Abstract

In this paper we propose the use of chaotic systems on a master-slave scheme for secure communications. This cryptosystem allows to use the advantages of block cyphers in color images, these features permits us to encrypt messages as large as images without the need of keys bigger than the transmitted data, this is achieved by using the synchronization of two chaotic oscillators and fractals such as Julia sets.
