To improve the effectiveness of filtering, in this paper, we propose a new filtering scheme in which we combine the neural network and ontology categorization techniques to improve the accuracy of classification. We show that, by using the new categorization techniques, the accuracy of filtering in search engines can be greatly enhanced and many of the common problems can also be resolved.","PeriodicalId":227848,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124514584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We present a step to combine the two phenomena together. In our system terrain is carefully organized to make it can be modified easily. The water flow is calculated by the shallow water simulation, which is a 2D simplification of Navier-Stocks equations. When the terrain is changed by external force, the stream's original path may be broken or form new branches, meanwhile the water flows through the new path accordingly. We design the method skillfully to make it suits the GPU's multi-kernel architecture, so can take full advantage of the parallelism of current powerful graphics hardware. Our experiments demonstrate that the proposed method is suitable for real-time simulation of a variety of scenes including tracks on wetland, river diversion, adding obstacles into the water, etc.","PeriodicalId":227848,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127079042","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Secondly, the construction methods for information system infrastructure are discussed on the basis of cloud computing, and the framework for the cloud computing based information system infrastructure are proposed as well as the cloudlets relationship architecture. Last but not the least, the resource management mechanism for cloudlets is described. Very often, flight record data collected from various aircraft cannot be directly aggregated for anomaly analysis due to the proprietary nature of the data. This paper proposes a novel general framework for anomaly detection from distributed data sources that cannot be directly merged. In the proposed method, anomaly detection algorithm is first applied to data from individual aircraft and then their results are combined. We investigated eleven semi supervised anomaly detection algorithms, as well as four methods for combining anomaly detection results. Our experiments performed on simulated data have shown that particular anomaly detection algorithms and combining methods are more suitable for the task of distributed anomaly detection than others.","PeriodicalId":227848,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126935922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Assuming each CR user only can sense one channel at a time due to hardware restraints. And they only can sense one time during a slot time. The idle probability of each channel is predicted by the POMDP framework. If all CR users use the same OSA strategy with deterministic POMDP framework, collision will happen. Here, we present a new OSA strategy with randomized POMDP framework. It targets at maximizing the throughput of the entire cognitive radio network. The OSA also consider the service orders of the CR users and the CR user with high service order will have more chance to access the idle channels. We can see from the simulation results that the OSA with randomized POMDP framework can work for multiuser and work more efficiently than OSA with deterministic POMDP framework only for single user.","PeriodicalId":227848,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132892237","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
