This research aims to find out: 1) if there is a relationship between socio-economic status of the elderly against self-esteem children ages 5-6 years; 2) how the relationship between socio-economic status of the elderly against self-esteem children aged 5-6 years. The design of this study using sequential explanatory design. Participants in the study are a group of B-3 X TK Puwakarta that add up to 24 children and the elderly. Data collection techniques using question form, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses two meteode research kuantitaif further qualitative analytical techniques descriptive statistics and correlation of analissi engineering product moment correlation test hypotheses of social economic status of the elderly against self-esteem. The main objective of the fourth year vocational program is to equip students and graduates with various competencies in order to develop graduates capabilities in finding jobs, assigning work, entrepreneurship, pursuing the work faced and renewing their work skills. This research was conducted through a literature review of references originating from the theories and results of relevant research, and continued through focus group discussions. Relevant references include the policies of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, guidance on the implementation of the fourth year vocational program, relevant research results, namely evaluations of four years vocational programs, and influencing factors in increase in competitiveness and work readiness graduates. The design of this study uses quasi-experimental forms of Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The experimental group from this study was given PBL treatment, while the control group was treated with the discussion method. The data of this study were analyzed by the Univariate Analysis of Variance technique. The results showed that (1) there was a significant effect between PBL models and discussion models on students 'problem solving abilities, (2) there was a significant effect between students with high and low achievement motivation on students' problem solving abilities, (3) there were interactions between PBL models, achievement motivation and student problem solving abilities. So that it can be concluded that students who learn with the PBL model have a better ability to solve problems than students who learn with a discussion model. Students with high achievement motivation have better problem solving skills than students with low achievement motivation. The problems in Indonesia are that lecturers have difficulty in adopting technology and indeed need improvement, and some lecturers are even weak in technological knowledge, development of knowledge, lecturer’s belief that the lecturer will never be able to change which will be complicated education on Indonesian campuses. The method used in this research is a quantitative method and is supported by a semi qualitative method using a Likert scale. Data collection was taken from 129 respondents who as lecturers spread throughout Indonesia from January 2018 to early May 2018; questionnaires were distributed using Google Form via email, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger. The result of this study is that there is a relationship between rationality and technological change in the learning process. The author found small changes from several lecturers in using technology, even though technology became one of the tools in learning. This study aim is to explain how to implement the 2013 curriculum to teach English and describe English teacher obstacle on the curriculum implementation. The research method is a library study. The research finding shows that the English teachers are not able to apply 2013 curriculum well in the class. They get confused to use it in teaching and learning process, they are not able to apply the scientific approach in teaching and learning process well too. It because the teacher has a lack of knowledge about the 2013 curriculum itself and the scientific approach is a new approach in teaching and learning English. So, the implementation of the 2013 curriculum is not maximum especially in applying the scientific approach to the class. In analyzing the data, the writer uses content analyzes technique.
