The film was deposited on Si (100) substrates. The magnetic properties (coercivity) were measured by a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The electrical resistivity (p) of the thin film was determined by means of a four-point probe method. The film structures were investigated by X-ray diffractometry (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).","PeriodicalId":262607,"journal":{"name":"INTERMAG 2006 - IEEE International Magnetics Conference","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117245737","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Both Co2FeSi and Co2MnSi heusler alloys have half-metallic band structure and high Curie temperature of 1200K and 985K, respectively. Moreover, the lattice mismatch between the Heusler alloys and MgO barrier is relatively small, which indicates that the highly textured Heusler alloys can be grown on the MgO barrier. In addition, it could be noted that spin-fluctuation at finite temperature can reduce spin-polarization of Heusler alloys even though the MgO/Heusler alloys is ideal HMFs at low temperature.","PeriodicalId":262607,"journal":{"name":"INTERMAG 2006 - IEEE International Magnetics Conference","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127332200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here we describe the principle and procedure we used to infer HKS from measurement. The result on HKS using 1st and.3rd signal harmonics is discussed and rechecked with that using 1st and 5th harmonics. The effect of head surface potential change due to the HKS variation. As the head media spacing (HMS) and thus HKS is reduced with increased areal density, its impact on system performance will be more significant. Thus, the measurement of HKS is important.","PeriodicalId":262607,"journal":{"name":"INTERMAG 2006 - IEEE International Magnetics Conference","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127496025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
