EDA can select optimal individuals through estimating probability distribution function of a population. The capture problem among multi software robots can be solved by EDA. The capture problem involves that some pursuers pursue several evaders through part of trajectory. The trajectory was produced by the evaders during their two-dimensional random mobility. The pursuers estimate the evaders' mobility functions and adjust their pursuit models to capture the evaders as fast as possible. The probabilistic evolutionary courses of multi-robot experiencing some competitions are analyzed in performances. The analysis shows that capture problem of multi-robot solved by EDA is better than other methods in several aspects.","PeriodicalId":315420,"journal":{"name":"2010 8th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129230790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They have strong consistence. Then substituting them into the optimal fusion signal filter weighted by scalars, a self-tuning information fusion Kalman filter for the ARMA signal is presented. Further, applying the dynamic error system analysis method, it is rigorously proved that the self-tuning fused Kalman signal filter converges to the optimal fused Kalman signal filter in a realization, so that it has asymptotic optimality. A simulation example shows its effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":315420,"journal":{"name":"2010 8th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130611922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The whole control structure includes two layers - the coordination layer and the control layer. Public cycle time, splits, inbound offset and outbound offset are calculated in the coordination layer. Public cycle time is adjusted by fuzzy rules according to the traffic flow saturation degree of the key intersection. Moreover, the fuzzy rules are implemented by artificial neural networks to improve control system's robusticity. Splits are calculated based on historical and real-time traffic information. Offsets are calculated by the real-time average speeds. The control layer determines phase composition and adjusts splits at the end of each cycle. The target of this control strategy is to maximize the possibility for vehicles in each direction along the arterial road to pass the local intersection without stop while the utility efficiency of the green signal time is at relatively high level. The actual application results show the proposed method can decrease the average travel time and average number of stops, and increase the average travel speed for vehicles on the arterial road effectively.","PeriodicalId":315420,"journal":{"name":"2010 8th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130666650","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The autonomous prediction model is constructed by Artifitial Neural Network (ANN). The phase space of one-dimensional time series of adaptive behavior is constructed based on phase space reconstruction theory. The values of embedding dimension and the largest Lyapunov exponent of the phase space can verify that the system is chaotic. The adaptive behavior prediction model is constructed by the embedding dimension and neural network theory. The simulation results show that the prediction model can forecast the adaptive behavior exactly in one step. The robot can forecast the adaptive behaviors autonomously based on the real-time information. This method provides a theoretical basis for the enhancement of the robot adaptive behavior forecast accuracy in nonlinear and non-structural environments.","PeriodicalId":315420,"journal":{"name":"2010 8th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123829507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With some assumptions satisfied, the nonlinear system can be converted into a Polytopic LPV system by the application of a nonlinear state feedback. Then the control law can be designed through LPV control techniques. The method is validated on a hub-beam system, which is first converted to the Polytopic LPV form by nonlinear state feedback. And the regional pole assignment is then considered for the resultant system via linear state feedback. Solution of the parameters of the controller is obtained by solving an LMI constrained convex optimization problem. Numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":315420,"journal":{"name":"2010 8th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123513607","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
