The purpose of the study is to substantiate the implementation specifics of conceptual opposition within the framework of the presented dichotomy in the Russian and Anglo-American language spaces. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the author’s proposed dichotomous model Creation – Destruction compared with the classical dyad “Us – Them”. \u0000Materials and methods. The materials of the study were fragments of speeches by the top leadership of the Russian Federation, analytical comments and publications by representatives of the Russian and foreign media Internet space, statements by experts of the political programs on Channel One and Russia-1 TV channels in 2022. When writing the article, the following methods were used: conceptual analysis, undertaken on the basis of comparative characteristics of the nominees of the concepts under study, contextual analysis, including lexico-semantic analysis of definitions fixed in Russian and English lexicographic sources. \u0000Results. A structured organization of conceptual opposition was revealed, the levels of realization of opposition were presented, as well as the distinctive-feature classification of opposition subjects Creation – Destruction on the example of the model Us – Them. Most industries during the war were transferred to the production of military products. After the Great Patriotic War, the industry was transferred to the production of civilian products. Consumer goods, especially textile products that were not produced during the war years, have become particularly popular. For the rapid post-war recovery of the textile industry, it was necessary to establish an effective personnel policy. The article analyzes the personnel, numerical, gender and age composition in the textile industry of the Ulyanovsk region in 1945-1955. The main personnel problems in the industry and ways to solve them are identified. \u0000The purpose of the study is to study the personnel in the textile industry of the Volga region in the post–war period. \u0000Materials and methods. The materials for the study were archival sources, periodicals of the Volga region, works of regional historians. Historical-typological and historical-comparative methods were used in the analysis of sources. \u0000The results of the work. By 1955, the main personnel problems in the textile industry of the Volga region were identified, and ways to solve them were outlined. The article reveals the effectiveness of the measures taken to solve personnel problems. The ongoing personnel policy in the Ulyanovsk textile industry has led to an increase in the number of employees at textile enterprises, effective training and advanced training of textile workers. The data obtained allow us to draw conclusions about the personnel situation in the Ulyanovsk textile industry during the period under review. Fayzullina","doi":"10.12731/2077-1770-2022-14-4-346-356","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.12731/2077-1770-2022-14-4-346-356","url":null,"abstract":"Rationale is the search for an answer to the question that concerns many today, whether it is possible to ensure the security of the individual and the state as a whole by means of language in a communicative space filled with threats of a different nature. \u0000The aim of the study is to prove that raising of speech culture level as an extremely relevant field of knowledge and a sphere of practical competences in the face of new challenges of modernity should become the subject of closer comprehension not only of specialists but also of the native speakers of the Russian language, since the contemporary speech is one of the components of national well-being. \u0000Materials and methods. The data used are works on the culture of speech, orthology, and communicativism, legislative acts, as well as various linguistic factual materials inherent in modern discourse. The analysis was carried out by means of descriptive, stylistic, statistical, and contextual methods; the study of the factual material was carried out by means of observation and questioning. \u0000Results. The results of the study showed that improving the speech culture of modern Russian speakers cannot an aim, and the approach to solving this problem is formalized and not aligned with the new reality. In the current conditions, when communicative activity becomes difficult to regulate, a special life-saving means is the speech culture of a person, often in the literal sense of the word, ensuring his or her physical survival. \u0000Results application. The methods of scientific research are the method of theoretical analysis, descriptive and comparative methods. \u0000Results. The article presents the results of the analysis of the concepts of “abbreviation”, “abbreviation” and “acronym”. Referring to the works of religious studies, anthropology and psychology, the main features of ritual are identified, allowing to talk about ritual as a peculiar form of archetypal consciousness. Particular attention is focused on religious discourse, for it is here that the nature of ritual in its most varied forms emerges most clearly. It is established that ritual practices in the religious and psychological spheres have a common cause – the symbolic function of protection from the outside world by means of certain actions, verbal formulas, and ceremonials. The idea is postulated that ritual as a magical action is opposed to conscious faith; ritual dependence is opposed to religious freedom. It is emphasized that “inside” the developed religious systems the concept of ritual is used more often in a negative sense. The theoretical basis is mainly represented by the works of V. Terner, K. Jung, B. Malinowski, and M. Eliade. The methodology of the work includes phenomenological, textual, conceptual and comparative analysis. The data of the study can be used in philosophical and theological analysis of the phenomenon of ritual. The paper is a review of the main theoretical treatments of discourses and terminological aspects related to the topic “food”. A great variety of approaches to defining and classifying the main concepts of such studies (P.P. Burkova, I.E. Zaĭceva, N.N.Kacunova, F.L. Kosickaya, A.V. Olyanich) indicates that the issue is open to discussion and serves as a motivation for our research. \u0000Purpose. The study aims to find translation strategies in rendering gastronomic discourse from English into Russian. \u0000Material and methods. Jamie Oliver’s TV cooking shows from 2005 to 2017 and their translations into Russian made by Foxlife, Telecafe, Kuchnya TV channels. Contrastive method and critical analysis are used as the main methods of the study. \u0000Results. The paper describes effective translation strategies of gastronomic discourse from English into Russian, systematizes common translation mistakes and offers their possible solutions. \u0000Practical implications. Electronic business correspondence, which determines the social and cultural specifics of the modern world community in the field of business, management and material production, is considered in the article as a linguistic phenomenon. \u0000Purpose. To reveal the pragmalinguistic features of the texts of English-language electronic commercial letters and consider the specifics of the English-language electronic commercial letter. \u0000Materials and methods. To solve the tasks set, a set of scientific research methods was used: analysis of scientific literature on the research problem and texts of English-language electronic commercial letters, continuous sampling method, descriptive method, comparative method. \u0000Results. Particular attention is paid to business letters as a traditional way of communication between organizations, enterprises, associations and bodies. It was revealed that each business letter has its own communicative purpose, pragmatic essence. Intertextuality as a peculiar principle of scientific discourse, expressed simultaneously at the level of content and in terms of expression, is a special way of building new knowledge based on other people’s knowledge and empirical experience. Conducting a comparative study on intertextual markers of humanitarian discourse in Russian and English will reveal their common and specific features. \u0000Purpose. In this paper, the author conducts a comparative analysis of intertextual markers of scientific humanitarian discourse in Russian and English. \u0000Materials and methods. The research is based on general scientific methods, i.e., generalization and analysis as well as descriptive method, mathematical and statistical method, continuous sampling method. \u0000Results. As a result of the research, the authors identify explicit markers of intertextuality inherent in scientific humanitarian discourse in Russian and English, among which background references, indirect speech and quotations are the most popular. During the quantitative calculation of the studied data, the authors revealed that the percentage ratio of various intertextual markers within one language differs. Thus, it was revealed that in the English-language discourse, most of the intertextual markers are formed by background links, while in the Russian-language discourse, this number was made up of background links together with indirect speech.
