The environment consists of guidelines for student assignments (instructions for computer game creation - the key motivator). In order to submit assignments regularly, the environment is connected to Git version control system. Moreover, assignments are regularly assessed by the platform called Arena. The aim is to provide feedback as soon as possible, so there is enough space for bug fixing and personal improvement. In addition to ongoing assessment, Arena provides a web interface for writing code and displaying test results immediately, which is used mainly during exams. The main contribution is believed to be an increase of student motivation, enhancement of student engagement and effectiveness of assessment process, so it is fast and fair.","PeriodicalId":222363,"journal":{"name":"2015 13th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115026642","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its functions, principles and elements belong to fundamental knowledge of all network experts, administrators, researchers and ICT students. There are several public Internet information portals dealing with IPv6 topics offering visitors various IPv6 based information and links but no IPv6 simulation abilities. That's why we proposed and implemented an educational IPv6 portal which enables visitors to find IPv6 related information as well as basic simulation features. Simulation core of this portal is based on network simulator v.3 but we facilitated a topology (scenario) definition by a graphical tool we also implemented. In this paper we introduce all functions of our portal.","PeriodicalId":222363,"journal":{"name":"2015 13th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115480129","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

SDN is a new emerging technology that was being adopted by key players in network technologies all over the world. While the standard networks are frozen up and not able to make any significant change in infrastructure to allow the research, SDN provides a completely new approach to computer networks - primarily the network automation by using the central unit SDN controller for entire network autonomous system. Important for having a fast implementation of proposed innovative services and the widest possible testing options is the virtualized platform on which the solution can be quickly and easily deployed. Due this fact, the one of the critical requirement is provide a virtualization platform within this tool to allow clients to evaluate various platforms by using the SDN. This should all come in an easy-to-use sketch-based graphical user interface allowing even non-expert users to take full advantage of new infrastructure and platform solutions evaluation.","PeriodicalId":222363,"journal":{"name":"2015 13th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"13 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124288051","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First methodology was applied on the sample of fifty students, the latter on the same number of students. Information technology tools were utilized in both methodologies, these represent the configuration exercises and online material available during the exercises. Two categories of these were created, the first were used throughout the term and the second was the final exercise. The principal advantage of our solution is the possibility of utilizing the exercises in the educational process, localization of the exercises in the Slovak language, availability for students and traceability of topics and issues included within the CCNA courses.","PeriodicalId":222363,"journal":{"name":"2015 13th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126126050","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of them is the diameter of pupils. The presented test explore the change of diameter pupils while reading the workflow diagrams from QGIS Processing Modeler. The evaluation describes the change of diameter as a consequence of increasing mental labour while fulfilling the task on workflow diagram. The presented measuring compares the same workflow diagram without task (free-viewing mode) and the same diagram with the task. The result of comparison verifies the hypothesis that diagram with task bring some mental effort and this phase is distinguishable in the graph of pupil diameter from the eye-tracking measurement.","PeriodicalId":222363,"journal":{"name":"2015 13th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116348972","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Even not except the field of education. This availability provides several aspects of perceiving the reality which we face to. We can experience situations where simplicity as a property plays a more important role than efficiency. Application of recursion is a way how to deal with complexity. In this paper we present our approach in educational content identification based on recursion algorithm. We have designed and implemented Lara prototype application to perform certain experiments related to complexity. Implemented a comprehensive decomposition of the downloaded text into words has proved successful. Finally we have evaluated our approach from several aspects.","PeriodicalId":222363,"journal":{"name":"2015 13th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127943181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Considering mainly fresh graduate employees and employees which don't have enough initial knowledge to perform according various internal rules, causes their disorientation in the company processes and thus slower their professional grow to become a profitable employee. This paper compile solutions which have been used effectively in E-learning environment and next generation education practices into a proposal of concept for the newcomer training system for better self-study, employee ability analysis, mentor intervention alerting and many more features which will ease load on mentors and in parallel create better usage of internal knowledge bases and other tools by utilizing machine learning techniques. However majority of current systems focus on user learning behavior model, demands and habits, few of them encompass the problem difficulty and user profile or his abilities, which can be derived directly from his CV or from various forms of skill databases which are used widely by IT companies. This system should create a less stressful environment for a newcomer and thus he can become valuable part of workforce team.","PeriodicalId":222363,"journal":{"name":"2015 13th International Conference on Emerging eLearning Technologies and Applications (ICETA)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114076952","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
