The systems and understandings institutionalized on this claim and belief have applied this situation to non-Western religions and defined the religious movement and discourse as “reactionary”. When viewed from a different perspective, it is understood that Islamic movements, which are handled with a Western-centered historiography, emerged with Islamic methods. As a matter of fact, when the experiences of transforming the concepts and institutions (Persian bureaucracy, Greek Philosophy, Mongolian Customs...) encountered by Muslims in the history of Islam and the methods they use are taken into account, It is seen that this situation shows itself again against the Orientalist Western states. First of all, Muslims, who acted with methods coming from the Muslim self-perception to resist the invasion attempts of Western states, derived the concept of \"Islamic Civilization\" from the history and roots of Islam, despite the \"civilization\" policy of the Orientalist West. These movements, which took place between 1865 and 1920, showed themselves as \"Islamization of Civilization\". In the renewal process that started after the First World War, Muslims encountered the concept of the modern state and aimed to Islamize this concept or to oppose it. Concepts such as \"nation, citizen, monopoly of violence, and constitution\", which are the elements of the modern state, have become new issues that Islamists deal with. In this context, between the years of 1923-1979, Islamists, reacting to the understanding of the modern state (Kemalism, Nasserism, Pahlavi Dynasty), engaged in the conceptualization of the Islamic state, and in this process, efforts to \"Islamize the Modern State\" occurred. The modern state system was hit hard by the Iranian Islamic Revolution in 1979; A new process has begun for Islamic movements. After the understanding based on Arab nationalism lost its influence with the Camp David Agreement and the Afghan Jihad, Islam was reinterpreted as a new element. In this process, Islamic movements, which were reorganized as an alternative to the regimes that were institutionalized in isolation from the people, aimed to have a say in power through democracy. In this context, the prominent concept of this process has been democracy, and Islamists have developed new understandings by \"Islamizing democracy\". The process that started in 1979 continued with the ten-year cycle (end of the cold war, September 11 attacks). The Ḥisba Institution, which embodies many duties and authorities, is based on the Qurʾān and the Prophet’s teachings. This institution is a reflection of the principle of commanding what is right and forbidding what is wrong (al-amr bi al-maʿrūf wa al-nahy ʿan al-munkar). This principle embodies th concept of education, supervision, and change. For this reason, it is in a reciprocal relationship with education. The primary aim of the Ḥisba Institution is to ensure social control. Methods for achieving social control include educational approaches. The Ḥisba Institution which aims at moral development and the protection of social order, Muḥtasibs in charge of the Ḥisba Institution perform supervisory activities to ensure social order and control, while at the same time serving as role-models for the individuals in society.  All of these features can be considered as the contribution of the Ḥisba Institution to public education. While many studies have addressed the Ḥisba Institution and the principle of commanding what is right and forbidding what is wrong, there has not been a specific study on its educational aspect. In this study, it was tried to determine the contribution of the Ḥisba Institution, an organization of Islamic states, to public education by examining its general characteristics and practices from the moment it took the form of the first institution to the moment it lost its institutional form.  In this context, the study evaluated the contribution of the Ḥisba Institution to the education of individual, social order, and education. The aspects of the Ḥisba Institution that reflected on the society were analyzed using document technique, on of the qualitative research methods with a focus on education. The data obtained were analyzed and presented in the text. This study is considered significant for exploring an unexplored aspect of the Ḥisba Institution, its contribution to public education, and its contribution to the field of religious education. As a result of this study, it has been determined that the Ḥisba Institution has a structure that contributes to public education on the basis of moral development as well as being in a position that aims at the contunity of social order. However, based on the different practices of the sects on various issues, it is possible to say that one of the main factors that led to the disagreement was the hadith. In fact, due to various factors related to hadith, sects have different views on many issues of fiqh. One such issue, which is also the subject of this study, is the issue of qiraat behind the imam, that is, whether or not the person following the imam should recite Sūrah al-Fātiha behind him. There are three opinions on this issue that qiraat should and should not be performed behind the imam, and that qiraat should be performed in prayers where the imam recites openly, but not in others. However, since our country is mostly populated by Hanafi and Shafii followers, the first two views are more prominent. Since the subject has both a hadith and a jurisprudential dimension, there is a large literature as well as independent works on the subject, but in this study, a comparison was made between the works of al-Bukhārī (d. 256/870) and al-Bayhaqī (d. 458/1066), al-Qırā'at halfa'l-imām. It is thought that it will be important to make an evaluation between a work written during the formation and development period of the sects on the issue of qiraat behind the imam and a book that was classified at a time when each sect was systematized and fully established among Muslims. The aim of this study is to reveal the approaches of al-Bukhārī and al-Bayhaqī, two important muhaddiths of their period in the science of hadīth, and to determine where they differed or united. For this purpose, the works of both scholars were examined comparatively by using the documentation method, one of the qualitative research methods. At the end of the study, it was concluded that al-Bukhārī and al-Bayhaqī agreed on the issue of qiraat behind the imam. The two muhaddiths, who say that qiraat is a rukn of the prayer and must be performed by the one who follows the imam, justify their views by quoting hadiths such as \"Whoever does not recite Sūrah al-Fātiha has no prayer.\", \"Any prayer in which Sūrah al-Fātiha is not recited is incomplete.\", \"If a person does not recite Sūrah al-Fātiha in prayer, that prayer is incomplete.\", and criticize the narrations that state that the imam's qiraat is sufficient. In this regard, al-Bayhaqī includes first the marfū', then the mawqūf and maqtū', and then the sayings of later people in that order. He then criticizes the view that the congregation should recite the Sūrah al-Fātiha in prayers in which the imam does not recite it in public but only in private, and he cites and criticizes the hadiths put forward by those who advocate no recitation at all. As a result of multiple interpretations, this term, which has different connotations depending on society, period, and culture, has different definitions. Privacy in traditional societies meant guarding one's personal space, confidentiality, and private life. However, as the digital era has progressed, so has the meaning and understanding of privacy. The subject of this study is the change in individuals' sense of privacy in modern society in terms of sociology of religion. We can now continually exchange data via smartphones, social media platforms, and other online services. This data may contain a variety of personal information, such as online buying habits, search engine query records, geographical location, and so on. Social media platforms have evolved into a great tool for people to share their lives and communicate with people who are both relevant and irrelevant to them. However, these platforms have the potential to essentially erase privacy borders. While perusing social media, many of us do not hesitate to post our meals, excursions, relationships, and even emotional states. These social media posts expose private lives to the public. This necessitates redefining the boundaries of privacy. Privacy is a fundamental virtue that, as in the past, must be safeguarded in the era of technology. The purpose of this research is to discover theological and sociological changes in the idea of privacy, as well as the variables that influence it. In terms of the methodology of this study, I shall compare the phenomenon and understanding of privacy in traditional society types and today's society from the perspective of sociology of religion. It can be clearly observed that the understanding of privacy in the modern period has changed especially with the development of technology. Data privacy concerns and social media sharing require individuals to be more conscious about protecting their privacy. Individuals must understand how their personal data is utilized, strengthen their security measures, and take deliberate actions to preserve their privacy in the digital environment. Making people aware of this development highlights the significance of the study. As a result, there are theological and societal variances in the idea of privacy between traditional and modern societies.  In terms of privacy, traditional societies were more community-oriented, but modern societies are more individual-oriented. Because technology was not as prevalent in old communities as it is today, invasions of religious privacy were largely carried out through verbal communication. Born in Switzerland into a non-religious Jewish family, Leo develops a deep interest in Sufism to study Islamic mysticism following his encounter with Frithjof Schuon [Īsā Nūr al-Dīn] (1907-1998), a distinguished representative of Islamic spirituality in the West. He turns to Schuon, whom he values for his spiritual journey and sees as an experienced guide. He converts from his current religious belief and joins the Shadhiliyya order. As a result of his warm and visionary nature, during his travels, he gains knowledge about Islamic tradition and Sufism through his relationships with famous masters of Sufism such as Shaikh Muhammad at-Ta'dīl (d. 1371/1952) and Sufi thinkers like Titus Burckhardt [Sidi İbrahim] (1908-1984), who conducted theoretical studies on eastern doctrine. He perceives mystical teachings as a journey into the depths of the heart and soul in pursuit of a transcendent reality and truth. He sees them as a guide for human spiritual development and getting closer to Allah, representing the internal dimension of Islam. In his theory, overcoming the self or controlling ego-centered thoughts, the process of reaching divine love and truth, discovering one's true potential, killing one's self in this world of multiplicity to bring out the divine light within, and recognizing one's essence are all important. Furthermore, in the studies in which Schaya put his thoughts into writing, he associates certain Sufi concepts with other metaphysical principles and emphasizes the existence of a universal metaphysical understanding. The aim of this study is to analyze Leo Schaya's Sufi thought from a traditionalist perspective, to understand and evaluate the universal dimension he puts forward regarding Islamic tradition and mysticism. In other words, it is to investigate how Schaya's Sufi teachings provide guidance in the inner journey of humans and to delve into the universal dimension of his thoughts. For this purpose, document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, has been used to examine the author's mystical teachings, and the data related to the subject has been collected. This data, categorized according to specific characteristics or themes, formed the general framework of the text. Schaya's inner teachings offer significant information on topics such as societal dynamics, spiritual interactions, and relationships between universal religious teachings. Periodicals, which are the places where historical, literary, and intellectual activities arise and grow or are followed, and public opinion is formed, are the most important reference sources for the next generations as well as providing detailed information about the cultures of nations. One is Türk Dili (Turkish Language - ISSN 1300-2155), a monthly language and literature journal published since October 1951 by the Turkish Language Institution, Turkey's leading scientific and cultural institution. The journal publishes essays, poems, stories, criticism, and similar literary products, scientific or popular articles dealing with the current problems of Turkish and Turkish literature and translations. In our study, the studies published on ʿAlī Shīr Navāʾī, which were transferred to the Periodicals Database of the journal and made available for access, were scanned. Navāʾī is a poet who is recognized as a unique poet in world literature for the degree of his art, his services to the development of national literature, his numerous works, and his significant influence on the life of society and nation as a statesman. The purpose and importance of this study are to investigate and determine the extent to which the journal Türk Dili, which is a well-established publication of a well-established state institution, gives space to Navāʾī, the famous Turkish sage, who is remembered with respect and admiration by the poets in the Anatolian field, whose poems are written in verse and who is recognized as the person who has rendered the most outstanding service to the Turkish language after Kashgarlı Mahmut. The breakdown of the texts scanned from the studies published on Navāʾī in the Periodicals Database of the journal is shown chronologically in a table. In addition, these texts were categorized by content analysis method. The study concluded that the journal, which continues to be published, has given wide coverage to Nevâyî since its establishment, published a special issue for the poet, and emphasized the poet in the articles accessed from the Periodicals Database (1953-2012). However, it is thought that Navāʾī, about whom memorial meetings are organized in many European countries and whose corpus is published in various languages, should be given more attention in Turkey. Considering the place/impact of Navāʾī, the fifteenth-century classical period poet of Chagatai literature, in Turkish language and literature, it is understood that these works and activities are essential but insufficient. According to our current knowledge, no research is aimed at analyzing the studies on Navāʾī in any periodical publication. In the history of humanity, factors such as religious, political, military, and economic factors have been effective in the voluntary or forced settlement of human communities from one place to another. Our paper focuses on the reasons, nature, and consequences of the settlement policy of the Umayyad State, which constituted a breaking point in Islamic history in many respects, reached the widest borders of the Muslims during its period, and at the same time, positively or negatively affected the Islamization process of the Turks in particular. There is no study that specifically deals with the settlement policy of the period in question. Our aim with this study is to reveal the primary purpose, structure, and functioning of the settlement policy, which was an essential part of the conquests in the Umayyad period, as well as its consequences in Central Asia. A correct understanding of the settlement policy in question will serve the important purpose of understanding the purpose and results of the conquest policy in the Umayyad period and taking lessons from it. The methodology of the study is based on the sources of siyar, mughazi, general Islamic history, and futuh written in the first period of Islamic history, as well as modern studies in this field. In the context of the subject, the following main observations are made: The increase in conquest movements during the Umayyad period enabled the intensification of settlement activities. This process coincides with the period of powerful caliphs such as Mu'awiya b. Abū Sufyan, 'Abd al-Malik b. Marwan and al-Walīd b. 'Abd al-Malik. In the caliphates of the other caliphs, conquests and, thus settlement policies were not on the agenda due to reasons such as political turmoil, throne fights, and economic crises. The settlement policies put into practice differed in terms of their objectives. Foremost among these objectives was to ensure the permanence of the cities created as a result of the conquests by settling troops in them, to ensure the security of the country, to prepare the ground for the spread of Islam, and to maintain order in the country. The settlement policy of the Umayyads was mostly military in character. The primary purpose of the settlement policy in this period was to prepare the ground for the conquests that would develop later and to acquire land. The results of the aforementioned policy had different outcomes according to regions or geographies. In the caliphate of Mu'awiya, Zīyad b. Abīh, the governor of Basra, settled more than 50,000 people from the people of Kufa and Basra-who were likely to be from the tribes of Kinde and Yazd-as well as soldiers and their families in Khorasan. Beyânü'l- Hak, with 182 issues is pivotal in revealing the political, literary, and social structure of the period. Published weekly, Beyânü’l- Hak lasted between 1908- 1912. Editorial staff was comprised of thinkers interested in scientific traditions. One of the prominent names publishing in Beyânü’l- Hak, distinguished with a wide range of editors and writers, was Abdullah Âtıf Tüzüner. Born in Konya in 1869, Atıf, Fatih Mosque lecturer, continued scientific research until he died in 1954. His works ranges from the history of Islam and Arabic grammar to particularly Turkish-language translations of the Qur'an. Along with the articles he published in Beyânü'l- Hak, he also wrote poems and articles in the periodicals Mahfil and İtisâm. Abdullah Âtıf, who published 23 poems in Beyânü’l- Hak, 9 of them in 1908 and 14 of them in 1910 would, would place “A. Âtıf” signature on his works. Abdullah Âtıf dealt with the political content intensively in his poems and incorporated religious and social elements into almost all of his poems. Political content in poems came to existence on the basis of criticisms against the period of Abdulhamid II and in the form of expressing these criticisms over the social life of the people, in general. Besides, there were also some literary elements in poetry, though they remained more in the background compared to other elements. In this study, the poems of Abdullah Âtıf in the journal Beyânü'l- Hak were discussed in terms of their political, religious, social, and literary dimensions. Abdullah Âtıf’s poems were evaluated as a whole, and the contents of the poems were classified according to their subjects. General information about the journal and Abdullah Âtıf was given briefly before the content analysis of the poems to make the subject more comprehensible.  Thus, within the scope of Abdullah Âtıf's poems, this article aimed to discuss the political and social realms of the poems in Beyânü’l-Hak and how Abdullah Âtıf addressed the public in his poems. How should the hierarchical distribution of the courses be? How should the lesson examples be? answers to the questions were sought. Because in the current situation, it has been determined that the master of qirāʾāt courses are insufficient and their distribution is uneven. In addition, in order to increase the efficiency of the lessons, suggestions were made on the entrance exam, language problem and some issues. In recent years, postgraduate education has become widespread. With the proliferation of theology faculties, the demand for master of qirāʾāt education in the science of qirāʾāt has increased. This education is of great importance in the career steps of the Ministry of National Education and the Presidency of Religious Affairs. Qurʾānic recitation and the science of qirāʾāt constitute the most basic courses in all fields of duty. Sufficiency in the science of qirāʾāt must be provided during the course period. Curriculum courses are of great importance in fulfilling this. For this reason, master of qirāʾāt and doctorate program courses should complement each other. Among the basic courses that introduce the resources and topics of the master of qirāʾāt courses; The fact that the doctorate courses consist of courses on details and problematic issues will contribute to the purpose of the program. For this purpose, a new curriculum proposal is presented for the graduate program in the science of qirāʾāt. This study is limited to the curriculum courses. While conducting the study, the curricula of the institutes of social sciences that have curricula related to the science of qirāʾāt were scanned. However, evaluations were made in the light of the studies carried out in other fields, our experiences and the comments of the experts in the field. (In other fields of Islamic sciences other than the science of qirāʾāt). While there are sufficient courses in many well-established universities in the science of qirāʾāt, it has been determined that the courses are inadequate and irregular due to the fact that the science of qirāʾāt and tafsīr are considered together and there are not enough instructors in many newly restructured universities (in newly established faculties) Courses must be hierarchical in order to achieve the purpose of master's and doctorate programs. In this context, it has been stated that Classical Tajvīd Texts, Classical Tajvīd and Qirāʾāt Resources, Qirāʾāt Science and History, Imām ʿĀṣim and ʿĀṣim’s Qirāʾāt, Qourân/Muṣḥaf History and Classical Qirāʾāt Texts should be taught in the master of qirāʾāt program. It appears in the Qurʾān as a noun, verb, and adjective in 11 verses, 13 times in all, and is one of the words that has passed from Arabic into Turkish. The word is found in the Qurʾān in various forms such as nusḥ, nāṣiḥ, naṣūḥ, enṣaḥu, naṣaḥtu. It is originally an Arabic word derived from the root nuṣḥ, and is the antonym of the word غش (to deceive).  In Arabic, the word can imply \"to be pure-hearted\", \"to be pure, genuine\", \"to be sincere and oneself\", \"to seek the good of others\" and \"to erect\". However, it has undergone a narrowing of meaning as it passed from Arabic to Turkish. I believe that translating the word from Arabic into Turkish by considering its Turkish denotations would not be the correct method. Therefore, it is better to uncover the meanings of the word naṣīḥa in the verses in line with its original meanings at the time of the revelation of the Qurʾān, as well as to review the accuracy of its translations in the Turkish translations of Qurʾān. In this context, the aim of this research is, first, to identify the meaning of the word naṣīḥa in relation to its contexts in the Qurʾānic verses and its meanings in the Arabic language, and second, to assess the accuracy of its translation in the Turkish translations of Qurʾān. To that end, I shall explore the dictionary meanings of the word naṣīḥa both in Arabic and Turkish language, and provide some examples of poems from the period of jāhiliyyah to show how the word is having been used in Arabic. Subsequently, I shall examine the contexts of the verses in which the word appears and analyze it from a lexical standpoint if needed. I will give some examples of translation that I believe to be inaccurate from the analyzed translations. Using the narrations obtained from the classical sources, I arrive at the following conclusions: In the Qurʾān, the word naṣīḥa is used in three different senses: \"to give advice\" in al-Aʿrāf 7/62, 68, 79, 93 and Hūd 11/34; \"to be sincere/to act sincerely\" in al-Tawba 9/91, al-Qaṣaṣ 28/12 and al-Taḥrīm 66/8; and \"to seek the good of one's interlocutor/others\" in al-A'rāf 7/21, Yūsuf 12/11 and, al-Qaṣaṣ 28/20. On the other hand, as part of the research, I examined 50 Turkish translations and identified translation problems particular to the word under consideration in 20 of them. The problem is that the word is typically translated as \"to give advice\" despite the fact that it is incompatible with the contexts or grammar of some verses, particularly al-Tawba 9/91 and Yūsuf 12/11. Another problem is that the phrase tawbatan naṣūḥā in al-Taḥrīm 66/8 is translated as “the repentance of naṣūḥ\" in its later conceptualized form, rather than in its original meaning at the time of the revelation of the verse, namely \"sincere/heartfelt repentance\".
