In this context collaborative consumption arises as an alternative to the traditional market exchanges. The article presented intends to explore what are the meanings and motivations related to this model of consumption. There were applied 23 in-depth interviews with users and entrepreneurs related to the movement using an interpretative bias tool. Procurando uma melhor compreensao sobre o fenomeno aqui investigado, o metodo adotado foi o estudo de caso, qualitativo e exploratorio, em que os dados das entrevistas, questionario e observacao participante, foram fundamentais na construcao do corpus para a analise de conteudo empregada. Este estudo mostrou as deficiencias e as falhas na aplicacao dos treinamentos na area comercial da empresa estudada. Concluiu-se que as estrategias de vendas tendem a nao estar claras e bem definidas para a equipe comercial, precisando de melhores orientacoes juntamente a esses profissionais. To adopt strategies and actions aimed at maximizing the gross revenue. One of the strategies is to increa the investment in selling expenses. Thus, the relation between the impact of selling expenses in the gross income of the company is a relevant information relevant to decision-makers, however, few studies have explored this issue. Thus, the objective of this research article is to analyze the impact of expenditure on gross sales revenues of companies listed on the BM & FBOVESPA. To do so, a quantitative and descriptive research based on secondary data obtained from the database of the BM & FBOVESPA was taken considering a period of three years: 2010, 2011 and 2012. Through simple linear regression analysis, the studiys indicated that there was influence in selling expenses in gross revenue in 44.23% of the 52 companies evaluated, and this influence was of 62.20%. There was also a similar relationship both in the trade business, industry or service, being more intense in the trade sector. Para tanto, apresenta-se a situacao da Camanor, uma empresa que atuava no mercado internacional ate 2010 e que, devido as oscilacoes cambiais, comecou a investir no mercado interno visando a se adaptar as novas realidades impostas pelo macro-ambiente com agilidade e dinamicidade. Na sua atuacao no mercado nacional, comecou a enfrentar a concorrencia desleal, competindo com produtores informais de camarao. E neste contexto que se propoe uma reflexao sobre o cenario em que as organizacoes estao inseridas, com o objetivo de mostrar a importância do planejamento estrategico, das analises dos ambientes interno e externo da organizacao e do estabelecimento de vantagens competitivas. Para a elaboracao do caso, foram coletados dados secundarios do mercado da carcinicultura, bem como realizadas entrevistas com profissionais da empresa envolvidos no processo de tomada de decisao, que relataram as dificuldades enfrentadas e as medidas adotadas para conduzir a sustentabilidade do negocio. This is a qualitative and descriptive study with master's students in the areas of Humanities and Social Sciences. Semi-structured interviews were conducted, based on the theoretical model of professional skills of Fleury and Fleury (2007): know how to act, know mobilize resources, know to communicate, know to learn, know to engage and to commit, knowing take responsibility and have strategic vision. The results highlight that the masters of applied social sciences, in general, all the skills were developed during the master. While the masters of the Human Sciences have been developed by all, only two skills, know to communicate and know to learn. In this sense, these two skills were developed by all surveyed, highlighting the importance of communication and the ability to review mental models, contributing to one of the master's purposes, which is acting as a teacher. Considering the existence of a gap in this relationship, the study aims to analyze the influence of asset specificity in the formation of strategic alliances. This is a descriptive research, developed based on secondary data. Was tested a hypotheses set relating to specific assets and alliances. Data were collected on 1,353 inserts for medicines registered in the Electronic Register of ANVISA. The study results suggest evidence consistent with the hypotheses, demonstrating the influence (P < 0.05) of specific assets such as shape, category and prescription medications on alliances. Sendo assim, procurou-se analisar como as empresas alinham as suas iniciativas em sites de compra coletiva com a estrategia de marketing de relacionamento. The analysis studies the company ELETROPAULO using quarterly data for the period between 1999 and 2012 according to multivariable regression, testing 10 independent variables and two dummys variables that represent the two periods in which there were state intervention in the company. The methodology presents a statistically representative result. Questionnaire was used for data collection with executive secretariat professionals and for managers of HEI of 15 institutions of the Consortium of Gaucho Community Universities of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. For data analysis, it was used the descriptive statistic method. From open questions, pertaining to secretarial professionals, content analysis was used according to Bardin. Results indicate the necessity of the effective participation of the Executive Secretariat in the strategic management of an Institution of Higher Education. This new positioning can break with the linear pyramidal thinking that segregates people in one of the following levels: operational, tactical and strategic. Ferreira","doi":"10.18316/1572","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18316/1572","url":null,"abstract":"In this article we analyzed the market risk using Value at Risk (VaR) and Expected Shortfall (ES) for ten companies considered Top Components of the Dow Jones Brazil Titans ADR Index (BR Titans 20) that has dual listing of American Depositary Receitps (ADRs) traded on the NYSE and stocks on the BM&F Bovespa. The aim was to apply four strategies for portfolios construction designed from the portfolios’ theory of Markowitz (1952) by applying the weights of ADRs and stocks in a portfolio in the local market or the U.S. stock market and estimate the probability distribution for these portfolios in order to compare the highest value at risk and also the highest expected loss when losses exceed the VaR. These strategies can be implemented by an american or a brazilian investor or an investment fund applying the weights of ADRs or stocks in the market in which it operates.
