This movie told about how to keep survive in certain condition, and also several tips and tricks in utilizing the equipment that are found in the environment. In translating the movie, the process, the method and the procedure of translation were applied. The process of translation that was used namely analyzing, drafting, revising and finalizing. Moreover, adaptation method was used in translating the subtitle of this movie. Then, the procedures that were applied are transference, through-translation, cultural equivalent, functional equivalent, shift or transposition, compensation, modulation, reduction and expansion, and synonymy. The aims of making the English Subtitle for the profile movie is to influence the foreigners to visit Padang Pariaman as the tourism destination and to make this place well known worldwide. The profile movie tells the hidden potential sectors of Padang Pariaman, including tourism spots, farm, plantations, marine resources, hospitality, culture and customs. There are three stages conducted in the process of making the English subtitle. The stages are transcription, translation, and subtitling. The transcript of the profile movie consist of 1200 words with 14 minutes, 36 seconds in duration. The translation process, methods, and procedures are applied. There are several procedures used in the translation stage such as transference, descriptive equivalent, modulation, transposition, and recognized translation Then, the English subtitle is created by using Aegisub application. So the result of this project is a new profile of Padang Pariaman Regency with the English subtitle. Many reasons make the number of abanded children  still high. Although, the news about abandoned children have been posted in  newspaper,  magazine even online and   social media,  but  seen that they just inform in partially. Therefore the researchers conducted a project on presenting the data on the picture of abanded children in padang in form of radio feature.  It is expected that this radio feature can give useful information about the reason why they “work on the street”, the life that they run  everyday. Hence it is hope that it can touch the human care of people and government to find the best solution for them. The data  was gotten from the result of interview by using recorder tools. Then Cool Edit Pro 2.1 application was  used to  edit and mix the voice . Moreover this project applied the stages of making radio feature likes pre-production, production and post-production. The television show is broadcasted by television channel which committed to show humanistic program which has the value of grateful, dutiful to parents as obligation, empathy for others without discrimination and caring character to environment. This research subject are loyal viewers of private television in Indonesia. The research method used is a case study where the researcher become the main instrument in conducting this research. The other instruments are field notes, observation result, documentation, and in-depth interviews. It is one of important information that needs to be shared to listeners as source of sharing information. There are a lot of old mosques still exist nowadays in West Sumatera but Badano Grand Mosque still has some interesting and uniques stories that make people in Pariaman are very proud of it. The radio feature of History behind Badano Grand Mosque will be able to attract a lot of tourists to visit this place. There are three procedures in making this project are conducted: Pre-production, Production, and Post-production. The main point of this project is production process. In production stage, there are some steps that were done such as doing interview with informants, choosing the insert, writing the script and recording the voice. This final project is entitled Translating “Muhammad Al-Fatih: Perang Varna” Comic by Handri Satria from Bahasa Indonesia into English which this final project is one of the requirements for the students of English Department in State Polytechnic of Padang in order to finish their study. This final project is aimed to add the reference of translating a comic. This final report gave the discussion of processes or steps that have to be passed so that the result of translation can be understood easily by the readers. By making this final project, it is quite helpful in applying and comprehending the theories of translation that had been learned. In addition, it attributes credit to someone other than the speaker; usually the person addressed, for some “good” (possession, characteristic, skill, etc.) which is positively valued by the speaker and the hearer. Furthermore, the act of responding it is an interlocutor’s acceptance (“Thanks, Thank you”) and non-acceptance (“it is really quite old”) of the compliments. In conjunction with English teaching and learning process, the attempt to compliment and respond it can be used as a strategy to help the EFL learners able to open a conversation or a short talk with their classmates. The EFL lecturers/teachers will bridge the learners to strike up their conversations/short talks by providing some conversations/short talks’ situations. A translator, however, will find some problems during translation process. Equivalence is the case which often appears (i.e. culture specific concept, the source-language concept is not lexicalized in the target language, source-language word is semantically complex, etc). To cope with equivalnce problems in translation process, some experts suggest some strategies which can be applied in doing translation. Some strategies are transference, naturalization, cultural equivalent, etc. The strategies which often appears in the example texts in this paper are transference, naturalization, descriptive equivalent, couplet and  through-translation.
