Immersive technologies have been used significantly in medical education. In the medical field, real-life training is not always possible. The main reasons are cost and safety. Thus, alternatives in providing and achieving a better educational medical training platform are needed. There is a growing interest in using virtual reality (VR) for training and learning in the medical field. The use of virtual reality in educational training may facilitate a successful medical learning process without involving a real human. The technology allows learners to adapt different learning styles in ways that are not suited to traditional teaching. This study aims to investigate efforts and opportunities for using VR technologies for medical training purposes. This paper identifies and summarizes VR tools used for surgical training especially in laparoscopic surgery, arthroscopy and orthopedic surgery. The technological advancements have enabled the inception of ontologies within the e-learning systems that has created high level of interoperability within our educational system. This analysis has explained a detailed approach to building of substantial ontology which can be used across different e-learning platforms. The steps such as definition of objectives, the capture, coding and integration of ontology, the evaluation and eventual documentation of the ontologies are quite essential in this course of action [1]. Through the inception of the ontologies, one is able to not only able to improve on the search for learning resources but also at a position to personalize content and enhance feedback generation [2]. By employing unsupervised K-means, enhanced by both manual and automated feature extraction techniques, the incident response team can quickly and decisively extrapolate malicious web requests that concluded to the investigated exploitation. More precisely, we evaluated the benefits of different visualization enhancing methods that can improve feature selection and other dimensionality reduction techniques. Furthermore, early tests of the gross framework have shown that the necessary time for triage is diminished, more so if a hybrid multi-model is employed. Our case study revolved around the need for unsupervised classification of unknown web access logs. The solution consists in a front rocker-bogie suspension with four non actuated wheels coupled with a spring-loaded suspension mechanism, while having in the back steerable traction wheels mounted on a spring-loaded suspension type mechanism. Furthermore, the delicate modules of the rover, have an additional damping system in order to limit the unwanted vibrations to these modules. The sum of these systems, along with proper electric drivetrain and specific control strategies, can make the minirover able to confront difficult terrains, while limiting the unwanted movement of its upper part. In most cases the mixed suspensions endows the minirover with capabilities like of climbing steps, different obstacles, with heights up to the diameter of the front wheels and more in special conditions, while having all six wheels in contact with the surface. To measure brain activities using optical signals a fairly new and non-invasive brain imaging tool can be put to test know as Functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). Comparability low cost, safety, portability and wear ability are some of the main advantages of imaging of brain using this non-invasive modality. We propose in this paper to apply this relatively new non-invasive fNIRS technique to make an image of brain activities during four different mental tasks. These tasks include Mental Arithmetic (MA), Motor Imagery (i.e. Left-Hand and Right-Hand Motor Imagery) and Rest. fNIRS data used is an open access dataset which was collected by Continuous-wave imaging system (NIR Scout NIRx GmbH, Berlin, Germany) with the sampling frequency of 10 Hz. The research we have done in this paper Data synchronization is performed before the data is preprocessed. After the preprocessing and signal analysis of data our results shows hemodynamic behavior of multiple patterns during the tasks performed. These unique patterns of hemodynamic behavior can be used to differentiate and distinguish different task. We were able to compare, differentiate and distinguish the brain signal activities captured while performing 4 different tasks using 3 different classifiers i.e. Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Many of these features are provided to the citizens and economic agents through adequate e-services, which are developed using software platforms which are specific for Smart Cities. These platforms offer to programmers various ITC tools for designing, development, managing and providing applications and e-service for Smart Cities. Often such software deploying facilities are integrated within a middleware, together with the features provided by mobile and wireless communication networks. This paper presents basic architectures of software development platforms, Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), their usage in Smart city projects and, also, some of their limitations. First, it provides a brief overview of the theoretical elements related to superconducting devices and forces that occur. In the following sections numerical models are created in the Comsol Multiphysics software based on the finite element method. In order to compare the magnetic fields and mechanical stresses, similar dimensions are considered for the solenoid and torus. The numerical results obtained have an error of around 10 percent. The magnetic induction is with 7.3% higher in the toroidal coil, and the stress is 5.3% lower than in cylindrical coil. The numerical values are in a good agreement with the analytical values.
