A problem of using bearing assemblies in agriculture conditions is also shown. In the paper, the wear rate of the working surface was chosen as the most critical parameter of the run-out process for the bearing assemblies. Dedicated tests were carried out to define the statistically substantiated values of this parameter. Values of gap clearance for bearing assemblies of electric motors have been specified that make it possible to evaluate the total expected lifespan of bearing assemblies for particular types of electric motors. The engineering method for evaluating the total and remaining lifespan of bearing assemblies of electric motors operated in agricultural production conditions has been developed. Values of the standard radial bearing clearance for various spindle heights have been determined that were calculated based on the standard values of gap clearance tolerance for mounting seats, and an example of calculations has been described. Values of an expected radial bearing clearance and those of lifespan of bearings for electric motor under control have been obtained, in the process of its operation, that characterize its wear rate, at a particular moment.","PeriodicalId":324813,"journal":{"name":"2020 12th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115612110","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The parameters of the driving system which can be measured using the diagnostics tool are: the nominal and maximum torque / rotational speed of the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), ambient temperature, coolant and oil temperature, alternator’s loading, 12V battery’s voltage, fuel consumption, injection timing, vehicle’s speed and acceleration, as well as many other parameters. Based on a few of them, it can be easily determined the instantaneous power produced by the vehicle’s engine, which can be used, for example, for designing hybrid powertrains in a very simple manner, allowing to measure all the values directly via the On Board Diagnostics II (OBD-II) port of the vehicle, in any conditions, on any road, in a real environment, thus eliminating the need of utilizing expensive equipment, such as dynamometers, which can be used just stationary.","PeriodicalId":324813,"journal":{"name":"2020 12th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122305078","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In May 2009, the Council of Europe established 4 favorable pillars for the organizational development at European level, and implicitly for the development of Europe's capacity to enter the international competition. Thus, it was highlighted that it is essential for all citizens to acquire transversal skills, such as: digital skills, learning to learn strategies, the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, and cultural awareness. Numerous studies are identified that highlight statistical data on European and Romanian entrepreneurship, and which contextualize the importance of taking certain measures to develop entrepreneurial thinking and increase the number of entrepreneurs, which will lead to improving the economic level.Consequently, the implementation of entrepreneurship education programs is seen as a means of developing the entrepreneurial skills of the human resources. In carrying out these programs, the European Commission supports the promotion of entrepreneurship education at all levels of schooling, from primary education to university education. The present study analyses the perception of academics regarding the importance of professional development while expanding those teaching skills and competences which are considered necessary for the entrepreneurship education.","PeriodicalId":324813,"journal":{"name":"2020 12th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI)","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128667105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, there are over 200 million UAVs used in various applications and there it is a large effort to adopt national and international regulation for using them. There it is a real need for the development of a reliable system for UAVs identity verification that can be implemented and used at global level. To this moment the software-based methods such as MAC address, IDs memorized on devices are prone to a large number of cyber-security vulnerabilities and attacks. This paper presents an innovative hardware-based identification solution which could be adapted to UAVs in a non-intrusive manner. The proposed solution is based on physical unclonable functions (PUF), which are implemented by using memristors. The proposed solution is very low cost and high performance. By using memristors, it is possible to generate a very large number of unclonable IDs, using only a few electrical components. This solution could be incorporated in any UAVs systems without major modifications and not affecting their flight parameters.","PeriodicalId":324813,"journal":{"name":"2020 12th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130591379","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Blockchain is a very good alternative for traditional system architectures. Researchers in almost all domains tried to adapt this new technology in their area and develop new solutions. The blockchain community has grown significantly and the proposed solutions become more and more complex. Problems like fraud, data integrity and data manipulation, distributed authority, information privacy and security are solved through blockchain. The technology can be successfully combined with traditional centralized architectures creating in this way hybrid systems with high complexity and security. In this article we propose an implementation based on LeNet architecture for traffic sign recognition using CNN.We preferred the deep learning approach for this challenge as methods like shape based or color based share a common weakness in factors as light changes, scale change, rotation.The paper presents implementation of the network architecture based on LeNet5 using Keras and TensorFlow library, how we trained the CNN using the GTSRB dataset, and what results we obtained training and using the network for real time applications using only CPU power, with Intel i7 7700K.
