Paula","doi":"10.1590/1984-92302023v30n0019pt","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1590/1984-92302023v30n0019pt","url":null,"abstract":"Resumo A partir da crítica à racionalidade instrumental, baseada em Weber, Habermas e Arendt, busca-se analisar, por meio de entrevistas das lideranças envolvidas na criação do Banco Central do Brasil (BCB), a tensão entre política e técnica na sua formação como burocracia. A pesquisa, de história oral, foi feita com base em entrevistas realizadas pelo CPDOC/FGV, publicadas em 2019, em 25 volumes da “Coleção História Contada do Banco Central do Brasil”, com lideranças que participaram da criação do BCB. Identificou-se, por meio das entrevistas, um discurso de rejeição à política em geral e de aversão às políticas de esquerda em específico, além da sagração da técnica ensejando uma visão tecnocrática do BCB, órgão que é tido como insulado burocraticamente, mas, no qual apenas uma técnica seria possível: a liberal-econômica de matriz neoclássica. Essas duas dimensões se combinam para estabelecer uma posição de sujeição da política à técnica em que até mesmo a democracia pode ser sacrificada para que se aproveitem oportunidades de implantação de uma determinada agenda técnico-econômica. Há indícios, portanto, de uma instrumentalidade da razão nas manifestações das lideranças do BCB, ao oporem técnica versus política, o que pode acarretar um processo de banalização do mal tal qual criticado por Arendt, sobretudo, ao enxergar regimes de exceção no país como meras oportunidades de criação do BCB e de implantação de uma agenda liberal-econômica. Paula","doi":"10.1590/1984-92302023v30n0019en","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1590/1984-92302023v30n0019en","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract Using the critique of instrumental rationality, based on Weber, Habermas and Arendt, we analyze, through interviews of the leaders involved in the creation of the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB), the tension between politics and technique in its formation as a bureaucracy. This oral history research was based on interviews conducted by CPDOC/FGV, published in 2019, in 25 volumes of the \"Told History of the Central Bank of Brazil Collection,\" with leaders who participated in the creation of the BCB. As a result, we identified a discourse of rejection of politics in general and aversion to left-wing policies in particular, in addition to the sacredness of technique, giving rise to a technocratic vision of the BCB, an organization that is seen as bureaucratically insulated, but in which only one technique would be possible: the neoclassical liberal economic view. These two dimensions combine to establish a position of subjection of politics to technique in which even democracy can be sacrificed as an opportunity to implement a certain technical-economic agenda. There are indications, therefore, of an instrumentality of reason in the manifestations analyzed, in pitting technique against politics, which can lead to a process of banalization of evil as criticized by Arendt, especially in seeing regimes of exception in the country as mere opportunities to create the BCB and to implement a liberal-economic agenda. No campo das teorias organizacionais, a despeito das diferentes perspectivas de compreensão da incorporação das IAs na prática acadêmica, destacamos dois desafios em nosso cotidiano acadêmico. O primeiro desafio refere-se ao enfrentamento do colonialismo digital que as IAs nos impõem, considerando que elas se constituem por meio da reprodução de modelos de linguagem programados em países do “Norte global”. O segundo desafio diz respeito aos seus desdobramentos no processo de automatização da escrita acadêmica em administração. Lázaro","doi":"10.1590/1984-92302023v30n0018en","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1590/1984-92302023v30n0018en","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract This research arises from studies of women's management practices from the place of self-management within the scope of the Feminist Solidarity Economy Network (Resf) and, therefore, the term feminist practices of self-management was developed throughout the research, considering the practices that are performed in the Solidarity Economy (ES). The objective of this research is to identify and analyze one of the feminist practices of self-management observed in the field: the development of collective and networked learning. The main theoretical contributions used to mediate the discussion are based on studies of feminist management practices, on the perspective of substantive rationality, on studies on organizational learning and the post-colonialist view that adheres to the context of women in the SE. The data collection was implemented based on thematic oral history in semi-structured interviews with women from Resf and direct and indirect field observation between the years 2018 and 2021, recorded in field diaries. The perspective adopted for data analysis is critical discourse analysis. The results point to the following findings: (I) no hierarchization of the organization of learning practices; (II) intense exchange of information inside and outside the network based on reciprocal ties; (III) a form of learning that prioritizes experiences with a system of activities in which knowing is not separated from doing. Lacruz","doi":"10.1590/1984-92302023v30n0010en","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1590/1984-92302023v30n0010en","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract This study aimed to carry out a bibliometric analysis of the production on International Entrepreneurship IE based on perspectives of the thematic structure of the field using thematic mapping techniques to model the knowledge produced in it. Data from the scientific production on the subject were collected from Scopus and Web of Science databases. Three thematic maps representing the periods of 1995-2004, 2005-2014 and 2015-2022 were yielded in the study. The discussion of results concludes that IE is a research area that has grown significantly since the second period, showing a considerable increase in publications from 127 in the first period to 1,042 in the second. This increase remained constant reaching 1,934 in the third and final period. The themes that stood out the most and were most representative in the field of IE were: performance of companies in IE, innovation, knowledge, entrepreneurial companies, entrepreneurial orientation, management, strategy, model and export behavior. A conceptual variation of the themes was also observed with the performance theme standing out, maintaining a high representativeness in the three periods analyzed with displacements between the basic themes – transversal – and the driving themes. Another highlight was the capabilities theme, which, over time, resulted in the dynamic capabilities theme. As emerging themes, performance, entrepreneurial orientation, entrepreneurship, impact and management appear. Nonetheless, there is a gap regarding how these precarious jobs are integrated into the global movement of private valuation and appropriation of the workforce. Thus, this essay aims to apprehend the movement of capital reproduction whose material base occurs in the digital platform dynamics, demonstrating the different forms of intermediated work engendered in the global accumulation process. Using a historical materialist approach, we analyze the phenomenon of uberization in the expansion movement of the production and circulation of goods, scrutinizing the dynamics of big platform companies regarding their relationship with workers and customers, revealing mediations in the movement of values, which culminates in three forms of labor intermediation: (a) Form 1: as a commodity for individual consumption; (b) Form 2: as part of the work processes of industrial capital; and (c) Form 3: as a moderator of exchange relationships. We conclude by indicating that the three forms of uberized products help us to understand how this commodity production process submits men and women to precarious working conditions and increased exploitation. Para tanto, a partir de perspectivas da estrutura temática do campo, foi utilizada a técnica de mapeamento temático para modelar o conhecimento produzido no campo de estudos de EI. Os dados da produção científica sobre o tema foram coletados a partir de consulta nas bases da Scopus e da Web of Science. Emergiram do estudo três mapas temáticos representando os períodos 1995-2004, 2005- 2014 e 2015-2022. O estudo conclui que o EI é uma área de pesquisa que cresceu bastante a partir do segundo período, apresentando um aumento explosivo nas publicações, passando de 127 no primeiro período para 1.042 no segundo. Esse aumento se manteve constante chegando a 1.934 no terceiro e último período. Os temas que mais se destacam e são mais representativos na pesquisa sobre EI foram: desempenho das empresas no EI, inovação, conhecimento, empresas empreendedoras, orientação empreendedora, gestão, estratégia, modelo e comportamento exportador . Nota-se também uma variação conceitual dos temas, em que se destaca o tema desempenho, mantendo uma alta representatividade nos três períodos e com deslocamentos entre os temas básicos – transversais – e os temas-motor. Outro destaque é o tema capabilities , que, com o tempo, derivou no tema dynamic capabilities . Já como temas emergentes aparecem desempenho, orientação empreendedora, empreendedorismo, impacto e gestão. To this end, we seek to provide clues, hints, and glimpses of other forms of being and coexisting that expand, re-elaborate and tighten the conventional practices of the management universe – whether in terms of their ways of thinking and producing knowledge or their ways of organizing. Through the mapping of the immanent forces operating in the lives of women who gather to dance at the Bailinho da Tia Naná – a popular dance venue targeted at the elderly, located in downtown Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil – we aimed not only to reveal rigid segmentarities but also (and this is where the difference lies) to focus our attention on the appositions, inventions, that which leaks, and escapes, that which resists binary and functionalist organizations, that which escapes the colonization of our vital forces of creation and transcreation in micropolitical relations. Assim, este ensaio objetiva a apreensão do movimento de reprodução do capital cuja base material concretiza-se nas dinâmicas das plataformas digitais, demonstrando as diferentes formas como o trabalho intermediado é engendrado no processo global de acumulação. Com uma abordagem materialista histórica, analisamos o fenômeno da uberização do trabalho no movimento de expansão da produção e circulação de mercadorias, perscrutando a dinâmica das principais empresas-plataformas quanto à sua relação com trabalhadores(as) e clientes, desvelando mediações no movimento do valor, que culmina em três formas de intermediação do trabalho: (a) Forma 1: como mercadoria de meio de consumo individual; (b) Forma 2: com parte dos processos de trabalho de um capital industrial; e (c) Forma 3: como moderador de relações de troca. Concluímos indicando que as três formas dos produtos na uberização nos ajudam a perceber como este processo de produção da mercadoria submete homens e mulheres às condições de trabalho precárias e ao aumento da exploração. {"title":"Dinâmicas da Vida Social Organizada de Homens Gays em Aplicativos de Relacionamento","authors":"Luiz Alex Silva Saraiva","doi":"10.1590/1984-92302023v30n0008pt","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1590/1984-92302023v30n0008pt","url":null,"abstract":"Resumo As formas que a tecnologia tem assumido na contemporaneidade são tão variadas quanto onipresentes, tendo alterado as formas de vida em sociedade – contexto de crescente mediação das relações sociais pela tecnologia, que parece complementar as interações face a face ao estabelecer novas modalidades de existência social. Neste artigo, o objetivo é problematizar as dinâmicas da vida social organizada em aplicativos de relacionamento em torno de quatro eixos básicos: virtualidade, sociabilidade, estereotipagem e violência. O estudo se baseia em uma pesquisa de inspiração indutiva com usuários do Grindr na cidade de Belo Horizonte, Brasil. Os dados sugerem que a virtualidade implica superficialidade e descartabilidade das relações, levando a uma sociabilidade efêmera na qual a estereotipagem é empregada ostensivamente para acelerar a dinâmica ao atribuir preconceitos aos demais usuários. Tais aspectos se concretizam em práticas variadas e sistemáticas de violência, algo comum no contexto do aplicativo estudado. As principais conclusões apontam que a vida social organizada humaniza a análise organizacional, avançando em relação ao conceito de organização ao humanizar o processo e incluir as formas de organizar praticadas pelos grupos sociais, o que inclui situar o pesquisador em um processo no qual ele próprio é implicado, politizando a produção do conhecimento.","PeriodicalId":206469,"journal":{"name":"Organizações & Sociedade","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128125743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
