The most efficient way to change the engine speed is to change the frequency of the supply voltage. A frequency converter developed using vector-algorithmic control is proposed and the result of mathematical modeling of the proposed frequency converter in comparison with direct-on-line motor with MATHLAB Simulink environment is presented. This frequency converter uses a simple control system that can be performed in various ways, which allows adjusting the rotation speed of a three-phase induction motor, for example, in an electric drive for longitudinal movement of a crane beam, where 2-3 fixed speeds are needed.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123974471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The estimation of various variants of construction of schemes at change of number of phases from two to ten and ways of connection of winding of the generator is carried out: N-ray star or the closed ring from N sections. It is proved that, other things being equal, the specific electric losses of the winding with a small number of phases, from two to four, are preferable to multiphase windings. The advantages of closed multiphase windings over open windings are shown, both from the point of view of specific electric losses and from the point of view of maintaining output characteristics in case of single failures. With the help of mathematical models the analysis of pulsations of output voltage of rectifier for different number of phases and different schemes of connection of windings, both in normal mode, and at breakage of diodes in rectifier is carried out. The influence of the inductance of the generator winding on the value of voltage pulsations is estimated. The conclusion is made about the significant advantage of closed windings over open from the point of view of ripples of the rectified voltage.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123972354","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modified information transfer relations and mapping of communication channels between an autonomous vehicle and other assets are presented. A characteristic of asset deviation that allows total security graph mapping to an effective local security graph is defined. The asset deviation takes into account both physical path length and “information distance” between the assets. An approach for the calculation of asset deviation is presented. A practical example of a cybersecurity architecture analysis of asset integrity for a system of autonomous vehicles in a smart enterprise environment is provided.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124685474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The dependences of the total losses of the electric drive on the values of moment of inertia are obtained. It is shown that the implemented flywheel system could provide the reduction of energy losses in case of heavy load chart. Such devices are practically inertiafree, and provide high reliability of flame detection in gas boiler installations in order to ensure the safety of fuel combustion. An inexpensive solution to the problem of designing flame sensors based on the flame ionization current and operating at a voltage of 12V is proposed. It is shown that the output signal of the ionization sensor depends both on the location of the sensor relative to the boundaries of the flame and on the supply voltage. For example, the greatest load per hour of intensive traffic in the presence of increased weight trains can exceed the average daily load by 2-3 times or even more. Ambient temperature also varies widely. When designing traction substations, the transformer rated power level is selected lower than the maximum daily or hourly power to ensure its best use, taking into account its overload at various time periods. A condition for systematic overloads and increased load is the preservation of the transformer insulation standard service life. Under the influence of temperature and a number of other factors, the physicochemical properties of solid insulation undergo changes over time, which causes the insulation brittleness. During the irreversible process of aging, the electrical strength of the insulation almost does not decrease, but after a certain time, it becomes unable to withstand mechanical stresses from vibrations or short circuits. The aging rate depends on temperature, and the achieved degree of aging depends on the temperature and time of exposure. Moisture, atmospheric oxygen, and other factors also affect the rate and achieved degree of aging of insulation, the strict accounting of which is not possible. The transformer effective service life is largely dependent on impacts such as overvoltages, short circuits in the network and emergency overloads. The load and/or temperature of the cooling medium exceeding the rated values cause accelerated wear of the transformer and are the main risk factors.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130349261","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the most part, this situation occurs with deep speed control of the electric machine. The acceptable range of rotor speed is important for variable-speed drives. For the most part, the upper limit of this speed is associated with the acceptable levels of stator winding temperature. The known formulas for calculating temperature exceedance mainly use named units, which limit their application. The paper derives the formula to calculate temperature exceedance in relative units to account for the load, insulation class, and ambient temperature. The bottom line is to reduce the relative rotor speed to 0.7 for most agricultural electric drives. The use of the proposed methodology for determining the allowable reduction in speed of electric motors of pumping units will allow increasing the service life of electric machines.","PeriodicalId":285590,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Industrial Engineering, Applications and Manufacturing (ICIEAM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129869168","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
