From the provincial states, agricultural education institutions were also organized, which, in some cases, preceded the national creations. This article carries out an institutional reconstruction of the first school of this type, created in the province of Entre Rios in 1896 with the objective of preparing qualified personnel for the improvement of agricultural activities and disseminating the milky industry. The novelty of the school, the type of preparation offered to young people, the purpose of promoting the dairy industry and its extensive action require their particular study. Coimbra","doi":"10.20396/rho.v19i0.8655060","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20396/rho.v19i0.8655060","url":null,"abstract":"Este artigo tem por objetivo discutir o processo de expansao e interiorizacao da Universidade Federal do Maranhao (UFMA) a partir do REUNI, tendo como problematica os limites dessa politica no que concerne a democratizacao da educacao superior, tendo em vista que o discurso de democratizacao das oportunidades educacionais foi um dos principais sustentaculos ideologicos para a implementacao das politicas de expansao e reestruturacao do ensino superior no periodo de 2003 a 2012. Analisa-se o contexto de formulacao das politicas de expansao e reestruturacao do ensino superior elaboradas nos governos Lula da Silva (2003-2010) e Dilma Rousseff (2010-2016), com destaque para o Programa de Expansao e Reestruturacao das Universidades Federais (REUNI). Constata-se que a expansao fomentada pelo REUNI, em que pesem os resultados positivos do ponto de vista quantitativo, contribuiram para uma expansao precaria em varios aspectos. Para isso, sao consideradas duas abordagens antagonicas no campo da leitura: a primeira e a que afirma, na perspectiva radical-liberal, que e o leitor que daria sentido ao texto, lendo a si mesmo e a sua historia nos livros de literatura; a segunda atribui ao texto a significacao da narrativa, cabendo ao leitor, a partir de suas condicoes objetivas e subjetivas de leitura, sua interpretacao. Primeiramente, realizou-se um levantamento preliminar de todas as pesquisas que tem a imprensa como fonte primaria, seja jornal ou revista, para em seguida investigar quais utilizam revistas educacionais no recorte teorico proposto, inicio do seculo XX. Through documentary research, we analyzed the official reports that show the schooling or non-schooling of these young people in the period of compliance of the measure. We have as a theoretical-methodological reference historical-dialectical materialism. The analyses were carry out by Critical-Historic Pedagogy source and as a core question were inquired: how is the teachers' standpoints towards educational practices performed in rural multigrade schools? The data were collected during an extension program combined the theoretical and empirical research. The interim outcomes show a general view on the teachers' work into rural multigrade schools in the specific county, and also reveals in teachers' speech they had low instruction and support about a pedagogy to make easy the job on the schools. Nisia Floresta translated and published \"The Law of Women and the Injustice of Men\" in 1832, the English writing, Mary Wollstonecraft, originally titled \"Vindication of the Rights of Woman\" in 1792. In Parahyba do Norte, in 1913, Catharina Moura, in a public conference at the Popular University, proclaimed a speech with the same title, retaking the theses defended by her predecessors. The purpose of this paper is to understand the educational project proposed by the women intellectuals who participated in the public debate, particularly Catharina Moura. The sources used are the periodicals and periodicals that were the writing support of these women, more specifically the Parahyban newspaper, A Uniao. As a theoretical-methodological reference was used the History of Intellectuals that helps to understand the trajectory, generation and networks of sociabilities that have crossed the lives of these women, as well as the participation of them and the ideas that propagated in the public debate of the period. In this sense, it is possible to conclude that women acted as intellectuals positioning themselves in favor of female emancipation through school and cultural education. {"title":"Um marco no ensino secundário do estado da Paraíba: o Colégio Estadual de Campina Grande (1948-1953)","authors":"V. As for the time frame, we focus on the period from 1948 to 1953.The year of 1948 was officially proposed for the construction of the school, and the year of 1953, for being the moment that the educational establishment was opened and started to operate in its own building. Methodologically, we performed bibliographical research and documentary analysis. The main references were: Bourdieu (1996), Le Goff (1996), Saviani (2007), Sanfelice (2007) and others. As for the sources, we work with newspapers, yearbooks, presidential messages; messages from governors; books of memorialists. In general terms, we highlight that this achievement in the city of Campina Grande was a great one that began in the interior area of Paraiba, the operation of a quality secondary public institution.
