To visualize the abstract concept of data relation and unobservable process of data storage, transmission and processing in the course of database technology and application, we designed and implemented a series of virtual experiment, including evolution of data storage, relational database design and SQL statement operation. The application results show that the virtual experiments are beneficial for both learning and teaching. Developing the higher education and training more high-quality computer professionals in the future is the key to meet the new needs of social development. This paper analyzed the requirements of new engineering majors, and explored the systematic ability training model for computer majors in applied undergraduate colleges and universities. A scientific and reasonable curriculum system was constructed around the goal of cultivating the ability of system. The teachers carried out the system view in the teaching process and organized the teaching around the goal of constructing the basic computer system. Although handheld mobility devices have been developed to assist the vision impaired in navigation, they are incapable of capturing parameters such as distance, angle and direction. This paper presents an appraised framework; the Accessible Building Information Model (AccessBIM), which could be used for generating an indoor map in real-time with the classification of real world objects and their locations. The AccessBIM database is equipped with two optimization algorithms; a database optimization algorithm that reduces the time of query execution through indexing, query re-writing, schema redesigning and a memory optimization algorithm known as “Memcache”. Five scenarios were tested using a simulator to determine the accuracy of the map that is generated. The use of the two algorithms ensured that the real-time map generated through the data collected from the simulation environment was similar to the actual floor plan. However, these factors were largely studied independently in a chosen context. This paper aims to investigate whether interrelationships exist among the factors and whether the interrelationships are context-dependent. In this empirical study, two universities were chosen from two continents, which represent different cultures, teaching methodologies, assessment criteria and languages used to teach programming in west and east worlds respectively. Among all the online devices, smartphone embedded social media software has occupied large portion which leads social media facilitating learning a potential to constitute blended learning. In this paper, an empirical study is totally completed which concerns the effect of subscription account of WeChat (a social media software) on college English learning. According to semi-structured interviews and questionnaires, it finds out that quantities of learners are lurkers or just drop out which can be attributed to the lack of persistent intrinsic motivation and external supervision. In order to explore the intrinsic links among the news and extracted effective topics, we put forward ProjectRank model based on latent Dirichlet allocation. Large-scale Chinese text sets serves as initial input of this model. By combining LDA topic model with distance between probability distributions, we figure out scores of topics so as to quantify the result of topic evaluation. Moreover, this model proves to be useful to track trends of hot news in different time periods.
