This information system, based on fuzzy logic methods, can more precisely calculate electrical resistivity of the soil in specific conditions. The researchers describe the technique of forming a database and a knowledge base of the expert system including a set of models and algorithms. The article provides a detailed description of fuzzy models of electrical resistivity $rho$ for different types of soil depending on its humidity, salinity and temperature (both in positive and negative ranges). It offers fuzzy climatic models of soil in a specific area, taking into account changes of soil $rho$ deep into the ground throughout a year. The created artificial intelligence system evaluates the security level of electric power facilities on the basis of different algorithms, used to calculate grounding, touch and step voltages; it can more precisely determine soil $rho$ deep into the ground during a year. The researchers add an option of graphic depiction of modeling results for the validation of the solutions, offered by the expert system.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127530353","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Only one among them provides the maximum power generated by the power station. Standard methods for search and maintaining the maximum power point, designed to work under uniform insolation conditions, lose the ability to detect the maximum power point with partial shading and bring the photovoltaic station mode to a local peak point with significantly less power generation. Since the configuration of insolation can change relatively quickly, special algorithms are used to control the efficiency of the photovoltaic station, providing a quick determination of the vicinity of the global maximum power point. The paper presents a new algorithm implementing a high-speed output of a photovoltaic station mode in the vicinity of a point with maximum power generation with subsequent pass of control to standard methods of maintaining a working point. The basis of the algorithm is a neural network using four nonlinear classifiers, tuned with the use of support vector method. The space of precedents of the training sample of the neural network has a dimension equal to 3, although the measurement vector includes power values at 4 points of the energy characteristic. To make the algorithm universal, it is proposed to present the characteristics of the photovoltaic modules of the power station in the form of normalized dependencies. The process of tuning the neural network is illustrated by images of dividing surfaces in the use-case space of the training sample. A tuned neural network transfers the photovoltaic station mode to maximum energy production mode in a maximum of four stages of voltage change at the output of the photovoltaic modules.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125486364","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results were obtained on the physical model of the power system made at Voronezh State Technical University. The physical model consists of the physical model of a power plant with different types of generators, physical models of transformer substations with transformers of various groups of windings, and physical models of overhead and cable power lines. A special group of models is made up of load nodes, including those with voltage regulation at the points of common coupling. The obtained at the points of common coupling electric power quality indicators are discussed for the devices with the systems “converter-frequencyasynchronous motor with squirrel-cage rotor The complex studies of the voltage form deviation from the sine and the degree of symmetry are of interest, taking into account the phase of the load, especially at non-phases modes from a high voltage side of main step-down substation of a power system. It indicates the prospects of using energy storages and the development of appropriate control algorithms in order to reduce the cost of network electricity for consumers. Currently, energy storages are mainly used in conjunction with renewable energy sources to smooth out torn generation. This work is devoted to the development and analysis of ways of reducing the cost of electricity for organizations purchasing electricity in III and IV price categories in the Russian Federation. Control algorithms aimed at reducing peak power (1), and at minimizing the consumption of mains electricity in the control hours (2) are considered. Each algorithm allows for the purposeful reduction of a corresponding component of the electricity cost in accordance with the pricing features for the corresponding price category. The results of the research show that the first algorithm is advisable to be used with a sufficiently large maximum stored energy (capacity) of the storage, comparable to the daily consumption. Using the second algorithm allows reducing the power charge down to zero, while the maximum stored energy (capacity) of the storage can be relatively small — no higher than the average hourly consumption in the control hours, which does not require significant capital expenditures for implementation. In addition to reducing costs for the enterprise, the proposed solutions positively influence the energy system as a whole, as allow you to align its load during the day.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126970897","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The computational experiment results for magnetic field calculation created by the simulated system are presented. Comparative estimates of modern software environments accuracy based on the finite element method and the SEM software package based on the standard element method are obtained. The authors continued the development of numerical-analytical methods of standard elements introducing a new standard element for modeling DC coils. The introduction of such standard elements opens a possibility of applying standard element method without combining them with the finite element method. The use of standard elements provides for a good approximation of an outer boundary of the computational domain, the interface of its parts with linear and nonlinear properties, complete filling of the computational domain standard elements. The system of linear algebraic equations can be formed with respect to the Fourier coefficients of the representation of solutions at the boundaries of standard elements for their bonding with adjacent standard elements.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126151069","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An algorithm of overcoming a flight of stairs is described using the example of a device crawling onto one step. The specified algorithm consists of two stages: positioning (not studied in this paper) and the crawling onto a step. The latter is divided into 12 stages, during each of which two or three supports are fixed on the surface. Stages 1-11 occur in a vertical plane parallel to the flight of stairs (caterpillar-like movement), and stage 12 - in the horizontal plane (serpentine-like movement). Also, at a number of stages, the elongation / shortening of the links is observed (a worm-like principle of movement). The execution adequacy of the algorithm of crawling onto a step is confirmed by the results of a numerical experiment.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125208113","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The relevance of the research topic is confirmed by the fact that this type of current transformer is a priority in automation of existing substations and the construction of digital substations, to which a gradual transition is carried out. Despite the advantages of this type of current transformer, this device has disadvantages, one of which is positional sensitivity. Using the finite element model of the transformer developed in the Femm programm, the article studies the positional sensitivity of the secondary winding EMF to the cross-sectional shape of the primary winding (bus) and its displacement relative to the center of the Rogowski coil. The research results show the need to take into account the position of the bus relative to the center of the Rogowski coil, as well as the influence of the cross-sectional shape of the bus on the EMF in the secondary winding of the current transformer.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121965951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
