Pereira","doi":"10.18316/desenv.v8i3.5758","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18316/desenv.v8i3.5758","url":null,"abstract":"In March 2017, the Brazilian beef and dairy sector was surprised by Operation Meat Loaf, which investigated allegations of adulteration in foods produced by several companies in this segment. Among the companies investigated were BRF and JBS, the two largest Brazilian companies in the industry. Thus, this article aimed to ascertain the impact of this operation on the value of meat companies listed in B3. The market efficiency hypothesis was tested in the semi strong form and the possible impacts to shareholders were identified in the comparison between the period before and after the transaction. For the purpose proposed, the method of the study of events was applied, obtaining the data through the site of B3 and the base Economatica. The null hypothesis of non-efficiency of the market (H0A) was discarded, since the abnormal returns accumulatedat the event date were statistically different from zero. In the comparison of the 20 days before and after the event window, the paired t-test showed that the operation did not impact the market even after the five-day window, accepting the null hypothesis H0B. Considering the risks in coffee production due to climatic, agronomic or market issues, which affect the productivity and profitability, crop diversification can help farmers to minimize the risks with synergies between crops as sources of income. Thus, the use of the portfolio theory to analyze the composition of an efficient portfolio with coffee production is pertinent, since it considers the volatility of the returns of the different products to the composition of an optimal efficient portfolio, that maximizes the return to given level of risk. The objective of this study is to verify the viability of the application and the results generated by the portfolio theory of Markowitz (1952) in the composition coffee produced with other permanent crops. The research developed by the Stricto Sensu postgraduate programs is fundamental for the scientific and technological development of Brazil. However, their maintenance and expansion depend on the resources passed on by the federal government, which has suppressed some of these resources, making their maintenance and pursuit of quality a great challenge for program managers. It was possible to identify and analyze how the managers enable the maintenance of the programs, through the survey of fundraising practices in Stricto Sensu Public Administration. To this end, a qualitative study was conducted through interviews with the program managers with CAPES 5, 6 and 7 evaluation scores in the year 2017. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratoria e descritiva, com abordagem quantitativa, tendo sido realizado um estudo de caso. Para a coleta de dados realizou-se o Inventario de Perfil de Valores Organizacionais – IPVO, proposto por Oliveira e Tamayo (2004), para identificar quais valores organizacionais estao presentes na empresa. Apos, foi realizado um segundo questionario, a partir dos resultados do primeiro, para identificar, dentre os valores identificados quais podem ser tidos como estimulos ou barreiras a inovacao na organizacao. Os resultados demonstram que a empresa e familiar e conservadora, e esta em fase de reestruturacao. Na percepcao dos entrevistados, ainda nao existe conhecimento claro sobre as mudancas. This makes these researches a very rich field for a critical analysis of the reach, the benefits and the gaps of the analytical options of Brazilian academics in this field. Based on a benchmark, the present article describes and analyzes seven aspects - subject of the article, number and affiliation of the authors, data source, analysis objective and citations – from a sample of 158 articles of the Marketing Division of the 2014-15 EnANPADs. Among the findings, there is a strong emphasis on consumer behavior research, and the concentration of studies in three schools located in the state of Sao Paulo: Uninove, FGV-EAESP and USP. Thus, this article aimed to investigate the characteristics of the Structuring Elements of ST, through a Systematic Review of the scientific production of the last 10 years. It was analyzed 24 articles, from Science Direct and Portal of Newspapers CAPES. The main results showed that: (a) actors from different areas of knowledge participate in the ST movement; (b) the theoretical perspective most closely linked to the research was the Sociotechnical Approach; (c) the principles of the “Learning and Participation as Process” was the most outstanding attribute; (d) The ST, enables social inclusion and contributes to local development; (e) the limits of ST are due to a lack of public policies, management and financial difficulties, and theoretical limitations; (f) there is a close relationship between ST and Solidarity Economy, a fact that does not occur in relation to Social Innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility. By the literature review, seven hypotheses were formulated, which were tested from an empirical study performed with a convenience sample of 392 respondents. The analysis of the results was carried out by exploratory analysis techniques, by association measures and regression prediction technique by the normal linear model. The results indicate that the pretension to carry out physical activity is influenced by the barriers and motivations. Metodologicamente, foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratoria, para o que se utilizou como estrategia principal de pesquisa o levantamento dos dados, por meio da aplicacao de questionarios estruturados, suportados por breve revisao teorica. Para o tratamento dos dados, foi realizada analise dos componentes principais a fim de identificar e agrupar em fatores os principais elementos de analise. Com os resultados da pesquisa, observou-se que o assertivo desenvolvimento de competencias e um elo importante entre a estrategia organizacional e seus resultados. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa do tipo quantitativa, de carater descritivo, utilizando o metodo survey. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida com pessoas, com e sem deficiencia, que trabalham e residem em Joao Pessoa-PB. No total, participaram 90 pessoas, sendo 45 com deficiencia e 45 sem deficiencia. Para escolha dos sujeitos, foi aplicada a tecnica bola de neve. O questionario foi aplicado em sua maioria presencialmente, alem disso foi disponibilizado atraves do sistema do Google Docs, via internet. A analise dos dados contou com o auxilio do SPSS e subsidiou a realizacao da analise fatorial, descritiva, analise de variância (ANOVA), do teste nao parametrico, Kruskal-Wallis e da mediana.
