Modeling of A Small-Sized Distance Current Transducer
This paper presents modeling of the picture of magnetic and electric fields of a measuring current transducer (MCT). We consider any transducer that is not connected directly to the measured current, but is located at a distance from the conductor, as an MCT. Due to this, such an MCT does not require an increased class insulation. The paper investigates the distribution of the magnetic field in the MCT magnetic current under the influence of the main current and the current that causes additional noise in the output signal. The mathematical model for obtaining the secondary MCT signal is described as well. The conclusion is drawn about the possibility of using a small-sized transducer for relay protection and automation.
