It deals, particularly, with a wide body of expert discussion reports and studies laying the base for adopted political documents and legislative acts, summarizing resolutions and proposals, which we had to consider. Retrospective and analytical review presented in the paper allows not only to recognize and appreciate the long-term way anticipating the development of the final draft of the UNESCO Convention, but also to examine most of conceptions, terms and principles applied in 2003 Convention which are further improving under challenges of time and international community. Analyzing the genesis of criteria and principles, that is, the essence of today concept on safeguarding of the intangible cultural heritage underlying the 2003 Convention, the author stresses upon such important its integral parts as comprehensive and interdisciplinary studies, broad field for dialogue directed at reaching consensus, definition of the role of communities and individual bearers of the intangible cultural heritage.

The author uses as a methodological basis of this study the principles and methods of the cultural approach to the analysis of numerous publications, practical experience and norms of national legislation on the protection of cultural heritage.\u0000Results. Circumstances that significantly complicate the protection of immovable monuments in the conditions of martial law include the lack of direct legislative regulation of monument protection activities in this period, the practical possibility of predicting the degree of risk for them within different regions of our country, sufficient funding for the protection of monuments depending on their type and actual location.\u0000Novelty. It was determined that despite the state of war, the activities of the state registration of immovable objects of cultural heritage under the category of national or local importance continue. According to the first one it is perceived as a result of cultural production, which depends on the characteristics of cultural work and communication between the producer and the audience, ie the peculiarities of the consumption of cultural products. According to the second approach it is a tool for cultural dialogue and cultural diplomacy. Thus, the logic of presenting the theses is intended to analyze three main aspects: cultural work (its specific features, the level of understanding and perception), cultural consumption (dialogue of the artist with the audience, ethics of art production), features of the ecosystem of cultural production of Ukraine. The necessity to legitimize the cultural economics (an inherent component of cultural space) as a subject of research focuses on three main tasks: first, to create an appropriate ecosystem for cultural development (from training to clear financial terms, the status of cultural production in society and economy); secondly, to reproduce the laws of social relations in cultural production (from working conditions and the status of artists to dialogue with the audience or the consumption of cultural products) and thirdly, to implement the strategies for the development of culture and cultural industries. This justifies the relevance of the given topic for research, aimed to analyze the importance of the economic component of cultural production for the concept of cultural dialogue.

Drawing on a comparative approach, the author identifies three main areas of development of the concept of transculturality in contemporary scientific discourse. The third area of research is purely practical, helping to solve the problems of transcultural communications in the field of business.\u0000Originality. In opposite to the ritualistic approach, it has been stressed upon the incoherence of myth with practical activity as the construction of an imaginary virtual world where the motivation of events is represented as the consequence of intentions. It gives rise to the development of negation and entails the priority of antitheses and dualistic worldview inherited in the baroque casuistic devices of confutation. Syncretic polysemy is then reconceived as the indefiniteness, whereas the metonymic prevalence in mythological text entails its complementary construction.\u0000The principles of indefiniteness and complementarity are inherited in heuristics as the solution of search tasks under the circumstances of the lack of data. The mythological concept of absurd gives rise to preponderant experimental errors. The mythological opposition of visible and invisible worlds correlates with the concept of the latent information of the second plane in theatre as well as the codification in myth with that of situations and characters in theatre. The metonymic row of myth is reconsidered as the gradual disclosure of circumstances on stage. The priority in the heuristic approach belongs to the exploration of characters’ faculties and intentions for the construction of a dramatic subjective perspective with the searches for the prototypes of dramatis persona.

Dick. Religious, theological and fantastic contexts of the novel are analyzed here. The author also presents some cultural aspects of the novel. Set in late 1960s and 1970s, it is one of the novels in his Valis triptych where the search for God and His hidden essence is fulfilled through traditional theological and philosophical texts of Judeo-Christian culture and gnosis. Its main protagonist, bishop Timothy Archer, is on a quest for uniting man with the infinite divine, coping with the juxtaposition of the official interpretation of religious texts and the newly discovered fragments of Zadokite texts. Studying these texts, Archer gains knowledge of the anokhi fungus, abandons the idea of contacting with God, and focuses on the practice of hallucinogenic communion that gives him the knowledge leading to the most suitable way to avoid the final experience of death. Tracing the shift in the main protagonist’s worldview, the author shows us the dilemmas that a homo religiosus faces in his search of the divine caused by mistranslated texts. This article thus deals with the opposing phenomena of spiritual passivity and practical attitude towards the world, the religious ecstasy the protagonist seeks and the experience of narcotic trance he turns to in the end, and the manipulation of terms ‘body of Christ’ and the Fungus. Still, further research into the ecstatic experience and its role in culture is needed.

To answer their research questions, the authors analyze competencies for stage actors at the bachelor’s and master’s levels defined by three different Ukrainian institutions of higher education. The authors acknowledge the many benefits of the competency-based approach to education, including improved transparency and comparability of degrees, and increased student and teacher mobility, but also suggest it has its pitfalls. For actors training, the competency-based approach creates a problem of defining core competencies reflective of the specifics of actors training focused on memory, voice, movement, and speech, as well as differentiating between competencies at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The authors find little difference between bachelor and master level competencies in the programs they analyze and ask if actors not pursuing a teaching career should be required to obtain a master’s degree to attain “complete higher education.” The authors bring up an important issue of preserving unique national actor schools formed by renowned stage masters as the core element of actor’s education. They also suggest festivals of actor schools as a way of learning approaches to actors training.

Also, it deals with social and political uses and abuses of Vyshnia’s enormous popularity and of the symbolic capital of his public persona as ‘the people’s satirist’.\u0000The article argues that, apart from the mentioned one, there has been a variety of public personae of the popular satirist.
