The specifics of the situation that arose in society during the pandemic period require studying the psychological characteristics of the relationship between the management style of the head of teachers of a preschool educational organization with the personal characteristics of employees and the sociopsychological climate. The relevance of the analysis of the management style of a preschool educational organization during the pandemic is caused by the attention of the parent community to the high-quality educational process carried out in preschool educational organizations. The article presents the results of a study of the teacher’s personal characteristics in the context of the introduction of innovative work forms during the pandemic, taking into account the principles and model of federal educational standards of preschool education. The factors affecting the psychological climate in the team are described. The results of the level of satisfaction with their work before and after conducting psychological training with employees of an educational institution are presented. Psychological and pedagogical recommendations are given for creating an optimal climate and atmosphere of psychological security during the modernization of the educational system and the transition to alternative forms of education associated with the unique situation of a pandemic and self-isolation.","PeriodicalId":253464,"journal":{"name":"RSUH/RGGU Bulletin. Communication in a foreign language (hereinafter referred to as FL) taking place at press conferences, summits, international forums and trade fairs involves interaction with native speakers from various states, which leads to linguocultural penetration into their mentality, the world of their feelings, their culture and history. Mastering a FL is a kind of a guiding paths leading to the achievement of mutual understanding and beneficial cooperation among different nations in all areas of modern life. The analysis of pedagogical activity in the course of teach- ing a FL implies the focus on such elements of the teaching process, which can answer three key questions that each teacher faces: what is the matter of the subject, what techniques to use and what is the purpose of teaching. The article briefly describes the system of principles and techniques used in both conventional and intensive teaching methods. The article concentrates on the intensification of learning via modern electronic devices and resources that students use for doing their homework. The development of linguocultural competence of students means that the teacher is expected to have a high level of communicative culture, which acts as a methodological and didactic basis for students to master the required professional level of a FL.","PeriodicalId":253464,"journal":{"name":"RSUH/RGGU Bulletin. This type of educating implies getting knowledge in the sphere of future profession (“History of World Art” subject in particular) concurrently with studying a foreign language. Here the foreign language is considered to be a means of education but not a purpose of it. Many advantages of this technique usage are evident: it is more natural way of communication, which helps to realize the peculiarities of the other culture, to solve professionally-oriented cases, to navigate in the information and communication space. Specialists-to-be in the field of Art History acquire and improve the skills of foreign language communication while working with the educational materials which allow them to be confident in using these skills in the professional sphere. The practice of using Content and Language Integrated Learning is analyzed by the example of the “New Insights into Art History: from Prehistoric to Medieval” course book. Basing on the knowledge acquired while working thoroughly with the authentic texts and video resources, students do their case-studies in the particular field and it allows them to work like using the foreign language in the real professional atmosphere.","PeriodicalId":253464,"journal":{"name":"RSUH/RGGU Bulletin. The authors analyze the current situation in the existing large non-linguistic universities of our country and determine the basic requirements of the present time for the competence of the manager; clarify the concept of intercultural competence. The article also provides some evidence for the status of a foreign language in the development of intercultural competence of the student. The article also uses the principles of developing courses for intercultural communication for future managers, enveloping the principles of personality-activity orientation, communicative orientation, professional orientation, the principle of multiculturalism, integration and the principle of relative openness. The principles are based on the main vectors of developing courses on intercultural communication for students of management departments. They are the use of four-dimensional models of the educational process, the analysis of the educational needs of students, teachers and employers, as well as the use of the pyramid of academic benefit. One of the additional arguments in favor of revising the degree of importance of independent work, nominated by the author, is the current tense situation in the world associated with the spread of the virus and the closure of many educational institutions. Given the personality characteristics of modern generations of students, the author sees the possibility of expanded use of the game technology as an effective educational tool that qualitatively complements the educational process. According to the author, independent work can become an autonomous full-fledged element of the curriculum. The educational process, which is based on modular technology of the game, involves three stages for the implementation of each module. The first – intramural stage – is an introduction to the topic, motivation and instruction with the distribution of individual tasks to students. The second – the remote stage – is built mainly on the independent work of students with elements of remote interaction with the teacher and among themselves. The third – intramural stage – takes place in the format of a role-playing game, during which students demonstrate in a fascinating way the results of their independent work, combine them into a single intellectual product. To secondary texts we refer such texts as translations, abstracts, comments, adaptations, interpretations, etc. The author emphasizes the interdisciplinary character of the problem, investigates the main features of the secondary texts as well as the model of their genesis. The article gives an analysis of such texts as translation which were earlier considered as secondary texts, but at the present time researchers are inclined to think that translation texts is a phenomenon which combines characteristics of both secondary and primary texts. It is very important, that there is no unique understanding of the text, because every reader who tries to grasp it, constructs the meanings of the text according to his own personality and conveys them further through his secondary texts. Research in the field of secondary texts is of paramount importance not only for linguistics, translation studies and other branches of science, but also for the practice of teaching a foreign language while preparing analytical and creative assignments at different stages of education process. It relates the main provisions of the pedagogical technology of inverted learning, the didactic presumption of which is the transfer of the initial stages of mastering a new material to prelimi- nary independent work while using the class time for practical application of the acquired knowledge and creative activity at higher levels of the cognitive process. The philosophical principles of inverted learning are most clearly manifest- ed in the teacher-student synergetic tandem in the mainstream of humanistic pedagogy, consonant with Kant’s transcendentalism, which flips the idea of a passive subject and accentuates the active construct of cognition. As research methods the author chooses the analysis of various practices of working with English-language media content; examples are used to trace the efficacy of applying the flipped learning modus in the course of professionally oriented English for students of economics. The approbation work with video lectures results in analyzing causes of success and failure in employing elements of the flipped teaching technology, together with pros and cons that it can bring to teachers and students.
