Abstract

Nowdays, most people have embedded GIS devices, such as navigator, handset map and so on. But when developing embedded GIS software, programmers have to write different codes according to different embedded software and hardware. This paper explains the design and realization of Embedded GIS Graphic Mid-ware( CG-GDI). The Embedded GIS based on CG-GDI can be easily transplanted to other embedded software and hardware. So we can achieve the aim of “a GIS code used everywhere”.
