This cryptosystem allows to use the advantages of block cyphers in color images, these features permits us to encrypt messages as large as images without the need of keys bigger than the transmitted data, this is achieved by using the synchronization of two chaotic oscillators and fractals such as Julia sets. Two different receivers will be presented; the first one is an exponential polynomial observer and the second is a reconstruction of the states based on the properties of Liouvillian systems, the latter retaining the same security features but with a more simple implementation and faster encryption and decryption times.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129077214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

New methods for signal processing have appeared, but not all of them apply to non-linear and non-stationary processes such like myolectric signals. To perform a real-time analysis over these signals is important to simplify the processing and reduce time computing. Using the Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) method were obtained the Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs) for a multichannel signal to filter, discard and identify characteristics. sEMG signals were acquired using NI-DAQ system with four differential inputs for four forearm muscles. Seven hand movements were considered, that signals were recorded into a 4 × 20480 matrices in 1000 records. These records were divided in three segments: doss, transitory and contraction; through EMD method we obtained their IMFs to analyze with Hilbert transform. Results will be considered to simplify the sEMG signal for real-time analysis to control a prosthetic device.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124108414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The behavior of the threshold voltage, mobility factor and saturation coefficient is analyzed as function of temperature. It is shown that, using the Unified Model and Extracted Method (UMEM), the output characteristics of the devices in the linear region can be well modeled at different temperatures. This is done determining the extracted model parameters at 300 K and taking into account the law of variation with temperature for each parameter, corresponding to the specific fabrication technology of the devices. In the saturation region, an abnormal reduction of the drain current is observed. This effect has to be further studied and the representation of its behavior incorporated to the model.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128145030","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper develops a distributed unbiased finite impulse response (UFIR) filter based on average consensus as a more robust alternative to the Kalman filter (KF). Unlike the distributed KF, the distributed UFIR filter typically requires only one consensus filter and completely ignores the noise statistics and initial values. As an example, we consider a vehicle travelling along a circular trajectory under unpredictable impacts and errors in the noise statistics. Better performance of the UFIR filter is demonstrated under diverse operation conditions.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"142 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133875695","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we present a system for automated detecting of MAs based with the techniques Hessian matrix and contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE). Thus, features extraction as optical disc, vascular tree and other pathologies for reducing false positives (FP). To evaluate the detection system MAs, we examined 81 color fundus images, classified by conditions and compared with fluorescence images, these are angiograms. The system provides a sensitivity of 15-24% in the phase of mild no proliferative diabetic retinopathy (DR) while in the phase of moderate no proliferative DR gave 10% sensitivity, in both phases the system detects more than 30 as candidates MAs. In healthy patients gives an average of 6 FP per image and patients with other diseases without DR less than 20 FP per image. Demonstrating that the system can work within different conditions, having a difference in results both in patients without DR as with DR, it which could be used in the early detection of disease.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129955231","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this method, the neural network's cost function is composed of the cross entropy of the neural network's expected output and actual output and Renyi's entropy of the hidden node's output. This does not require the learning samples to obey the Gauss distribution. In the learning processing, the bumber of the hidden neurons is dynamically adjusted by splitting the most active hidden neurons and removing the least active hidden neurons. This approach can improve the neural network's dynamic response ability and can solve the problem of self-organizing architecture design of the feedforward neural network. The proposed method is applied to online modeling of ammonia nitrogen in tahe wastewater treatment process based on actual operating data. The experiment illustrates the dynamic response capability and the online learning capacity of the neural network.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129164618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The non-linear voltage-current relation in memristors is often seen as a problem, necessitating complex circuits and methods for a reliable write-in. In this paper, we take advantage of this phenomenon for storing more than one bit of information in a single memristor using digital bit streams. First, we demonstrate how two bits of information can be stored and read back from a single memristor unit. Then, we propose encoding schemes that can enhance the reliability of digitally writing two and three bits of data in a single memristor. To verify the reliability of this method for multi-bit data storage, we have run simulations based on the most prominent simulation models available.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125456884","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their typical size is about 1 mm, which is why it is difficult to detect for an expert. Therefore, a tool that eases their visualization becomes relevant. Segmentation gives the candidate areas that could contain microcalcifications. A preprocessing step can improve segmentation performance but the algorithm becomes database dependent. This paper compares four commonly used thresholding techniques to segment mammography images having sections divided in three groups: obvious, subtle and clusters; due to their microcalcification contents. The purpose of this paper is to show what technique has a better performance in special relation with mammography images. Best performers are Entropy (68.8%), and Intermodes (50.9%), but further research is needed to improve performance on subtle and cluster microcalcifications considering non-bimodal histograms.","PeriodicalId":285464,"journal":{"name":"2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123154611","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
