Materi yang digunakan 12 ekor babi berumur antara 1-3 bulan dan dengan berat badan awal berkisar antara 5,35 sampai 14,55 kg (KV = 31,67%) dan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan meliputi R0: diet basal R1: diet basal ditambah 5% tepung daun singkong fermentasi, R2: diet basal ditambah 5% tepung daun ubi jalar fermentasi, dan R3: diet basal ditambah 5% tepung daun kelor fermentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P<0,05) terhadap variabel yang diteliti. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian ransum suplementasi jenis dedaunan terfermentasi pada ternak babi mampu meningkatkan kecernaan serat kasar dan lemak kasar, akan tetapi belum mampu meningkatkan konsumsi serat kasar dan lemak kasar.\u0000The purpose of this study was to determine the intake and digestibility of crude fiber,and crude fat, of pigs fed fermented leafa ration supplementation. Material used were12 pigs aged between 1-3 months and with initial body weight ranging from 5.35 to 14.55 kg (KV = 31.67%) and Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments included R0: basal diet, R1: basal diet plus 5% fermented cassava leaf flour, R2: basal diet plus 5% fermented sweet potato leaf flour, and R3: basal diet plus 5% fermented moringa leaf flour. The results of this study showed no significant effect (P<0.05) on the variables studied. Ternak percobaan digunakan 12 ekor cempe jantan peranakan Etawah dengan bobot badan 6,56-12,06kg, umur 4-5 bulan (CV 20,55%). Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan empat perlakuan dan tiga ulangan digunakan sebagai rancangan percobaan. Perlakuan yang diterapkan adalah persentase daun katuk dalam konsentrat dan tambahan biokompleks yaitu (P0) : tanpa tepung daun katuk, (P1) : 5%, (P2) : 10%, dan (P3) : 15% tepung daun katuk. Variabel yang diukur adalah, konsumsi dan kecernaan bahan kering, dan bahan organik. Hasil analisis varians menunjukkan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang nyata (P>0,05) dari perlakuan terhadap yang. Rata-rata kisaran konsumsi bahan kering (g/e/h) 318,15 – 372, konsumsi bahan organik (g/e/h) 318,15 -334,48, kecernaan bahan kering (%) 67,69 - 77,09, kecernaan bahan organik (%) 71,28 - 79,93. Tepung daun katuk pada konsentrasi 5%, 10%, dan 15% dalam ransum tidak mempengaruhi konsumsi dan kecernaan bahan kering, bahan organik. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tepung daun katuk 5% menunjukkan kinerja konsumsi dan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organic tertinggi.\u0000The aim of this study was to test the ability of Etawah crossbreed males to consume and digest dry matter, organic matter supplements concentrate containing katuk leaf flour and Zn-biocomplex. The experimental cattle used 12 male Etawah crossbreeds with a body weight of 6.56-12.06kg, 4-5 months old (CV : 20.55%). A Randomized Competely Block Design with four treatments and three replications was used as the experimental design. The treatments applied were the percentage of katuk leaves in concentrate and biocomplex additions, namely P0: without katuk leaf flour, P1: 5%, P2: 10%, and P3: 15% katuk leaf flour. The variables measured were the consumption and digestibility of dry matter and organic matter. The results of the analysis of variance showed that there was no significant effect (P> 0.05) of the treatment on the variables with the average dry matter consumption (g/t/d) 345.23 - 372, organic matter consumption (g/t/d) ) 318.15 - 334.48, dry matter digestibility (%) 67.69 - 77.09 and organic matter digestibility (%) 71.28 - 79.93. Katuk leaf flour at concentrations of 5%, 10%, and 15% in the ration did not affect the consumption and digestibility of dry matter, organic matter. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diterapkan adalah, P0: Tepung tapioka 15%, P1: Tepung tapioka 10%+Tepung sorgum putih 5%, P2: Tepung tapioka 5%+Tepung sorgum putih 10%, P3: Tepung sorgum putih 15%. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis varians (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa tepung sorgum putih dan tepung tapioka tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel yang diteliti yaitu kadar amilosa, kadar amilopektin, kadar air, kadar protein dan Kekenyalan (P>0.05) pada sosis itik manila. Disimpulkan bahwa tepung sorgum putih dapat menggantikan tepung tapioka dalam pembuatan sosis itik manila, yang ditandai oleh kadar amilosa, kadar amilopektin, kadar air, kadar protein dan kekenyalan yang sama\u0000This research was conducted in order to find out the use of white sorghum flour (Sorghum bicolor L.Moench) as well as a substitute for tapioca flour regarding amylose content, Amylopectin content, water content, protein content duck sausage elasticity. In This study also used a completely randomized design (CRD) in which there were 4 treatmens and 3 replications. There were several parts of the treatment,namely P0:Tapioka flour 15%, P1:Tapioka flour 10%+White Sorhgum 5%, P2:Tapioka flour 5%+10% White Sorghum, P3:15% White Sorghum Flour. Penelitian ini menggunakan rumput Kume (Sorghum plumosum var. timorense), Suket putihan (Botriochloa pertusa) dan Tropikal kudzu (Pueraria phaseoloides). Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan yaitu Pp40= S. plumosum + B. pertusa + P. phaseoloides dipotong pada umur 40 hari, Pp60= S. plumosum + B. pertusa + P. phaseoloides dipotong pada umur 60 hari dan Pp80= S. plumosum + B. pertusa + P. phaseoloides dipotong pada umur 80 hari. Variabel yang diukur ialah produksi bahan kering, kandungan bahan organik, protein kasar, serat kasar dan bahan ekstrak tanpa nitrogen. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa pertanaman campuran Sorghum plumosum, Botriochloa pertusa dan Pueraria phaseoloides berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap produksi BK, kandungan SK, PK dan BETN serta berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kandungan BO. Disimpulkan bahwa pertanaman campuran Sorghum plumosum, Botriochloa pertusa dan Pueraria phaseoloides pada umur panen 80 hari menghasilkan produksi bahan kering, kandungan BO dan SK tertinggi namun menghasilkan kandungan PK dan BETN yang rendah. Umur panen terbaik pertanaman campuran yaitu pada umur 60 hari karena kandungan SK hijauannya rendah dan kandungan proteinnya masih dalam taraf memenuhi kebutuhan ternak ruminansia.\u0000The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of harvest age on dry matter production and forage chemical composition in mixed crops of Sorghum plumosum, Botriochloa pertusa and Pueraria phaseoloides. This research used Kume grass (Sorghum plumosum var. timorense), Suket putihan (Botriochloa pertusa) and Tropical kudzu (Pueraria phaseoloides). The research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 3 replications, namely Pp40 = S. plumosum + B. pertusa + P. phaseoloides were cut at 40 days of age, Pp60 = S. plumosum + B. pertusa + P. phaseoloides were cut at the age of 40 days. 60 days old and Pp80= S. plumosum + B. pertusa + P. phaseoloides were cut at 80 days old. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengukur pengaruh substitusi tepung bonggol pisang kepok terhadap kualitas kimia dan organoleptik. Materi yang digunakan adalah daging ayam kampung, tepung bonggol pisang, tepung tapioka dan bumbu-bumbu lain. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan yaitu substitusi tepung bonggol pisang: 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% dan setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 3 ulangan. Variabel yang diteliti adalah kandungan kadar protein, kadar lemak, kadar air, kadar abu, serat kasar dan organoleptik. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa dengan substitusi tepung bonggol pisang dalam pengolahan sosis ayam kampung dapat berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kadar protein, kadar lemak, kadar air, kadar abu, serat kasar, rasa, aroma, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) pada warna sosis daging ayam kampung. Simpulan, penggunaan tepung bonggol pisang kepok mampu mensubstitusi tapioka dan memberikan nilai yang berbeda terhadap kualitas kimia yaitu kadar protein, lemak, air abu dan serat kasar dan sifat organoleptik yaitu, rasa dan aroma serta warna yang sama terhadap sosis daging ayam kampung. The purpose of the study was to measure the effect of substitution of kapok banana hump flour on chemical and organoleptic The materials used are free-range chicken, kapok banana hump flour, tapioca flour and other spices. The method used is the Complete Randomized Design (RAL) method of 5 treatments, namely the substitution of kepok banana hump flour: 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and each treatment consists of 3 tests. The variables studied were protein content, fat content, water content, ash content, crude fiber and organoleptics. The results showed that, the substitution of kapok banana hump flour in making native chicken sausage had a significant effect (P<0,05) on protein content, fat content, ash content, crude fiber, taste, scent, but had no significant effect (P>0,05) on the color of native chicken sausage. Eksperimen telah dilakukan di Balai Penelitian Lapangan Peternakan Undana, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Materi yang digunakan adalah kambing lokal betina, umur 10-12 bulan dan berat badan rata-rata 10,17 kg. Penelitian ini metode percobaan dengan desain rancangan bujur sangkar latin (RBSL), empat perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan P1 = Rumput + konsentrat 80% jagung dan 20% kersen, P2 = Rumput + konsentrat 60% jagung dan 40% kersen, P3 = Rumput + konsentrat 40% jagung dan 60% kersen. Parameter yang diteliti adalah hemoglobin, eritrosit, PCV dan total protein plasma. Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA), dan jika terdapat perbedaan diolah dengan Uji Jarak Berganda duncan menggunakan software SPSS series 21 for windows. Hasil eksperimen memperlihatkan kenaikan pada setiap variabel yang diukur dengan kisaran kadar hemoglobin 11,68-12,27gr/dl, jumlah eritrosit 9,56-10,09 x 106/mm3, kadar PCV 35,04-36,82% dan total protein plasma 7,02-7,70gr/dl. Namun uji statistik menunjukkan hasil perlakuan memberi pengaruh tidak berbeda nyata (P>0.05) pada kenaikan hemoglobin, jumlah eritrosit, PCV dan total protein plasma kambing kacang. Simpulannya adalah penggunaan daun kersen sebagai subtitusi jagung di dalam ransum sampai pada level 60% tidak memberikan peningkatan dan relatif sama terhadap hemoglobin, jumlah eritrosit, kadar packet cell volume (PCV) dan total protein plasma terhadap kambing lokal.\u0000Kata kunci: Daun Kersen, hemoglobin, eritrosit, PCV, total protein plasma.\u0000An experiment was conducted to determine the effect of using kersen leaves as a subtitute of corn in the concentrate on hemoglobin levels, erythrocyte counts, packed cell volume (PCV) and the total plasma protein of goat bean livestock. Experiments have been conducted at the Undana Livestock Field Research Center, East Nusa Tenggara. The material used is a female local goat, aged 10-12 months and an average body weight of 10.17 kg. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah R0: ransum basal tanpa tepung daun asam (kontrol), R1: ransum basal + tepung daun asam 2,5% R2: ransum basal + tepung daun asam 5%, R3: ransum basal + tepung daun asam 7,5%. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu konsumsi dan kecernaan kalsium dan fosfor. Hasil analisis anova menyatakan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan kalsium dan fosfor. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini adalah suplementasi tepung daun asam sebanyak 2,5%; 5%; dan 7,5% dalam ransum basal tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap konsumsi, kecernaan, kalsium dan fosfor.\u0000Kata kunci: Babi, Daun asam, Fosfor , Kalsium, Kecernaan\u0000ABSTRACT\u0000The purpose of this study was to determine the consumption and digestibility of calcium and phosphorus supplemented with tamarind leaf flour (Tamarindus indica L.) in the diet. The livestock used in this study were 12 castration landrace crossbreed pigs in the grower phase with an age of 2-4 months and an initial body weight of 35.5-64 kg and an average (KV = 23.65%). This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments tested were R0: basal ration without tamarind leaf meal (control), R1: basal ration + tamarind leaf meal 2.5% R2: basal ration + 5% tamarind meal, R3: basal ration + 7.5 tamarind meal %. The variables studied were the consumption and digestibility of calcium and phosphorus. The results of the ANOVA analysis stated that the treatment had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the consumption and digestibility of calcium and phosphorus. Penelitian ini menggunakan sapi jantan umur 1-1,5 tahun sejumlah 4 ekor, dan berat badan awal 133-155kg dengan rata-rata 144kg ± 10,231. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen menggunakan rancangan Bujur Sangkar Latin (RBSL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 periode sebagai ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah P0: pakan pola peternak + konsentrat mengandung bonggol pisang 40% dan ubi kayu 60%, P1: pakan pola peternak + konsentrat mengandung bonggol pisang 50% dan ubi kayu 50%, P2: pakan pola peternak + konsentrat mengandung bonggol pisang 60% dan ubi kayu 40%, P3: pakan pola peternak + konsentrat mengandung bonggol pisang 70% dan ubi kayu 30%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konsumsi serat kasar (g/e/h) P0=557,86±42,47; P1=567,38±13,53; P2=578,83±39,70; P3=580,96±24,82, konsumsi lemak kasar (g/e/h) P0=104,83±7,56; P1=109,06±2,41; P2= 106,00±7,06; P3=104,98±4,14, kecernaan serat kasar (%) P0=47,87±4,67; P1=47,10±7,56; P2=43,32±1,78; P3=42,75±1,93, kecernan lemak kasar (%) P0=59,28±7,52; P1=54,75±5,68; P2=54,38±3,67; P3=54,91±3,78. Analisis statistik menunjukan bahwa perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi serat kasar, konsumsi lemak kasar, kecernaan serat kasar dan kecernaan lemak kasar. Pada tingkat substitusi rumput alam dengan daun bafkenu 45% dari proporsi hijauan 70% dalam ransum komplit adalah paling baik dilihat dari bahan kandungan serat kasar meskipun memberikan nilai kecernaan bahan organik dan kecernaan bahan kering yang relatif sama dengan perlakuan lainnya\u0000 \u0000The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using bafkenu (Kleinhoviahospita) leaves in complete rations as a substitute for natural grass on crude fiber content and in vitro digestibility of dry matter and organic matter. The design used was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 4 replications, namely R0 = complete ration consisting of 70% natural grass forage + 30% concentrate; R1 = Complete ration consisting of 70% forage (85% natural grass + 15% bafkenu leaves) + 30% concentrate; R2 = Complete ration consisting of 70% forage (70% natural grass + 30% bafkenu leaves) + 30% concentrate; and R3 = complete ration consisting of 70% forage (55% natural grass + 45% bafkenu leaves) + 30% concentrate.. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji rasa dan kualitas mikroba Coliform dan Salmonella sei sapi yang ditambahkan beberapa level angkak (pengganti saltpeter) dengan lama penyimpanan berbeda dan kombinasi terbaik. Materi yaitu daging sapi Bali dari otot paha (Biceps femoris), angkak, saltpeter, garam dan ketumbar. Peralatan drum pengasapan (modifikasi) dan peralatan dapur. Eksperimen dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola factorial 5 x 4 dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan angkak terdiri dari 0%, 1%, 1,5%, 2% dan 2,5% dan lama simpan 3, 5,7 dan 9 hari. Hasil penelitian, nilai rasa se’i dipengaruhi kombinasi penambahan angkak dan lama simpan. Rasa se’i meningkat pada penambahan angkak pada level 1,5 – 2% angkak dan lama simpan 3 dan 5 hari penilaian panelis dari suka ke sangat suka dan cenderung menurun pada lama simpan 7 dan 9 hari meskipun penilaian panelis masih suka ke agak suka. Bakteri Coliform dan Salmonella tidak terdeteksi pada se’i. Disimpulkan, kombinasi ekstrak angkak dengan lama simpan mempengaruhi nilai rasa se’i (sangat suka) dan tidak mempengaruhi bakteri Coliform dan Salmonella yang terdeteksi negatif.
