: virtual reality and augmented reality; sensory stimulation and emotional experience; as well as human-computer interaction and self-harmony. Thirdly, it proposes ways to improve teaching effectiveness based on immersive media technology from three aspects: theoretical research, historical research, and practical research of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities. The second is the comparative analysis of players' ability. The third is the analysis between the higher-order data PER value and the players' average basic data. Aiming at the functional deficiencies of the platform and the defects of the CBA league's data statistics and analysis, this study puts forward two feasibility suggestions: first, the CBA league should fully learn from the NBA league's statistics and management methods of the data, and further improve the statistics of the game data.
