This paper is going to discuss a model based on Java, which demonstrates how visual identity elements are applied in some apparel design step. In our proposed method, according to the good spatial position and orientation of Gabor filter, a Gabor filter with four frequencies and six orientations is firstly applied to filter face images. Based on daugman''s method and the local XOR pattern, local Gabor phase patterns are then extracted to form the characteristic images. Finally, fisher linear discriminant analysis is used to project the characteristic images of each spatial position and orientation into low dimensional space. Nearest classifier is adopted to the projected characteristics to get the recognition result. Two human face databases, namely Feret and AR database are selected for evaluation. These added interactivity to the formerly used portal, which was already very popular among the students of Aalto University in Helsinki. The prototype was evaluated using two different methods: a quick and deep evaluation, involving a total of 32 people. However, concurrency of a large number of tasks which often exists in Web services-based applications and the complicated construction of service chain control flow make the calculation of response time, much harder. Hence, we proposal a queue theory based response time computing method for web services chain. We first analyze the control flow and task arrive model in Web services chain, then model the waiting process in the Web services concurrent task as a queue model. Some measurements of the ship motion variables can be obtained from certain reference sensor systems. However, the other measurements may be expensive or impossible to be obtained, such as ship velocity and acceleration. Fortunately, they can probably be estimated using the available measurements and the ship dynamic mathematical model. The dynamic mathematical model of a ship is based on a hydrodynamic and aerodynamic description. In order to handle estimation errors due to ship modeling uncertainty, the moving horizon filter is designed by combining the ship dynamic model, the concept of moving horizon and optimum control. A simulation of a dynamic positioning supply ship is carried out. The modeling uncertainty is considered respectively with time-invariant and time-varying mass matrix and damping matrix. It is a heavy work, causing misreading, omitting information, etc. This paper introduces a novel method for automatic recognition of the real-life electronic metro construction drawings. It defines sequential, orientational, integrated recognition strategies by analyzing and summarizing drawings features, descripts recognition process by BNF, and designs four recognition algorithms to recognize typical graphic elements. Developing construction drawings recognition software and applying it in the metro project risk management in cities of Wuhan, Zhengzhou and Shenyang.
