Menggunakan 80 ekor ternak ayam KUB yang berusia sehari sebagai ternak perlakuan. Metode yang dipakai yaitu rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicoba adalah R0: pakan tanpa campuran tepung feses sapi terfermentasi (ransum kontrol), R1: pakan basal 90% + tepung feses sapi terfermentasi 10%, R2: pakan basal 80% + tepung feses sapi terfermentasi 20%, dan R3: pakan basal 70% + tepung feses sapi terfermentasi 30%. Parameter yang diukur adalah Income Over Feed Cost,, biaya produksi, penerimaan, keuntungan, serta break even point. Hasil analisis ragam memperlihatkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap nilai IOFC, penerimaan, keuntungan, BEP, serta berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap biaya produksi. Pada pergantian level 10% adalah yang terbaik karena mampu meningkatkan nilai IOFC sebesar 3,43% yaitu dari RP53.752 menjadi Rp55.594, mampu menurunkan biaya total produksi sebesar 0,05%, mampu meningkatkan peneriaman 2,65%, mampu meningkatkan keuntungan menjadi Rp13.055,46 atau keuntungan meningkat sebesar 16,44%, serta BEP unit yaitu677,05ekor dan BEP rupiah sebesar Rp47.393.723dengan harga Rp70.000 per ekor maka peternak tidak mengalami keuntungan dan juga kerugian (impas).\u0000 \u0000The purpose of this study was to determine the economic value of substitution of fermented cow feces flour in KUB chicken feed. The material used is 80 KUB chickens of 1 day. The method used is completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were R0: feed without a mixture of fermented cow feces flour (control ration), R1: 90% basal feed + 10% fermented cow feces flour, R2: 80% basal feed + 20% fermented cow feces flour, and R3: 70% basal feed + 30% fermented cow feces flour. The parameters measured are Income Over Feed Cost,, production costs, revenues, profits, and break even point.. Materi yang digunakan adalah daging sapi dan daun mayana. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari P0 = Daging Sapi tanpa Daun Mayana, P1 = Daging Sapi 1 kg + Daun Mayana 100 g, P2 = Daging Sapi 1 kg + Daun Mayana 200g, P3 = 1 kg Daging Sapi + Daun Mayana 300 g. Variabel yang diukur meliputi kadar protein, kadar lemak, kolesterol dan nilai Thiobarbituric-Acid (TBA). Hasil penelitian penambahan daun mayana dalam perebusan daging sapi berpengaruh nyata (P<0.05) terhadap kadar protein, kadar lemak, kolesterol dan nilai Thiobarbituric-Acid (TBA). Disimpulkan bahwa penambahan daun mayana sebanyak 300g dalam perebusan daging sapi dapat meningkatkan kadar protein sebesar 38.04%, kadar lemak 2.79%, kolesterol 42.07% dan nilai Thiobarbituric-Acid (TBA) 2.71%.\u0000 \u0000This research aims to determine the effect of added mayana leaves (Solenostemon scutellarioides L) in boiling proces on chemical quality of beef. The materials used were beef and mayana leaves. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments consistedof P0 = Beef without Mayana Leaves, P1 = 1 kg Beef + 100 g Mayana Leaves, P2 = 1 kg Beef + 200 g Mayana Leaves, P3 = 1 kg Beef + 300 g Mayana Leaves. Variables measured included protein content, fat content, cholesterol and Thiobarbituric-Acid (TBA) value. The results of the study shows that the addition of mayana leaves in boiling beef had a significant effect (P<0.05) on protein content, fat content, cholesterol and the value of Thiobarbituric-Acid (TBA). Suatu penelitian dilakukan pada pedagang ayam broiler dengan tujuan mengetahui besarnya keuntungan pada masing-masing bentuk penjualan dan mengetahui bentuk penjualan yang memberikan keuntungan yang lebih besar. Pengambilan contoh pada pedagang ayam hidup dan pedagang karkas dilakukan secara acak proporsional. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan dan dilanjutkan dengan uji perbandingan dua rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan pedagang yang menjual ayam hidup adalah Rp7.864/ekor sedangkan pendapatan pedagang yang menjual karkas adalah Rp11.093/ekor dan ternyata ada perbedaan yang sangat nyata dari dua bentuk penjualan ternak ayam broiler tersebut. Pedagang karkas memperoleh pendapatan per ekor yang lebih besar dibanding dengan pendapatan pedagang ayam hidup. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha ternak ayam broiler pada penjualan karkas lebih menguntungkan jika dibanding dengan penjualan ayam hidup.\u0000 \u0000Different forms of broiler chicken sales in traditional market of Kupang City will affect the level of profit obtained by each trader. A study was conducted on broiler chickens traders with the aim of knowing the profits rate from each form of sales and knowing the form of sales that provide greater profits find out which forms of sales provide greater profits. Sampling of live chicken traders and carcass traders was carried out proportionally randomly. The data analysis method used is income analysis followed by a comparison test of two averages. The results showed that the average income of traders who sold live chickens was IDR7,864/head while the income of traders who sold carcass was IDR11,093/head and it turned out that there was a very significant difference between two forms of selling broiler chickens. Carcass traders earn a higher income per head than live chicken traders.. Materi yang digunakan adalah 12 ekor ternak babi Landrace berumur 1-2 bulan dengan berat badan awal 6,5 kg - 26 kg, rata-rata 20,11 kg dan koefisien variasi 41,56%. Penelitaian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari empat perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah R0 : 100% pakan dasar tanpa tepung limbah rumput laut terfermentasi, R1 : pakan dasar + 5% tepung limbah rumput laut terfermentasi (TRLLF), R2 : pakan dasar + 10% tepung limbah rumput laut terfermentasi (TRLLF), R3 : ransum basal + 15% tepung limbah rumput laut (TRLLF). Variabel yang diteliti adalah konsumsi dan kecernaan protein dan energi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan rumput laut merah dalam ransum basal berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi protein, energi dan kecernaan energi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa penggunaan tepung limbah rumput laut merah (eucheuma cottonii) dari taraf 5-15% berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap konsumsi protein dan kecernaan energi namun mempunyai pengaruh yang cukup besar pada taraf 10% dalam meningkatkan kecernaan protein pada ternak babi landrace fase starter.\u0000Kata kunci: Babi, limbah rumput laut, protein, energi, konsumsi, kecernaan \u0000The aim of the study was to examine the impact of using fermented red seaweed (Eucheuma cottonii) waste flour on consumption and protein digestibility in starter phase landrace pigs. The material used was 12 pigs aged 1-2 months with an initial body weight of 6.5 kg-26 kg, an average of 20.11 kg and a coefficient of variation of 41.56%. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) which consisted of four treatments with 3 replications. The treatments tested were R0: 100% basic feed without fermented seaweed meal, R1: basic feed + 5% remaining fermented seaweed meal (TRLLF), R2: basic feed + 10% fermented seaweed waste meal (TRLLF), R3: basal ration + 15% fermented seaweed waste flour (TRLLF). The variables studied were protein and energy intake and digestibility. The results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the use of red seaweed flour in the basal ration had a significant (P<0.05) effect on protein digestibility at 10% use. Metode yang digunakan yaitu rancangan acak kelompok terdiri atas 5 kelompok dan 4 ransum perlakuan yaitu R0: jagung 35,42%, konsentrat 56,43% , dedak 8,15%; R1: 25% kombinasi tepung ubi ungu, daun kelor dan minyak kelapa menggantikan jagung; R2: 50% kombinasi tepung ubi ungu, daun kelor dan minyak kelapa menggantikan jagung; R3: 75% kombinasi tepung ubi ungu, daun kelor dan minyak kelapa menggantikan jagung. Analisis varian membuktikan penggunaan tepung ubi ungu, daun kelor dan minyak kelapa sebagai pengganti jagung tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) pada konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi ransum dan mortalitas puyuh jantan. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa ransum perlakuan tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi ransum dan mortalitas puyuh jantan.\u0000 \u0000The purpose of this study was to determine the combination of purple sweet potato leaves and coconut oil as a substitute for corn in the ration on ration consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion and mortality of male quail. The method used was a randomized block design consisting of 5 groups and 4 treatment rations, namely R0: corn 35.42%, concentrate 56.43%, bran 8.15%; R1: 25% combination of purple sweet potato flour, Moringa leaves and coconut oil replaces corn; R2: 50% combination of purple sweet potato flour, Moringa leaves and coconut oil replaces corn; R3: 75% combination of purple sweet potato flour, Moringa leaves and coconut oil replaces corn. Analysis of variance proved that the use of purple sweet potato flour, moringa leaves and coconut oil as a substitute for corn had no significant effect (P>0.05) on ration consumption, body weight gain, ration conversion and male quail mortality.
