This study examined how a school created a context for change by implementing an innovation to improve teaching practices, school culture, and student learning outcomes. Implementing innovation requires school leaders to understand the process of change to successfully sustain school improvement efforts. The purpose of this research study was to assess the effectiveness that an innovative hybrid schedule had on improving student learning outcomes and school culture. This mixed-method research study used data generated by the AdvancEd®’s Stakeholder Feedback Survey, the ACT Aspire® Student Achievement Tests, and teacher interviews. \u0000The analysis of this study’s data indicated several factors that facilitated change through the implementation of the innovative hybrid schedule. The researcher discovered these overall factors related to the benefits of students changing classes, teachers becoming content specialists, collaboration through PLCs and vertical planning. Additionally, the results revealed that significant change occurred in school culture based on the AdvancEd®’s Stakeholder Feedback Survey. Additionally, student learning outcomes measured by ACT Aspire® Reading and Mathematics Student Achievement Tests showed a statistically significant improvement in both reading and math. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":247415,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Education Methodology","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115607211","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, without any teacher training program, he promotes teaching on learning, trying to impart mathematical knowledge without specific didactical teaching tools. We study the effects separately for male and female students, and native, first, and second generation of immigrants. Results show a slightly bigger influence of the mother over the father. For higher ISCED levels, native and second generation immigrants have same behavior, while for lower levels natives have less anxiety. In families where the mother has a higher ISCED level than the father, female students native and second generation immigrants have more Math Anxiety, whereas the opposite occurs in male students.","PeriodicalId":247415,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Education Methodology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129274900","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

His powerful and enduring argument for a broader approach to academic roles and rewards within universities continues to be important as higher education providers balance the varying expectations of their role in society. According to the results obtained, it proves that CRM practices contain more positive effect on its customer satisfaction. The sample size used was only focused on PHEI that offer undergraduate programmes in Malaysia. According to the research conducted, there are few limitations that disclose the exact relationship between CRM and Customer Satisfaction. Education industry has become one of the major growing industries in Malaysia with various numbers of competitors. Thus, this study allows policy makers of PHEI to focus and implement CRM practices that would have an increase of direct positive impact of satisfaction for their customers. The study conducted also helps to evaluate not only CRM and satisfaction but also evaluate the effect of the Gender and Age Group factors that reflects on the relationship.","PeriodicalId":247415,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Education Methodology","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125841007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our sample was students 24 women and 6 men. All students in the same degree in the above mentioned academic year. Students were asked to complete a written questionnaire that was posted on the internet, while they were ensured for their anonymity. Data analysis was done by following a quantitative approach via the usage of the SPSS24 statistical software. The most important findings of the research were that of all forms of internet and computer based technology that was used in order to assist students during their studies, the forum, the emails and the usage of phone conversations with students and lectures were the ones that were mostly related with their written assignments. In terms of their educational needs in general, they were covered by email, forums, telephone communication and they also chose to videoconferencing. Generally speaking, they have shown that internet and computer technology are essential in distance learning education. Finally, students wanted to improve their communication with their lectures, would like to increase their telephone communication with them and to give answers to their questions via the forum usage.","PeriodicalId":247415,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Education Methodology","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-04-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127779343","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although prerequisite, but these are not sufficient for excelling as individuals in the 21st century, for preparing future leaders within the nation and for expediting growth of a nation into an economic powerhouse. In our view, we need to equip students with a new extended skill set as identified by Partnership for 21st century skills (P21) so that they can apply their academic learning innovatively into new situations for overcoming day-to-today challenges in their lives and in the society. Therefore, a novel Conceptual Research Experience program was introduced at Indus World School in Indore(India), where selected secondary and higher secondary school students underwent research process and were encouraged to be creative, critically think, collaborate and communicate their research findings on a topic ranging from science and commerce to law and humanities. These students not only improved reading, writing and arithmetic abilities, but with better conceptual understanding were able to deliver an innovative solution for a practical problem and disseminate it at an international level, thus creating new opportunities for themselves and for their nation.","PeriodicalId":247415,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Education Methodology","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-02-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124839918","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
