This method depends on the varying of switch-on angle of motor phase current. The phase current and torque for the proposed method are discussed. The operation of brushless direct current motor drive at different switch-on angle for the same speed is studied and discussed. The results of this study show that the improved performance characteristics of brushless direct current motor by advancing the switching-on angle, can successfully achieve high-speed and a noticeable reduction in torque ripple.","PeriodicalId":262452,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126517838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Analog-to-digital conversion inevitably produces errors in the process of data measurement, transformation and data processing. It is shown that appliance of fast wavelet algorithms leads to fundamental improvement of effectiveness and increases calculation speed of both according to hardware requirements and minimizing sampling error. Frequency bands analysis showed that for regular signal identification it is not necessary to use complete wavelet decomposition. Usage of lower sampling frequency is enough for accurate signal detection by means of wavelet processing.","PeriodicalId":262452,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126551299","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Besides investments made by authorities to better train referees, it is becoming more and more necessary to automatize the game arbitration processes. For amateur games with no referee, there is also a need for an automation system to replace the referee. One of the popular games is table tennis played both at amateur and professional levels. In this study, a table-tennis automatic scoreboarding system is designed and implemented. The designed automation system uses a computer which receives the necessary signals from vibration sensors, makes right decisions according to the rules and controls the peripheral devices such as displays and speakers. This system assists referees to make better decisions in professional games and performs missions of referees in amateur games.","PeriodicalId":262452,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127826974","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this study is to investigate the usability of perlite coated polyester fabric to see the thermal insulation applications. Polyester nonwoven with 180g/m2 weight was coated with four different particle size perlite stone powders. The expanded perlite grinded into small particle size and then sifted to obtain 600-1200 μm, 210-590μm, 120-170μm and 0-120μm sized perlite powder. The amount of perlite powder was the same for all samples used on this study. Before coating process the polyester nonwoven was applied to water repellency treatment and then polyurethane based coating material was applied onto samples together with perlite powder. After coating process the samples were processed at 100°C for 10 mins. As a result, it was observed that the thermal coefficient increases with decreasing particle size of perlite. One of the major purpose of this study is to reduce the greenhouse gases such as CO2 emission leading to cause low heating sources on habitants.","PeriodicalId":262452,"journal":{"name":"2016 IEEE NW Russia Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Conference (EIConRusNW)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133466410","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
