The combination of the authors' results with simulated life data modeling done by J.M. Schoen (1980) indicates the same trend. It is believed that the lognormal distribution, which has been extensively used in electromigration studies, may be an inaccurate model of the phenomenon.<<ETX>>","PeriodicalId":193917,"journal":{"name":"[1991 Proceedings] 6th Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference","volume":"1629 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1991-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122701111","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is shown that an appropriate choice of a primitive polynomial can improve the realistic fault coverage, obtained with pseudorandom test patterns or, conversely, can lead to reduced test lengths, for the same fault coverage. A general model for AGC circuits is presented, and an equivalent linear system is proposed. Its behavior is compared with the dynamical response of two implemented AGC circuits. The results of classic and state variable correctors based on the model are presented. These results show the usefulness of this linear model in the design of the AGC dynamic response. By using a linear and t-variant system the dynamical behavior is improved. This approach is used to design hyperstability and Lyapunov-based correctors.<<ETX>>","PeriodicalId":193917,"journal":{"name":"[1991 Proceedings] 6th Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1991-05-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121243679","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
