Устинова","doi":"10.37724/rsu.2023.65.2.008","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.37724/rsu.2023.65.2.008","url":null,"abstract":"Основная цель статьи – предложить некоторые существенные параметры анализа текста на исходном языке и языке перевода (с английского языка на русский и с русского на английский) как пути к развитию чувства слова, к созданию собственных переводов на ином материале. Актуальность исследования мы видим во всепроникающем характере поэтической функции языка: способность подобрать точное, выразительное слово нужна в разных видах дискурса, и обучать этому можно на материале поэзии, учитывая смысловую емкость и текстуальную уместность каждой единицы текста. Новизна исследования состоит в следующем: во-первых, в статье предлагается (на ряде примеров) использовать переводы, выполненные преподавателем, обучающим студентов художественному переводу, что позволяет сопоставить черновик(и) с окончательным вариантом на предмет соответствия «голосу» поэта, естественности звучания перевода, наличия опущений и добавлений и степени их правомерности и т. д. В этих условиях студент становится объективным критиком, способным обосновать удачность или неудачность конкретного переводческого решения. Во-вторых, доказывается важность семы как единицы текстуального смысла, которая может выражаться с помощью иного лексического носителя, что позволяет объективнее оценивать функциональную адекватность конкретного перевода.\u0000 The aim of the paper is to outline some of the significant parameters for analysing poems and their translation (both from and into the foreign language) as a step towards raising translation competence and enabling students to venture their own translation of poetry. The topicality of our research proceeds from the all-pervading nature of the poetic function of language: a translator’s skill of looking for the most precise, expressive, and compact form of rendering the message is equally indispensable in any kind of discourse. The approach suggested can be useful for teachers of translation if they themselves practice translation of fiction or poetry. Sharing the results of one’s own efforts with the students gives the teacher an opportunity to teach them to compare the rough copies with the final draft and account for discarding the rough copy. Or the students can be asked to decide which of the versions was accepted by the translator as the final, or offer constructive, well-grounded criticism of either version or even suggest their own alterations. Thus, students learn to estimate the semantic capacity and the choice of every word as a textual unit, the euphony of translation, the observance of rhythm; they detect addition or deletion and justify or condemn them. Besides, they learn that relevant semantic features, seemingly lost in translation, may re-emerge in a different word. — in fact, even in a different part of speech. {"title":"The philosophic background of poetic works and its implementation in the poetic detail","authors":"Я.М. Новизна подхода состоит в интегративном учете композиционных и риторических характеристик, таких как: (1) способы организации деталей, создающих образную систему стихотворения; (2) взаимодействие внешней и внутренней фокализации; (3) архитектоника стихотворения с точки зрения коммуникативных блоков. В статье доказывается, что художественная деталь рождается не только из фактических (наблюдаемых) подробностей, но и из их метафорического представления, и что оба типа деталей работают либо по принципу аккумуляции, либо по принципу сильной позиции. В статье также доказывается, что членение поэтического текста на уравновешенные блоки предполагает относительное равенство не по длине, а по емкости содержания. Исследование выполнено на материале преимущественно (но не только) отечественной поэзии. Все приведенные художественные переводы принадлежат автору статьи.\u0000 The paper aims at revealing some of the significant characteristic features of the genre traditionally alluded to as philosophic poetry. The originality of our approach consists in treating the issue from the viewpoint of both compositional and rhetorical peculiarities, namely: (a) the arrangement of details accounting for the poem’s system of imagery; (b) interaction of internal and external focalization; and (c) the structure of the poem in terms of the discourse blocks and their interconnection. The paper seeks to prove that a poetic detail may have its origin in an observable factual detail, as well as in a metaphor, and that the total effect depends either on the accumulation of details or on placing the only poetic detail (whether factual or metaphorical) in a prominent position. The paper also argues that the subdivision of the whole text into balanced discourse blocks proceeds from their relative significance rather than from their approximate equality in length. The research is based largely (but not completely) on Russian poetry. В основу положены критерии, выделенные в классификациях изучаемой группы слов. Ведущими критериями выбраны структура и состав прозвища (количество и семантика компонентов), общая семантика (характерные черты называемого), количество называемых, характер эмоциональной оценки. Учет данных критериев позволил увидеть, что состав и структура прозвища, так же как и общая семантика, являются показателем того, как устанавливается отношение прозвища к внеязыковой действительности. Показано, что референтная соотнесенность прозвища часто имеет разветвленную структуру, что требует учета многих факторов. Все компоненты прозвища участвуют в сложном механизме создания необходимого образа называемого, формируя сложные связи и отсылки к некоторым объектам действительности, выстраивая референтные цепочки, которые считываются воспринимающими. Исследование проводится с использованием методики, совмещающей семный анализ, разработанный Ф. Растье, и подход к значению слова с позиций теории знака. В качестве языкового материала для анализа выбраны прозвища французских королей и ведущих политиков.\u0000 The article deals with referent relations of nicknames. It is based on the criteria which are singled out in the classifications of the studied group of words. These criteria are: structure and composition of the nickname (number and semantics of the components), general semantics (characteristic features of the named), the number of names, the nature of emotional evaluation. Consideration of these criteria allowed us to see that the composition and structure of the nickname, as well as the general semantics, are an indicator of how the attitude of the nickname to extra-linguistic reality is established. It has been shown that the referential relatedness of a nickname often has a branched structure, which requires consideration of many factors. All components of the nickname participate in a complex mechanism of creating the necessary image of the named, forming complex using a methodology that combines semantic analysis developed by F. Rastier and an approach to word meaning from the standpoint of sign theory. Однако отражение поэтического наследия Есенина в новой деревенской поэзии Китая начала 90-х годов XX века пока не полностью изучено. В связи с тем, что современная китайская поэзия обладает жанровым и стилистическим разнообразием, авторы статьи предприняли попытку перевести пять стихотворений посредством верлибра — стиха со свободной рифмой, то есть как с рифмой, так и без нее. Актуальность предлагаемого исследования обусловлена необходимостью осмысления практических путей перевода современной новодеревенской поэзии на русский язык.\u0000 Both Chinese and Russian scholars studied the influence of Sergei Yesenin’s poetic heritage on Chinese poetry ingeneral and the works of Hai Zi, in particular. Yet little attention has been so far given to the spiritual connection between Yesenin’s poetic world vision and that of the modern representatives of the so-called “rustic” poetry. The paper traces the influence of Yesenin on the inherent qualities of modern “rustic” Chinese poetry — on its thematic scope, imagery, tonality. Since modern Chinese poetry is characterized by genre and style variations, the paper offers five vers libre translations of well-known contemporary Chinese poets. Новизна исследования состоит как в выборе объекта — многокомпонентного медицинского термина, так и в определении теоретической базы. Использование психосистематики, занимающейся изучением механизмов языковых единиц и их употребления в речи, дало возможность определить платформу для сопоставительного исследования многокомпонентных медицинских терминов в латинском, русском, немецком, французском языках. В этом качестве выступает понятие инциденции как мыслительного механизма, устанавливающего содержание и структуру медицинского термина (определяемое — определяющее), обеспечивающего перевод медицинского термина с латинского языка. Рассмотрение словосочетания как воспроизводящего движение мысли позволило увидеть существительное в процессе субстантивации и определить его как опору (объект мысли) для части речи, прилагательного или имени существительного в генитиве, несущего вклад значения (признак) к опоре. Исследованы следующие типы многокомпонентных латинских терминов и их переводы: 1) трехкомпонентные термины-словосочетания, репрезентирующие опору и вклад значения, выраженный прилагательными; 2) трехкомпонентные термины-словосочетания, репрезентирующие опору и вклад значения, выраженный именем существительным в генитиве и прилагательным; 3) четырехкомпонентные термины-словосочетания, репрезентирующие опору (первые два компонента) и вклад значения к опоре (вторые два компонента).\u0000 The paper considers the study of the medical term-phrase. The novelty of the research lies both in the choice of the object, a multi-component medical term, and in the definition of a theoretical base. The use of psychosystematics, which studies the mechanisms of language units and their employment in speech, made it possible to identify a platform for a comparative study of multi-component medical terms in Latin, Russian, German, and French. In that capacity, the concept of the incident was considered as the mechanism of thought that determines the content and the structure of a medical term, the signified — the signifier, providing for translating a medical term from Latin. The phrase as representing the movement of thought made it possible to consider the noun in the process of the substantiation and define it as the support (the object of thought) for the part of speech, the adjective or the noun in the genitive case that contributes the meaning (sign) to the support. В статье на примере фрагментов художественных произведений автор рассматривает феномен интонации и образующей ее паузы, которая не только поддерживает ритм, но и обеспечивает единство формы и содержания, а значит, и реализацию поэтической функции. Декодирование имплицитного смысла формальных и содержательных пауз принципиально важно для переводчика, так как позволяет подобрать способы их выражения на языке перевода.\u0000 The intonation of prose is realized first and foremost due to the expressiveness of syntax and pausation, which acquires a semantic function in a literary text. The article focuses on the phenomenon of intonation and pausation as an inseparable component of it, responsible for creating rhythm and form-content fusion. With this in view, the author of the article analyses severalexamples to show the realization of the poetic function via a pause in the text. Установлено, что большую жестовую интенсивность демонстрируют актеры-персонажи в телеспектаклях комедийного жанра.\u0000 The article manifests gesture activity data in oral drama discourse based on the examples of oral comedy and non-comedy genres taken from the staged screen versions of contemporary Russian playwrights’ works. Theoretical novelty in the carried-out research comprises the activity of co-speech gestures in the two genres to determine the role of gestural behaviour in creating (non)comic effect of the staged play. В имеющихся работах, посвященных топонимам Шотландии, основное внимание уделяется национально-культурному компоненту в их значениях и проблеме принадлежности к германским или кельтским языкам. Актуальность предпринятого исследования продиктована потребностью в изучении зависимости содержания топонима от его структуры и смыслов структурных элементов. Цель работы заключается в раскрытии характера связи между апеллятивом и мотивирующей лексемой в двухсоставной модели топонима и в определении наличия или отсутствия изменений семантики названия географического объекта в случае односоставного топонима. Исследование сфокусировано на топонимах с апеллятивами borgи dun. В работе использованы лексикографический поиск топонимических единиц, этимологический и историко-культурный анализ. Результаты исследования свидетельствуют о том, что в состав рассмотренных топонимов входили переосмысленные апеллятивы, подвергшиеся метонимическому сдвигу. Мотивирующий признак проанализированных топонимических единиц характеризовал отношение места к человеку. Со структурной точки зрения мотивирующая лексема занимает первое место в двухсложных топонимах с borg и второе — в двухсложных топонимах с dun.\u0000 Contemporary toponymic research accepts a conventional understanding of a toponym as a language unit and as a knowledge structure, that accommodates various historical, social and cultural information. So far papers on toponyms of Scotland have dwelt upon national and cultural peculiarities of these linguistic units and their etymology. Now it is evident that toponymic research has to be supplemented with the study of the interrelation between the structure and the meaning of a toponym and with the analysis of the interconnection between the senses of its structural components. The article aims at establishing the link between appellatives and qualifying elements within the two-element structure and revealing the presence or absence of semantic shifts in appellatives in case of one-word structure. The research is focused on place-names with borgand dun which are studied with the help of lexicographic, etymological, historical and cultural analysis. The research results show that appellatives in the place-names under study underwent a metonymic change, and modifying elements exhibited the relation of a place to a person. Гастронимы (названия еды) в процессе исторического развития общества занимают важное место в материальной и духовной культуре человечества. Статья посвящена этнокультурным способам объективации китайских гастронимов как отражения опыта восприятия и осмысления геофизического пространства в процессе взаимодействия человека и его природной среды обитания. Авторы раскрывают причины появления омонимии в китайских гастрономических терминах. Впервые гастронимы рассматриваются как показатель особенностей национального менталитета, психологического склада нации. Проведенное исследование доказывает, что для понимания мотива именования или переименования гастронима необходимо знание не только китайского языка и кулинарных традиций, но и китайского быта, народно-обря-довых праздников, истории и культуры Китая в целом. Данный ареал исследования ранее не изучался в российской и китайской науке в лингвокультурологическом и ономасиологическом аспектах. Материал исследования углубляет и дополняет исторические, этнографические и лингвокультурные сведения о Китае. Авторы выявили следующие факторы, повлиявшие на развитие омонимии китайских гастронимов: 1) внешние — суеверия, связанные с избеганием в речи слов, вызывающих негативные ассоциации, и заменой их синонимами с положительной коннотацией; 2) внутренние — фонетическая организация слова и морфологические особенности китайского языка. Исследование показывает, что китайские гастронимы содержат глубокий пласт фоновых знаний, связанных с национальной культурой, национальным менталитетом, они хорошо известны и понятны носителям языка и культуры и, безусловно, отсутствуют у иностранцев. Исследование омонимии китайских гастронимов позволяет обратиться к национальной вербально-ассоциативной сети как к источнику культурологического, социально-исторического и ценностного фона тезаурусного уровня коллективной языковой личности. Китайская кухня — уникальное явление в истории человечества. Современные межнациональные культурно-языковые контакты требуют знания и соблюдения этикетных правил поведения с представителями другой культуры, перцептивную способность постигать иную ментальность и осмысливать информацию, затрагивающую любые стороны жизни носителей языка. Проведенное исследование выполнено в русле данных направлений научного поиска.\u0000 The article considers the homonymic paradigm of Chinese gastronyms as one of the semantic universals. Gastronyms (food names) in the process of the historical development of society occupy an important place in the material and spiritual culture of mankind. Актуальность исследования обусловлена необходимостью систематизировать опыт, накопленный китайскими учеными в данной области. Новизна заключается в выявлении подходов китайской лингвистики к определению категории эвиденциальности, ее статусу и видам. Цель статьи — определение своеобразия понятийно-терминологического аппарата категории эвиденциальности в китайской научной традиции. В результате обзорного исследования научных работ китайских ученых рассмотрено терминологическое разнообразие номинаций категории эвиденциальности, которое во многом обусловлено историей изучения категории и спецификой китайского языка, обобщены трактовки ее категориального статуса и установлены виды эвиденциальных значений. В статье делается вывод, что на современном этапе в китайской науке в целом сформирован понятийно-терминологический аппарат категории эвиденциальности, но вопросы, связанные с типологией ее видов, до настоящего времени носят полемический характер. Намечены перспективы дальнейшего исследования, которые видятся в изучении категории эвиденциальности китайского языка в дискурсивном пространстве.\u0000 The present research is concerned with the study of the evidentiality category in Chinese linguistics. The relevance of the study stems from the need to systematize the accumulated experience of Chinese scholars in this field. The novelty lies in identifying the approaches of Chinese linguistics to the definition of the category of evidentiality, its status and types. The aim of the article is to determine the peculiarity of the concepts and terminology of the evidentiality category in the Chinese scientific tradition. The survey research of scientific works of Chinese scholars showed the terminological diversity of the evidentiality category nominations, which is largely due to the history of its study and the specificity of the Chinese language. The author summarized the interpretations of its categorical status and identified types of evidentiality meanings. The article concludes that the Chinese science at the present stage, in general, has formed the concepts and terminology of the evidentiality category, but the issues related to the typology are so far polemical in nature.
