{"title":"A CIDADE ARQUIPÉLAGO: EXPANSÃO E MORFOLOGIA URBANA DE PARINTINS (AM)","authors":"Estevan Bartoli","doi":"10.21452/RDE.V2I46.6874","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21452/RDE.V2I46.6874","url":null,"abstract":"We would like to discuss the main impacts that several stages of the economic integration have been causing in the intra-urban transformation in city of Parintins (AM), starting with a brief timeline until  1970s, analyzing the consequences about formation of urban plane, relationship with the environment (river islands) and the consolidation of the homogeneous continuous areas originated from irregular occupation. The following decades, showed continuous migration flows, associated with the decline of the agricultural and extractive – the base of the local economy. We will describe the impacts of the irregular occupation and the recent land division linked to the quality of public space, expansive limits, and emergence of the periurbanspace, relationship with rivers and lakes, and changing in the landscapes generated by the new standard of houses. We conclude pointing the urbanism adapted to the demand of small number of space producers agents, concluding that there were changing of landscapes and the significant elements from others times or important references in the local identity. The question asked in the present study is whether these new labor habits contribute both to income generation and to the support of rural families, providing a broader economic and social perspective. In response to this problem, the aim is to estimate income differentials between agricultural and non-agricultural activities in the Brazilian Northeast. The data used come from the PNAD (2015) and the models used were Blinder-Oaxaca and RIF Regression. It can be seen that non-agricultural activities generate higher yields when compared to agricultural ones. Of all the variables used in the sample, schooling is the one that best explains the fact that nonagricultural activities earn higher incomes than agricultural ones, with the states of Alagoas, Ceara and Piaui contributing the most to income concentration in the Region. (2011), the Economic Complexity Index (ECI). To do this, the original method is adapted so that the traditional scope of international trade data is replaced by information related to formal employment, since to the municipal reality, such information demonstrates adhering more efficiently to the capture of the structure productive. Talking about Knowledge Transfer implies talking about Technology Transfer, as the literature suggests that technology is a form of knowledge. Although these activities are highly interactive, they have different goals. Knowledge has a broad view, is concerned with the \"why\", the cause and effect while technology is already something straightforward or concerned with how things are done, refers to tools. Based on the 7-S framework we will examine the key role of organizational factors that facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technology between enterprise / university. Marconato","doi":"10.36810/rde.v2i43.5244","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.36810/rde.v2i43.5244","url":null,"abstract":"The objective of this article was to analyze the economic viability of the expansion of the sanitary sewage system, carried out by the Sanitation Company of Parana (SANEPAR) in the municipality of Ipiranga. To do so, we selected the section that deals with the construction of a sewage treatment plant, two elevators and the expansion of 3,077 meters of sewage collection network, with budgeted investments of R$ 5.28 million, financed by Caixa Economica Federal (CEF) and the National Bank for Social Development (BNDES). The sources consulted were the Sanitation Company of Parana (SANEPAR), the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and the United Nations (UN). The criteria selected for the economic analysis were: the Net Present Value (NPV), the Internal Return of Rate (IRR), the Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR), the Return on Investment Added (ROIA) and the Pay-back Period. Ferrão-Gonzales, Eduardo Muniz Santana Bastos","doi":"10.36810/rde.v2i43.6017","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.36810/rde.v2i43.6017","url":null,"abstract":"The National Program for the Production and Use of Biodiesel (PNPB) was an interministerial program of the Federal Government created in 2004, with the purpose of implementing the biodiesel production chain in Brazil. The program focused on competitiveness, social inclusion and regional development, through the generation of employment and income. From this, the present article aims to carry out a technological prospection, aiming to identify the technological trends related to biodiesel production. The methodology of this research was used the search in the directory of patent bases of Questel Orbit and found a total of 606 patents deposited in the period between the years of 2004 and 2018. Compare the urban health network identified with the structure designed by the Master Plan of Regionalization of Health of Minas Gerais (PDR / MG) of 2011. The basic spatial units for the identification of micro-regional centers are the municipalities of Minas Gerais. The review period is the year 2012. Moraes","doi":"10.36810/rde.v2i43.6296","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.36810/rde.v2i43.6296","url":null,"abstract":"The following paper presents the conceptual basis of Political Ecology and how its transdisciplinarity establishes the eco-political perspective as a holistic analysis tool for social and environmental problems. Emphasis is placed on the socio-environmental situation of urbanization in Latin America, which portrays phenomena such as megalopolization, inequality and segregation; which are presented as products of the interaction of political, social, economic and environmental elements. It is also exposed on how segregation can be instrumentalized, by a sector of the population, to structure and expand the city irregularly. Likewise, it is observed that with the segregative process two types of city are created; one with all urban benefits and the other ignored by the state, but both interacting in the same urban space. Taking into account the rhetoric of political ecology, it is intended to briefly characterize the invisible city, which was structured outside the urban center and that resists precariousness through adaptive methods that are not always regular.
