Currently, hydrodynamic coefficients are available by tank test methods, theoretical calculations and the approximate estimation methods that based on the experimental data in the tank. In this paper, based on the ship test data in the tank, longitudinal and transverse virtual mass and virtual rotation moment of inertial can be estimated by multiple linear regressions. It is estimated with the existing formula of reference to compare. This formula can meet the precising engineering applications. It is well used as guide in ship motion modeling and it is applied to the general mathematical model of Ship Handling Simulator.","PeriodicalId":227848,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133457520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper is mainly to introduce the micro-CT scanning method for the construction of digital cores and the maximal ball algorithm for the establishment of pore network. For the micro-CT scanning method, we first use micro-CT scanning to get core projection data, and then adopt the FDK algorithm to reconstruct core grayscale images, finally get digital cores by image binary segmentation and imagery processing. While for the maximal ball algorithm, based on the CT data, we first adopt the maximal ball algorithm to get the pore network, and then obtain the pore network model by the utilization and imagery processing. The purpose of this work is to perform pore-scale flow simulation study to predict multiphase flow properties by using pore network models.","PeriodicalId":227848,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123734020","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In multiple-target tracking, a number of the techniques have been exercised such as the JPDA and the multiple Hypothesis (MHT) schemes. Sub-optimal algorithms, such as the PDA filter, have been used widely since the optimal algorithms have an exponentially increasing computational complexity. An improved data association algorithm was presented considering the association precision and the project practice. At first, the approximate confirmation matrix was obtained through removing the small probability events. Then, the same source observations were classified into the same sets and the relevant confirmation matrix of each area was constructed. Both the distance between echoes and center of validation gates and the number of echoes are considered. The state was estimated in the same way as JPDA at last. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can maintain high association precision and tracking success ratio, so it is fitted to engineering.","PeriodicalId":227848,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122026182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays there is not a good means to supervise the microcosmic gestures and tracks of vehicles' movement during driving, such as the GPS just outputs one coordinate dot per second. The sampling rate is too low to supervise the vehicles' behavior accurately and send out the danger-warning or confirm the responsibility after an accident. Based on the single-point two-dimensional acceleration data at high sampling rate and the particularity of vehicles' movement-Ackermann model, this paper ameliorates the algorithm about the track reconstruction of SINS and proposes an algorithm to reconstruct the two-dimensional track of vehicles' movement at high sampling rate. From the data and analysis of an experiment which collects the acceleration data from a vehicle, this paper's algorithm is proved to be validated.","PeriodicalId":227848,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences","volume":"140 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124420006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
