The article provides an assessment of the existing methodological approaches to the thermal calculation of non-insulated overhead line conductors in terms of determining the current at the maximum permissible value of the conductor temperature. The use of a particular approach currently depends solely on the preferences of a particular specialist. The long-term permissible current includes a large number of parameters of the mathematical model. The article proposes an updated model of the long-term permissible current of overhead lines. The influence of factors and parameters of the mathematical model for calculating the long-term permissible current on the calculation result is shown.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128691064","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An inertial navigation system and a star sensor are taken as the main navigation systems. The algorithm of guaranteed evaluation when combining the information of the inertial navigation system and the star sensor is proposed. When solving the problem of evaluation with the help of the minimal filter, the construction of the information set, which is guaranteed to contain the true state of the system, is a computationally difficult task for large dimensional systems. Therefore, instead of the exact construction of information sets, their approximate value is used, that is approximation in the form of convex polyhedron, received by approximation from above of \"exact\" but set implicitly by the system of linear equations and inequalities of the information set. The result of guaranteed evaluation is compared with the result of evaluation by the Kalman filter.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127138537","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

About 60-70% of power interruptions occur in these networks. Based on a general analysis of technological violations associated with emergencies, the article presents the statistics for five years on the breakage of phase wires of overhead lines. A break is one of the most dangerous injuries that pose a serious danger to people and animals as well as lead to fire hazardous situations. The causes of wire breakage of 10 kV overhead lines, the frequency of their occurrence are considered in detail. The influence of climatic (season of the year, adverse weather conditions, thunderstorms, ice rains, etc.) and other (non-compliance with operating requirements, deterioration of materials and structures, unauthorized actions, etc.) factors on the possibility of wire breaks is shown. Letnev","doi":"10.1109/ICIEAM48468.2020.9111989","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/ICIEAM48468.2020.9111989","url":null,"abstract":"Ensuring safety while using robots in their interaction with humans is one of the main principles of robotics. An expert control system for a robot would be based on the knowledge about such tools, which could help to solve applied problems in that field, where the robot is supposed to be used by humans. Such a system should also include expert, heuristic knowledge on communicative relations of the «human-robot» type. Those relations affect the selection, made by the robot of such problem-solving tools, which would be safe for humans. Thus, the knowledge on communicative relations determines the knowledge on problem-solving tools. Therefore, the application of an expert system for the purposes of robot control should provide a higher safety than a neural network system based on the procedure of machine learning. The goal of this research is to develop such a component of the expert control system, which would exclude the possibility of a robot causing health and life damage to a human. The method of achieving this goal consists of integrating a phenomenon of self-organization, inherent to a collective control subject within intersubjective «human-robot» relations, into production rules of the robot knowledge base. The knowledge base of the expert robot-control system should include the knowledge about equivalence of communicative relations between humans and robots. The research results in such a concept model of that component in the knowledge base of the expert robot-control system which would enable both the mechanism of feedback between a subject and an object of the control and the safety of managing such a complex intellectual technical system as a robot. The study is interdisciplinary by its nature and unites several approaches from the fields of cybernetics, synergetics, artificial intelligence, the logic of relations and gnosiology. The research concludes that an expert robot-control system, based on self-organization, provides safe cooperation between robots and humans.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129188827","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We consider any transducer that is not connected directly to the measured current, but is located at a distance from the conductor, as an MCT. Due to this, such an MCT does not require an increased class insulation. The paper investigates the distribution of the magnetic field in the MCT magnetic current under the influence of the main current and the current that causes additional noise in the output signal. The mathematical model for obtaining the secondary MCT signal is described as well. The conclusion is drawn about the possibility of using a small-sized transducer for relay protection and automation.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124121487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem of detecting significant deviations in the accounting of electricity consumption is under consideration. The data available from power meters and intelligent sensors is used to classify the events in power supply process. This information is of high importance and can be utilized to predict violations. It leads to rapid decision-making and allows avoiding the penalties on behalf of the power distribution utilities. The data received from smart meters is usually represented in the form of so-called “load profiles”. The article introduces an approach for improving the solvability of the data discrimination problem through the non-parametric Wilcoxon sign ranks criterion under the cases with singularities in compared data samples of the type “vertical offset” and “scale”. The modified Wilcoxon criterion is considered as a tool for identifying deviations in the conduct of the technological process, which do not exceed the threshold values, but have a significant impact on the technical and economic indicators. The proposed method of identifying critical events, which uses the modified Wilcoxon criterion, makes it possible to determine both the fact of the presence of an event and to provide their identification. It is proved that the power of the proposed modified Wilcoxon test does not degrade comparing with the traditional Wilcoxon test. The executed example of processing the power consumption data of the petrochemical industrial enterprise allowed testing the effect of using the modified Wilcoxon criterion as a part of the computational procedure for the developed algorithm.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129301506","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The influence of the ambient temperature, as well as the load on the output frequency of a generator with a phasing chain of strain gauges of a mass measuring device, is studied. The form of the conversion function recording is obtained, which is convenient for studying the influence of simultaneous changes in the parameters of several load cells or the sensitivity with respect to many elements that affect the change in the frequency of the generator. The data processed is displayed in the units of mass considering the ambient temperature. A block diagram of a continuous dynamic weighing technique, using standard strain gages with averaging readings without additional computing devices, has been proposed.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115470999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, not enough attention is paid to the development of this alternative energy sector. The article analyzes one of the possible solutions to this problem. A design is proposed, in which the hydro turbine is built into the generator, and the entire structure is placed in the water. As a hydro generator, a special electric machine-a generator of combined excitation is offered. The generator inductor has powerful permanent magnets and an excitation winding. The total magnetic flux, which induces EMF in the phase windings, consists of the flows of these two sources of a magnetic field. The magnetic flux from the magnets remains unchanged, and from the excitation winding, the magnetic flux can be added or subtracted from the flux of the magnets. Thus, the magnetic flux control function remains in the machine. The current supply to the armature winding and the excitation winding is contactless. This design allows you to reduce the size due to permanent magnets and simplify the electronic system of stabilization of the output voltage by regulating the low-power excitation circuit. The generator has a reversed design, that is, the stator is inside and the rotor is outside. This design simplifies the overall layout of the turbine. The design of the generator has a patent of the Russian Federation. For the development of generators of this type, a design CAD system was created, consisting of a subsystem for the synthesis of optimal geometry on the basis of multi-level single-criteria optimization and an analysis subsystem built using well-known software complexes based on the finite element method. As an example of the operation of the system, the results of the calculation of the 3 kW hydro generator are shown. Comparative results of the calculations for the electronic model and tests of the mock-up sample are presented. The developed digital model of the generator showed good convergence with the real generator on the main parameters and characteristics.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"124 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114095376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article presents well-known variants of SRM mathematical models: using lookup tables or phase inductance values at fixed rotor positions. A variant of the mathematical model is proposed, based on the description of the phase inductance by the Fourier series. When using the proposed approach, the choice of the number of harmonics depends on the required calculation accuracy. This version of the mathematical model allows reducing the amount of initial information for modeling and maintain sufficient accuracy of the calculation results.
