Method a qualitative study, carried out with 28 professionals from Casas da Mulher Brasileira: Brasília (Distrito Federal), Campo Grande (Mato Grosso do Sul) and Curitiba (Paraná). Data collection took place through Critical-emancipatory Workshops, between October 2020 and October 2021. Speeches were subjected to thematic content analysis, and the images were analyzed using the documentary interpretation method, with the support of software. Results psychologists, social workers and administrative technicians participated in the study, most of whom had more than four years of work experience in the institution. Four empirical categories emerged from the analyses: Educational intervention as a motivation for knowledge construction; The importance of group dynamics for collaborative learning; The active methodology as a tool for professional recognition; Educational intervention as a possibility to (re)think professional practice. Conclusion and implications for practice professionals perceive the potential of educational intervention for understanding and transforming the reality of their work, made possible by the playful, critical, and participatory dynamics. Moreover, it allowed expanding and deepening knowledge to cope with gender violence.","PeriodicalId":30154,"journal":{"name":"Escola Anna Nery","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67301122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method a cross-sectional online study, carried out between May 2021 and August 2022, with 97 parturient women in the municipality of Rio das Ostras. In the association between variables, the chi-square test and logistic regression were used. Results among the participants, 77.3% gave birth in the public maternity hospital and 22.7% in the private maternity hospital. The prevalence of breastfeeding in the first hour of life in the delivery room and in rooming-in was, respectively, 21.6% and 58.3%, with significant differences between maternity hospitals. Postpartum women from the public maternity hospital were more likely to not breastfeed in the first hour of life. Having basic education increased the chances of the baby not being breastfed in the delivery room and not having early skin-to-skin contact and not breastfeeding breastfed in rooming-in. Conclusion and implications for practice breastfeeding in the first hour of life did not reach recommended levels and different factors associated with its occurrence were identified, such as education level, place of childbirth and skin-to-skin contact. It is recommended that maternity hospitals implement humanized practices in newborn care to increase breastfeeding rates in the first hour of life.","PeriodicalId":30154,"journal":{"name":"Escola Anna Nery","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67301419","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method participatory research, developed by Design Thinking as a collaborative strategy for the planning and construction of guidelines for Permanent Education in Health in a Health Region in the state of Paraná, Brazil. Municipal managers, health professionals, and representatives of the Health Region participated, totaling 32 participants. Documentary analysis, focus groups and online forms for data collection were carried out, which were analyzed according to the Brazilian National Policy on Permanent Education in Health and the problematizing dialogic conception of collaborative path. Results they pointed out that regional planning describes mostly generalist and quantifiable health education actions, and that raised concerns when collectively reflected. The collaborative activity provided spaces for questioning the planning of Permanent Health Education, dialogical relationships, construction of knowledge anchored in the re-signification of practices and co-participatory elaboration of qualitative Permanent Health Education guidelines based on the reflection of experienced reality. Final considerations and implications for practice Design Thinking promoted leading role and transformation of knowledge and management through emancipatory dialogue. The study significantly corroborates the adoption of co-participatory and regional planning for Permanent Education in Health by redefining practices.","PeriodicalId":30154,"journal":{"name":"Escola Anna Nery","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67301352","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
