A review of existing technical solutions for environmental monitoring of water areas is made. The stages of development of a mockup of a mobile unmanned surface vehicle (USV) are considered. The USV system is divided into two parts: information and mechanical. Structural - functional schemes of the system have been developed and described. The software implementation of the USV system is described. As conferences of any type aim at networking and knowledge exchange, cancellation or postponement of such events harm a collaboration among possible conference participants. An online format of conferences is not a new sensation but due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions this becomes an emerging trend and must-have element in academia. Thus, in this paper best practices and success factors on online conferences development will be considered, based on which an agile framework of conference transformation will be proposed. The framework was further tested on two conferences organized by a German Higher Education Institution and a Chapter of the IEEE Society, and validated through surveys. Currently this framework is continuously used by the authors. Global trends shaping the environment of projects and programs are associated with global acceleration, digitalization, the development of blockchain, cloud and fog technologies, the active introduction of smart systems, the transition from \"rational economy\" to \"behavioral economy\". The convergence of these trends creates a new platform for the effective application of existing methodologies, knowledge systems, and competencies of project managers. The foundation of environmental change lies in changing paradigms to flexible models of Agile project life cycles, decision-making in conditions of uncertainty based on data mining from rational to irrational. The article investigates modern information models that change the systems of competencies of project managers, approximate models, and methods of decision making. The patterns of behavior of project managers in creating a project product and project management are studied. Such Master Schools focus on a specific topic which couldn’t be addressed sufficiently by one Master’s programme or one HEI – both in terms of capacity and in terms of competence. Joining forces in a Master School gives the HEIs the chance to build an attractive educational portfolio which comes along with a special learning experience – interdisciplinary, intercultural and international. This paper is based on the case study of a cross-border Master School which is experiencing the digital transformation. Digital tools and methods provide the chance to integrate the Master School even deeper and to open up the learning and teaching experience to more people. One – already ongoing - aspect is the digital transformation, support and augmentation of the existing international exchange concept. Nevertheless, a comprehensive digital transformation of the content, delivery and community has to go goes beyond this. It transforms the way competences are delivered and received. To support this, the Master School is put on the new base of a fully digital ecosystem – this contribution calls it a Digital Education Ecosystem (DEE). This includes a cross-border IT infrastructure, but also new didactic formats, new ways of content and knowledge production, and finally new virtual student journeys and new, individualized processes of competence development. The combined use of the ESA SNAP and GMTSAR programs makes it possible to process data faster with minimal cost for geophysicists to determine earthquake epicenter coordinates and zones. Coordinates of Earthquake epicenters were found according to displacement via its maximum value. Displacement of the Earth's crust was obtained by processing in the GMTSAR package. ESA SNAP software was exploited for visualization and determination of exact coordinates. Two earthquakes that occurred in 2020 were studied first time to determine the accuracy of finding epicenter coordinates with ascending and descending orbits. These earthquakes occurred in Western Xizang, China, and Doganyol, Turkey. The maximum deviation from the officially registered epicenter coordinates was 16.3 km for Doganyol and 3.2 km for the Western Xizang earthquake. Collecting analytical data on the current situation in research and academic potential enabled the formation of our view as to the need for changing the model of interaction between Kazakhstani universities and industry. This work reveals weak points and allows for focusing attention on developing communication between key actors, suggesting a new model, which would meet modern requirements. The goal of this article can be attained by a comprehensive analysis of existing data, synthesis of adequate knowledge on research interaction between universities and industrial sector; analysis of the need for collaboration, key barriers and interaction frameworks with the aim to provide suggestions which would facilitate cooperation and identify the most effective patterns of partnership. Further, the study also seeks to become aware of reasons so one can make certain sustainable collaborations between both aspects. Implications of the findings will be used to purpose at facilitating more university and industry partnerships in the future. Saudi Arabia announced educational quarantine as part of efforts to stop the epidemic. This study provides a case study in extracting educational data from, Majmaah university, College of Science in Al Zulfi, Department. Computer and Information Sciences (Saudi Arabia). The university relied on the online education system using the blackboard system to continue and complete the educational period (2019-2020), which affected the performance of students. This study used data mining methods to investigate the impact of online learning due to quarantine, by creating a predictive model using decision tree algorithms. While conducting experiments, each of linear SVM (support vector machine) classifier, Euclidean distance, and Cosine distance algorithms was utilized to compare/analyze face vectors (embeddings) extracted from those 3 deep learning models. This resulted in 9 overall combinations of face recognition techniques to be compared. To implement a fair comparison of these 9 combinations, first, training and test datasets were gathered; these datasets were made up of complete frontal and well-cropped (NxN sized) face images of 33 persons (mostly Asian), with at least 10 different face images for each person. Then, face images in the training dataset were introduced into deep learning models to extract face vectors from them. Next, these face vectors were stored in a local directory as a reference database (to be used with Euclidean and Cosine distance methods) and were used to train SVM classifier. Subsequently, these face vectors were utilized to classify (recognize) face images (vectors) from the test dataset.
