The formation of microemulsions as confined reaction media to the synthesis involves the combination of emu oil, zinc acetate, and sodium hydroxide as precipitating agent. To reach the thermodynamic stability and find the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of the microemulsions, Span-Tween 80 was used. Synthesized zinc oxide powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy transmission. ZnO powders presented a hexagonal wurtzite structure. Although, there are infrequent broadcasted theory results of PD controller in connection to structural vibration control applications. In this paper, we analyze the stability of the active vibration control system for both the linear model and nonlinear model of building structures under bidirectional seismic excitation taking into consideration lateral-torsional vibrations. We state comprehensive sufficient conditions for choosing the PD gains. The stability theories are verified through numerical simulations and a two-storey building prototype. In this work, influence of reaction time on CIGSe particle synthesis was investigated using XRD, Raman, FESEM and EDAX analysis. Structural analysis showed more Ga incorporation at reaction time of 4h. FESEM micrographs depicted that the morphology of particles were hexagonal as well as irregular plate like shapes with size ranging from 200 to 500 nm as the reaction time increases. The proposed controller is based on the 3D linear inverted pendulum walking pattern generation, and is designed to be triggered only if disturbance signals are detected. The films were deposited by RF discharge in argon/oxygen atmosphere with a RF power W = 150 W at substrate temperature T = 175° C and pressure P = 6 mTorrs. Photoelectric parameters of fabricated ITO films were characterized by four-point probe method and transmittance measurements. It was found that reducing oxygen concentration the sheet resistance decreases. For samples fabricated in oxygen atmosphere the transmittance reached values above 90 %. However, the sample with post-deposition thermal treatment at T = 300 °C in oxygen atmosphere shows the best transmittance (95 %) and lowest value of sheet resistance (Rs= 27 ohms-square). Finally, the transparent conducting oxides were applied in hybrid organic-inorganic photovoltaic structures. Since isolation of the stimulus is not always practical it is desirable to study P300 when the subjects are receiving stimuli in other senses besides sight. Thus this paper tested the subjects in a silent environment and adding affective noise as catalogued by the Affective Digitised Sound database. The resulting EEG recordings were analysed and found that isolated P300 features increased (p<;0.05), but features that related it to the neighbourhood decreased (p<;0.05) making it more difficult to identify in half of the subjects. A point-to-point topology was studied in this work, consisting of a master and a slave buffer, package, and two transmission lines with a series resistor on the PCB. The considered response for the system was the flight time of digital signals coming out of the buffers. To lessen computational resources during optimization processes, surrogate models were obtained using design of experiments. To choose the active factors for the response, screening experiments were done. Then, to build the surrogate model face-centered and rotatable central composite designs for both the master and slave signals were compared in terms of model fit, with a 15% maximum error. The surrogate models were used to represent a Serial Peripheral Interface, which is a synchronous bus, and requires a timing analysis to assess the maximum allowed length of the routing. A Nelder-Mead algorithm with penalty functions was used to optimize the transmission lines lengths, while maintaining the timing margins equal to or larger than zero. Optimal lengths were validated using SPICE. The effect of three temperatures closed to the ambient (25, 40 and 55 °C) and three HS-/Zn(OH)42- ion concentration ratios (1, 1.5 and 2) on the growth and physical properties of the deposited ZnS was investigated. The species distribution diagrams and solubility curves obtained at these conditions are the key for determining the best conditions. Thus, conditions for obtaining high quality ZnS films by chemical bath deposition technique are reported. The importance of this problem with the performance degradation on commercial IC designs, such as Physical Unclonable Functions (PUF) and Ring Oscillator (RO), which are key elements on security applications, is emphasized. A physical interpretation of this phenomenon is provided along with a brief description of the model's evolution, commonly used to simulate the degradation of transistor's parameters at high temperature and voltage supply conditions. The relative gas phase Ge concentration was varied from [Ge]<sub>gas</sub>= 50 % to 100 %. The electronic properties of the films were studied by the measurements of temperature dependence of dark conductivity σ<sub>dark</sub> (T) in the range of T= 300 to 430 K. The temperature dependence curves were described by the thermal activated conduction model and activation energy and Fermi level parameters were calculated. A change in dark conductivity was found from 1.7×10<sup>-6</sup> Ω<sup>-1</sup>cm<sup>-1</sup> at [Ge]<sub>gas</sub>= 50 % to 1.1×10<sup>-4</sup> Ω<sup>-1</sup>cm<sup>-1</sup> at [Ge]<sub>gas</sub> =100 %.
