Identifying the buying patterns and generating more relevant recommendations to users is the prime goal of online shopping portals. However, extracting associations between products from millions of transactions is a big challenge. Association rule mining techniques are commonly used to discover the associations among transactional databases. To further enhance the elicitation of important strong rules between items, this work applies metaheuristic algorithms such as Genetic Algorithm, Particle Swarm Optimization and Firefly algorithm on Apriori algorithm. The performance of proposed approach is evaluated in terms of number of rules generated and the time complexity of the algorithm. A fixed-point optimized hardware Intellectual Property (IP) of the OMP algorithm is designed using a high-level synthesis (HLS) tool. The execution time of the optimized fixed-point hardware IP for different sparsity is compared with the equivalent fixed-point and floating-point realization on the Zynq-7000 Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). Intel senor data is used for verifying the functionality of the SoC design. The experiment is carried out for signal length (N), compressed signal length (M) as 256 and 84 respectively with different sparsity factor (K) as 5, 10 and 15. Our goal is to provide better quality tomatoes to meet the market standards and for that we need fresh and ripe tomatoes instead of unripe tomatoes. In India, sorting of tomatoes is done by humans which is prone to human error. We need to minimize the error and for that a low cost Tomato Sorting Machine is proposed which differentiates between ripe and unripe tomatoes on the basis of their colour. To differentiate between ripe and unripe tomatoes two TCS3200 RGB Colour Sensors are used in the proposed system. The tomatoes are passed in a straight line on the incline to the characterization point. The distinguishing proof of the colour of tomatoes passed on should be possible by checking the recurrence investigation of the yield of the colour sensor. The arranging of tomatoes as ripe and unripe depends on the colour force caught by TCS3200 colour sensor. The general framework precision was 93.33%. The device structure used is ITO/TiO2/CdTe or PbSe/Electrodes, where TiO2 forms a heterojunction with CdTe or PbSe. The device is analyzed with different electrodes with different work functions such as Au (5.47 eV), Ni (5.22 eV), Pt (5.64 eV), and Ti (4.33 eV). Under the normalized illumination intensity devices are analyzed and the generation rate is obtained for resonating behavior of the device over the active region (CdTe or PbSe).The effect of electrode variation is mostly dominated over the CdTe based device with a normalized generation rate varying from 0.98 to 0.80 over the same wavelength. Many IoT hardware platforms are available for IoT implementations. ESP8266 chip is one of them. This paper implements the real time weather prediction system that can be used in number of applications like homes, industries, agriculture, stadiums etc. for predicting the weather information. The system utilizes a temperature and humidity sensor i.e. DHT11 and a light intensity sensor i.e. LDR. The sensed data from the sensors are uploaded to a ThingSpeak cloud server using NodeMCU and ESP8266-01 module. The data is also displayed on a customized HTML webpage for monitoring the real time values. A logistic regression model is used for setting up the machine learning environment. This model is trained using the pre- recorded values of sensor data. Further, NodeMCU records the data from sensors i.e. temperature, humidity and light intensity and then the values are transferred to the Jupyter notebook that utilizes a python environment. Niti Aayog has cautioned that Delhi could run out of ground water by 2020. This is a critical situation and can happen with other parts of India too. Conservation of water is the need of hour. Due to vast globalization, urbanization and modernization the quality of our surrounding is degrading which in turn is affecting the natural phenomenon of raining too. The gases such as Sulphur Dioxide and Nitrogen Dioxide released due to burning of fossil fuels gets transported by air and wind currents. They mix with water and other material to form sulphuric acid and nitric acid causing acid rain. The problem in harvesting arise here as this water is not suitable for use. Storing this water in the same reservoir with slightly better quality of water can lead to degradation of that water also. Out of 1200 millions of gallons per day (MGD) demand of water, 200 MGD requirement of Delhi is met by illegal boring of water. Under a regulation of 2012, it has been made mandatory for all establishment above 100 sq. m to have rain water harvesting system (RWHS). Small size houses already constructed also need to be addressed. A major issue is not only harvesting of water but also the quality of harvested water. Moreover, it uses only single DVCCTA as active element and four grounded passive elements (two capacitors and two resistors). The proposed unit cell consists of two resonators designed on top of FR4 glass epoxy dielectric substrate completely laminated by copper on the bottom side. The absorber has been designed and developed in such a way that four different absorption peaks occurs in X- and Ku-band having absorptivity of 96.18, 98.51, 96.54, and 98.22% at 8, 10.5, 14.4, and 16.6 GHz under normal incidence, respectively. The main advantage of this structure is its high absorption bandwidth. The full width at half maximum (FWHM) bandwidth is 330 MHz (7.86-8.19 GHz), 450 MHz (10.27-10.72 GHz), 460 MHz (14.20-14.66 GHz), and 780 MHz (16.23-17.01 GHz) at the four frequency bands. The presented absorber also shows compactness property with electrical dimensions of 0.26 λ0 × 0.26 λ0 and thickness of 0.026 λ0, which can be considered as ultrathin. λ0 is the corresponding free space wavelength with respect to the lowest absorption frequency i.e. 8 GHz. The proposed absorber structure exhibits polarization independent behavior due to its four-fold symmetrical unit cell.
