An attempt is made to assess the possibility of introducing effective academic contracts as the basis for the formation of personnel strategies. It has been substantiated that in the academic environment of Belarus, in general, the requirements of an effective contract are not fulfilled, although there are types of scientific and methodological activities that a contract involves. It is proved that the academic activity in Belarus is determined by the age of teachers and the presence of their academic degree. These factors are decisive in the models of labor behavior of university teachers. Involvement in the academic environment for teachers is related to their material interest. It is concluded that the Belarusian academic environment is making the first attempts to form new models of labor behavior, allowing the higher education system to be transformed to introduce effective academic contracts. Our paper mainly focuses on a group of Russian innovative companies expanding abroad. By combining the input from the conducted interviews with the insights from the literature review and analyzing the new generation of companies that rely on crowdsourcing as an instrument of fourth industrial revolution and an alternative way of attracting resources and internationalization we synthesized incentives for Russian startups to internationalize. We conclude that internationally active entrepreneurs are more focused on the external environment than on their internal factors and that crowdsourcing can be the answer for the next generation companies to expand internationally. Practice shows that companies capable of maximally using the initiative of ordinary workers, their professional competence and independence, turn the routine, monotonous, performing work into instrumental-experimental, innovative activity of creative professionals achieve the greatest success. At the same time, the formation of management approaches that allow combining personnel initiative with its target-focused application in the organization is still an unsolved problem for many innovation oriented companies. This study analyzes the impact of the organizational culture on the personality mechanisms of employee proactivity that facilitate their self-fulfillment through participation in initiative activity. The empirical study has been conducted in the Russian companies on the basis of the model of employee proactivity potential, including self-leadership, self-directed learning, and engagement, describing the behavioral dominants of initiative employees. As a result of the study, it has been established that employees with different dominants of proactive behavior have different perceptions of significance of norms, rules and values concentrated in the company culture, which does not depend on the age or size of the company, but can be related to certain cultural traits caused by priority areas in the activity of the companies included in the study. It has been established that initiative increase in the employees with “self-leadership” dominant is facilitated by teamwork-focused value attitude; with “selfdirected learning” dominant – by significance and encouragement of the employee’s self-development drive; with “engagement” dominant – by affinity and interrelatedness between life goals and interests of the employee and those of the company. The obtained results demonstrate that unfolding of the intrinsic energy of employees in the purposes of organizational development is facilitated by shaping a culture on the basis of value attitudes that take into account the dominants of initiative behavior. This finding contributes to the understanding of the role of organizational culture in a modern innovation oriented company. Kokoreva","doi":"10.2991/SICNI-18.2019.116","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.2991/SICNI-18.2019.116","url":null,"abstract":"Industrial technologies applied in the food industry are high-performance, efficient technologies that use the most advanced technical means and methods of work, allowing to significantly increase the technical equipment of labor and its productivity. In the conditions of the new economy, the scientific and technological activity of food industry enterprises is of particular importance, the specificity of which lies in the fact that the main volume of output is designed for domestic consumption and limited by demand determined by rational norms of food consumption. In this regard, the enterprises of the agri-food sector should plan the release of various types of products to ensure physical accessibility in food products of all social groups. This requires constant work to improve the formulations, technological methods of food production, methods of packaging and delivery to the consumer while preserving in the process of product distribution of all consumer advantages, including freshness. The study of consumer preferences and awareness allows manufacturers to adjust the basic consumer properties of food products—functional, organoleptic characteristics, and preservation ability. In this case, the consumer preserves the property of preservation ability as the shelf life of the products, preferring the freshest ones. In this regard, in order to obtain and analyze the results presented in the paper, the research purpose is: to study consumer awareness of the impact of shelf life of pastilles on their organoleptic properties and potential demand for zephyr and pastila, which include a functional food ingredient—a pectin of local fruit and berry raw materials, which acts as a stabilizer and has a good water-retaining power, which is one of the directions of development of modern industrial confectionery production technologies. It was shown that the composition of zephyr and pastila and their nutritive value are important for consumers; the presence of enriching ingredient in zephyr and pastila, which gives them functional properties, is important for 95% of respondents. However, only 30% of respondents are aware of the functional food ingredient pectin and its beneficial properties. Thus, the scientific-technological and industrial development of the branch is a fundamental factor in improving the quality of confectionery products. At the same time, its development is possible only in the presence of a full-fledged innovation system, which includes education, science, new technologies, modern business methods, as well as highly qualified personnel.","PeriodicalId":245424,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Scientific conference on New Industrialization: Global, national, regional dimension (SICNI 2018)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128510132","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We identify the algebraic approach for designing such models as the system of three components: 1) systems of basic models; 2) systems of typical transformation and typical combination models; 3) an approximation mechanism dealt with submission of the required model as the result of applying standard transformations and typical combinations of basic models. The strategy concept definition, interpreted as a mechanism for creating reference models of activity, is viewed as the basis of an activity management system. The most significant type of such models is an activity plan. The robotization of agriculture is an objective process connected with the development of techniques and technology as well as with the increasing shortage of employees in this field and the necessity to increase the production efficiency. The research methods are SWOT-analysis and different methods of generalization and data processing. The analysis has shown the strengths of transformation of social and labour relations in conditions of the robotization which include the increase of production efficiency based on growth of labour productivity, reducing injuries at work, improving of the staff working life quality. The weaknesses include inequality and discrimination of the agricultural employees, increase in labour intensity with the growth of sensory loads, workers resistance to robotization processes. There are opportunities to create additional working places in hi-tech sector including programming, production of components for robots, appearance of new jobs connected with using of robotics in agriculture. It should be noted that modern generation of employees are focused on digital technologies, so robotization of agriculture will promote attractiveness of this branch for employees. The main threats can possibly be connected with the increase of unemployment because of robotization. It is possible to predict an increase in the polarization of labour in the agricultural sector of economics. The research results can be used by executive agencies while developing programmes of innovative agricultural development and technical modernization of the branch.","PeriodicalId":245424,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Scientific conference on New Industrialization: Global, national, regional dimension (SICNI 2018)","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134183903","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The introduction of the concept of industry 4.0 and the Internet of things covers not only technical innovations, but also affects all spheres of life, including social aspects, consumption, security, etc. The article is devoted to the analysis of the marketing tools transformation under the new industrialization and digitalization. The article considers two global trends in the development of marketing place regarding an industrial city. First, it is increasing attention to the comfortable urban environment as a significant advantage of the territory competitiveness. As many factors of production become more mobile, the quality of the urban environment becomes increasingly important. A significant improvement in the quality of the urban environment can be achieved through the use of a project approach, which allows to mobilize not only the resources of the territory itself, but also to attract external sources of funding. Secondly, the processes of digitalization significantly increase competition not only between enterprises but also between territories. As a result, Internet, including the official website of the city, becomes one of the most important channels for place promotion. The article analyzes the web criteria for the official site of an industrial city on the basis of the author's model of territories virtual representativeness identifies existing problems and provides recommendations for improving the infocommunication component of place marketing.","PeriodicalId":245424,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 2nd International Scientific conference on New Industrialization: Global, national, regional dimension (SICNI 2018)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130274486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
