The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive data analysis and requirement questionnaire analysis. The subjects of this research were 192 of 10th grade senior high school students. The results of this research showed the development of social and emotional learning (SEL) competency was needed for 10th grade senior high school (SMA) students. Social and emotional learning (SEL) competency was reflected in self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making. To achieve the objectives eight research questions were asked from respondents and the focus of the questions was existing perception, awareness and obstacles in path of education among tribal parents. Sample comprised of 200 tribal parents. The findings of the study disclosed that generally, tribal parents had soft corner for their daughter’s education. They are aware of significance of daughter’s education, but in some cases the education of girls were affected by migration and negligence of girls from co-education. The important thing in all scenarios is that people in tribal area of Anantnag district want to educate their daughters. {"title":"Effect of Character Education to Entrepreneurial Readiness For Vocational High School (VHS) Students","authors":"S. There is a lot of cheating in the National Examination, student fights, child abuse, drug abuse, corruption, and various other social riots. From a number of these problems can be asked the question \"what is the effect of character education on the entrepreneurial readiness of Vocational High School (SMK) students?\". To answer these questions, research needs to be held. This research was conducted through a literature review of references and relevant research results, and continued through focus group discussion (FGD). The research found: (1) there is an influence of character education on the level of entrepreneurial readiness of vocational students; (2) character education values that influence entrepreneurial readiness, are creative, independent, honest, cooperative, curiosity, disciplined, courageous to take risks, strong motivation for success, communicative, realistic, commitment, never give up, oriented to action, leadership, and innovation; (3)Vocational students must obtain character education in accordance with the character possessed by an entrepreneur. But the open unemployment rate in Indonesia in February 2018 was 6.87 million people and 8.92% of them were graduates of VHS. Why does that much unemployment happen? Is the learning process at VHS not yet qualified, so that the quality of VHS graduates is still low? Can the teaching factory improve the quality of VHS graduates? To answer this question, research needs to be done. This research was conducted using literature studies on related references, and a number of research reports on teaching factories conducted at VHS and continued with FGD. The results of the study concluded that the teaching factory consisted of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. Anak-anak saat ini cenderung lebih suka bermain dengan Gadgetnya dari pada bersosial dengan teman-temannya. Padahal, dalam tembang dolanan, anak diajarkan untuk banyak bergaul dengan teman-temannya, bereksplorasi dengan alam, beribadah, bersyukur, dan besikap santun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pendidikan karakter anak di kawasan Pasar Tradisional Papringan. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian Tindakan yang diaplikasikan pada kelompok anak Pasar Paringan Desa Ndadiprono Kecamatan Kedu Kabupaten temanggung. Responden adalah kumpulan anak pedagang dan pengunjung pasar Papringan. Hasil penelitian dengan tembang dolanan yang diaplikasikan pada kelompok anak Desa Ngadiprono ini adalah, 1) Intensitas bicara kasar anak berkurang, 2) Mengurangi bulying antar teman, 3) Tidak ada batasan gender untuk bermain, 4) Anak semakin kreatif dan produktif, 5) Anak lebih menghargai orang tua, 6) Anak mulai menggunakan bahasa kromo untuk bercakap-cakap dengan orang tua. The researcher will carry out observations and interviews with the principal of SDN 1 Cipaisan. The research subjects were the principal of SDN 1 Cipaisan. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observations. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo.Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas IVC pada mata kuliah menejeman sekolah. Pengambilan data menggunakan angket.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1.Model Group Investigation merupakan model pembelajaran dengan tahapan pembelajaran: Pengelompokan, Perencanaan, Penyelidikan, Pengorganisasian, Presentasi, dan Evaluasi . 2. Terdapat peningkatan atau penguatan regulasi diri mahasiswa VID Pendidikan Matematika UM Purworejo tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI). Hal ini terlihat dari ketercapaian masing-masing rerata aspek pada regulasi diri yaitu siklus 1 diperoleh rerata aspek metakognitif 67, aspek motivasi 67 dan aspek perilaku 64 dan siklus 2 rerata aspek metakognitif 73, aspek motivasi 76 dan aspek perilaku 74. Perumusan masalah penelitian adalah apakah melalui metode Tutorial Individual Silang dengan Indicator Card dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menggambar konstruksi bangunan gedung bagi siswa kelas XI Bangunan D SMK Negeri 1 Magelang Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Tujuan Penelitian.Tujuan penelitian adalah ingin mengetahui apakah melalui metode Tutorial Individual Silang dengan Indicator Card dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menggambar konstruksi bangunan gedung bagi siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan 2 siklus masing-masing 2 kali pertemuan. Sabyek penelitian 32 siswa. Terjadi peningkatan keterampilan 36,25% , peningkatan pemahaman 43,75% = 14 siswa, ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal yang tercapai 96,875 % melampaui indikator keberhasilan yaitu sebesar 88,89 %. Dalam menggunakan metode Tutorial Individual Silang dengan Indicator Card guru di tuntut untuk dapat menciptakan suasana yang menyenangkan dapat menggunakan waktu dengan lebih efisien. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 selama 3 bulan mulai dari bulan Agustus sampai dengan Oktober. Tempat penelitian di SMK Negeri I Magelang dengan alamat di Jl. Cawang No 2 (0293)362172Fax (0293) 368821 Magelang. Sebagai subyek penelitian ini adalah kelas X Mesin D SMK Negeri 1 Magelang Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 semester 1. Sumber data meliputi data kuantitatif berupa hasil tes kerajaan-kerajaan Islam di Indonesia dan data kualitatif berupa hasil observasi, dan dokumentasi pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik kuantitatif berupa tes dan teknik kualitatif berupa nontes. Teknik analisis yang digunakan: data kuantitatif menggunakan analisis deskriptif; data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan metode triangulasi. Prosedur penelitian terdiri atas dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus menggunakan empat tahapan tindakan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, daan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) teknik Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan rerata hasil belajar kerajaan-kerajaan Islam di Indonesia dari kategori kurang (44,38) menjadi kategori baik (80,16). Simpulan penelitian adalah penerapan teknik Mind Mapping dalam pembelajaran kerajaan-kerajaan Islam di Indonesia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sejarah.
