Developing the higher education and training more high-quality computer professionals in the future is the key to meet the new needs of social development. This paper analyzed the requirements of new engineering majors, and explored the systematic ability training model for computer majors in applied undergraduate colleges and universities. A scientific and reasonable curriculum system was constructed around the goal of cultivating the ability of system. The teachers carried out the system view in the teaching process and organized the teaching around the goal of constructing the basic computer system.
