{"title":"القيادة الأصيلة ودورها في تعزيز مخرجات العمل الموقفية","authors":"Rzgar Hama Rasheed Ahmad, Yousif obed Amin","doi":"10.21928/juhd.v8n3y2022.pp26-36","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21928/juhd.v8n3y2022.pp26-36","url":null,"abstract":"يهدف البحث الحالي الى توضيح الدور الذي تلعبه القيادة الأصيلة بأبعادها ( الوعي الذاتي ، والمعالجة المتوازنة ، والمنظور الاخلاقي وشفافية العلاقة في تعزيز مخرجات العمل الموقفية، وتحقيقاً لأهداف البحث تم اعتماد المنهج الوصفي التحليلي عن طريق تصميم إستمارة استبانة تم إعدادها بما يتوافق مع هدف البحث تم توزيعها في المنظمة المبحوثة ــ جامعة السليمانية التقنية ، على عينة من المنتسبين ( كوادر تدريسية وموظفين) ، وبواقع ( 105 )إستمارة، في حين بلغ عدد الاستمارات المسترجعة والصالحة للتحليل (98) وبمعدل إستجابة مقدارها (93 %). تم تحليل البيانات المستحصلة من الميدان المبحوث باستخدام الرنامج الاحصائي (SPSS-V.20) باعتماد مجموعة من أدوات التحليل منها معامل الارتباط ، ونماذج الانحدار الخطي البسيط والمتعدد أيضا ، مما ساعد على التوصل إلى مجموعة من النتائج ، التي تم في ضوئها بلورة جملة من الاستنتاجات من أهمها: إمكانية التعميم بخصوص أهمية دور القيادة الأصيلة ، بوصفها ذات ارتباط وتأثير جوهري في تعزيز مخرجات العمل الموقفية.\u0000وفي ضوء جملة الاستنتاجات ، تم تقديم مجموعة من مقترحات ، و من أهمها: توظيف المنظمة المبحوثة لأبعاد القيادة الأصيلة في اعتماد ووضع سيناريوهات متنوعة للتعامل مع مواقف العمل المختلفة. وجعل أبعاد القيادة الأصيلة كجزء رئيسي من أسلوب عمل المدراء في المنظمة. و اخيرا توعية وتدريب الأفراد العاملين على وضع الإجراءات الإستباقية ضمن اهتماماتهم القصوى عند التعامل مع مواقف العمل المختلفة المتوقعة.","PeriodicalId":313826,"journal":{"name":"Journal of University of Human Development","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121485581","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
{"title":"From Supernatural to Psychological: A Historical Study of the Concept of the 'Fantastic' in Hoffmann’s ‘The Sandman’ and Poe’s ‘The Tell-Tale Heart’","authors":"Alan A. Saeed","doi":"10.21928/juhd.v8n3y2022.pp8-17","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21928/juhd.v8n3y2022.pp8-17","url":null,"abstract":"This research paper explores how and why the existing tradition of supernatural stories about ghosts and other fantastical creatures, which located terror as an external factor in these unnatural and malignant beings, was transformed in the early to mid-Nineteenth Century into tales that are instead focused on fear in terms of the internal psychology of the narrator and the protagonist. It investigates two well-known examples of psychological horror, E.TA. Hoffmann’s “The Sandman” (1816) and Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart” (1843).\u0000The research paper deploys a contextual historical approach examining the impact of Romanticism as a philosophy focusing on the individual’s mental state and extreme psychological situations, as well as developing scientific ideas about psychology in the period. In my argument it is “madness” (which could affect anyone in society) that became the new fear that haunted and fascinated society, replacing the explicitly external supernatural. It seems that the recent and dominant concept of language has certain shortfalls with regard to the accountability and definitions of variations. By giving a different account of certain parameters and by arguing that the human language should be seen as a system of thought having only syntactic and semantic properties, the cross-linguistic variations are considered as various morpho-phonological systems of the many languages of the world, which ought not to be considered as part of the generative language computation. Such arguments will have significant implications to the understanding and definitions of the concept of language. The findings indicate that, if the goal of the linguistic theory is to seek a perfect system and to minimize variations within and across the languages, the term ‘language’ should be seen as a single, natural, universal, and invariant system without assuming that its computation is a double-interface. {"title":"Why Do Students Still Plagiarize? Perceptions of EFL and Non-EFL Students on Plagiarism","authors":"Brwa Omer","doi":"10.21928/juhd.v8n2y2022.pp54-60","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21928/juhd.v8n2y2022.pp54-60","url":null,"abstract":"This paper is an investigation on the perception of Kurdish EFL and non-EFL students on plagiarism, as well as the causes that make students resort to it. A group of students participated in the research paper who were enrolled in different departments at one of the universities in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. The data was collected through a questionnaire followed by interviews to get a better understanding of the phenomenon in question. The findings of the current study show that there is a misconception about the idea of plagiarism and students mostly consider copying and pasting material as plagiarism. This led to the understanding that paraphrasing does not really constitute plagiarism, and that shows that the issue is limited to the stealing of words not ideas in most cases. This analysis is part of the PH.D. research under the title of \"Reception Theory and the Criticism of Kurdish poetry,\" in which two concepts such as textual distance and transportable interpretation have been discussed; moreover, Wolfgang Iser was the actual person who founded those two mentioned concepts. Above all, Iser was fundamentally one of the leaders of reception theory. Then, this analysis aims at clarifying the way those two concepts deal with the texts to gain their appropriate meanings. After that, this argument between those two concepts and their effects on texts has been practiced in the 'Talesim and Ay Way Zara Gyan,' which were two challenging texts. Mustafa’s novel When Mountains Weep, based on Judith Herman’s conceptualization of trauma in her book Trauma and Recovery: The Aftermath of Violence - from Domestic Abuse to Political Terror. Being on the road, Kurds are either internally displaced, migrating, or oppressed and assimilated politically. The prevention of language, confiscation of land, forced assimilation, and constant armed conflicts have made Kurds develop a traumatic cognitive and emotional response to the meaning of life, anguish, integration, and survival. Therefore, the paper studies the traumatic consequences on the main characters’ psyches, in particular Hamko, based on three symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder which are hyperarousal, intrusion, and constriction.
