During COVID-19, MSMEs need to sustain good internal business factors and the government and external stakeholders' role in creating clear policies and guidelines. This study aims to identify and analyse the influence of internal and external environmental factors on Indonesian MSMEs' competitive advantage in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The conclusive design used for testing the hypotheses and analyse the relationship among variables. The descriptive quantitative research approach used, which are the phenomena and the problems clearly stated. In this research, Respondents are Indonesia Entrepreneurs ruin business in the seven largest contributors' sectors for Indonesian Gross Domestic Bruto. The data analysis techniques used are Klassen Typology, Location Quotient (LQ), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Shift Share. The results of the study concluded 1) Based on Klassen's Typology it can be seen that the development sectors in Kerinci Regency are relatively good. This condition can be seen from the increase in the Forward and Growing Sectors in 2017 which previously in 2014 amounted to 2 sectors, now there are 4 sectors. While the Potential sectors and the Relatively Underdeveloped sector the numbers from 2014 2018 still remain the same. 2) From 17 sectors forming the Kerinci Regency GRDP from 2014 2018, on average there were 9 sectors forming the Kerinci Regency GRDP that had a LQ value of> 1 or the Basis sector. While there are 8 sectors which are categorized as Non Base with LQ value <1. Now among the Covid-19 pandemic, learning media products that were developed can be a choice. This research and development use a modified Borg and Gall Research and Development model. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive percentage and independent sample t-test. The results of this research and development are android-based learning media on correspondence subjects called Learning Commercial Letters which have been declared to be very valid and suitable for use in correspondence learning by media experts, material experts, and 6 small group trial students and are proven to improve student learning outcomes significantly in large group trials. The results of this research reveals an improvement in students writing ability and syllogism of thinking. The output of this research is the short scientific paper. Based on the results it can be concluded that the research based learning model can improve the students writing ability, especially scientific paper. There is a significantly improvement in students’ writing ability, but there are still some students who achieved a medium level of ability in writing. It can be assumed that it is caused by the lack of students’ knowledge about writing a scientific paper, because students have not learn the research methodology subject. Based on this analysis, this research finds product, price, place, and promotion are the main factors to develop a marketing strategy based on customer’s perspective for Bengras Kopi.
