The proposed method ensures bat detection via Optical Flow and Otsu's Tresholding, thereafter using the Kalman filtered result to train data-sets that can be matched via the cross-correlation function. The bat detection and tracking methods work well, with average positional error rate of approximately 5% with tested footage. The bat tracking method results in valuable positional information that is lacking effective implementation in most current image processing methods.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129205626","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The presence of this dead time term makes the transfer function model irrational. Here, a simple rule base has been implemented on the Xilinx SPARTAN 3AN FPGA development board to bolster the feasibility and superiority of the neuro-fuzzy system (NFS) over fuzzy system (FS). Finally, the neuro-fuzzy controller has been realized to govern a classic control system problem of reference tracking like speed control of a separately excited dc motor using armature voltage control topology. Simulation results along with emulation testing have together concreted the effectiveness and superiority of such hybrid controller in real time applications.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127737853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using dedicated circuit for matrix multiplication can reduce the computational time and energy consumption. Traditional matrix multipliers always adopt linear array architecture, which works inefficiently when the size of matrix sub-block is much smaller than the array length. Using short array structure can improve the computational efficiency at the cost of occupying more memory bandwidth. In this paper, we present a workload sensitive dynamic scaling matrix multiplier structure, which can dynamically adjust the array length according to the matrix size. We build a prototype system on a Xilinx Zynq XC7Z045 FPGA. The result shows that compared with a fixed array architecture our design achieves much better performance and needs less memory bandwidth.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133159028","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To increase the management efficiency of these stripper wells as well as lowering the management's cost, we have installed the wisdom-oilfield components that uses innovative technologies such as wireless networks, well sensors to collect and send the operating data to the central point to handle. But there are still problems to the current management modes of our rod pumping wells in two aspects. One is for pumping wells installed with the wisdom-oilfield components, in the daily operation and maintenance at the well-site, people can't get access to the central server and query the status or make the data analysis, leading to the pumping wells' maintenance difficult and the efficiency low. The other is for non-network coverage pumping wells in remote area that we can't make the digital management and control. Where the rod pumping system's running can only rely on experienced artificially adjustments, which lacks reasonable and theoretical basis. This paper aims at presenting our recent attempts adhere to these two challenges. On the basis of Android platform, we developed a dynamometer card measurement and analysis system comprising the mobile query and analysis system as well as a well-site data acquisition and analysis system. They unveiled the design of the intelligent security systems capable of solving problems in the well-site. At the moment, with the two systems, we not only made the mobile phone a terminal that can connect the server for processing results of the central working site in security, but also made the mobile phone a data collecting and analysis terminal at the well-site. The two systems had took a wide range of well-site application tests in the first exploit factory of the Huabei oilfield company, which dramatically lowered the labors' intensity, improved their working efficiency and reduced the rod pumping wells' management costs by up to 30%. The calculated production results showed the average relative error is only 5.1%, less than 10% of industry's standard, which meets the requirements of industrial applications.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133384555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among the recent developments, adhoc network has emerged as new mode of data communication. The objective of link reliability is a major concern in such network. In this paper, a new approach to route discovery based on network power and operational characteristic is proposed. The approach suggested, results in route discovery and communication process, providing reliability improvement in adhoc network. The IoT has a variety of application domains, including health care as one of its chief research area. Our project eliminates the traditional system of preserving patient's medical health literature by introducing a portable web server which stores and synchronizes all kinds of patient information (reports, findings, scans, prescriptions, medical history, etc.) thereby making the system go paperless and hassle free. A weighted slope one algorithm based on cluster filling and time weight (WSOBCFT) was proposed in this paper. To reduce the time of generating the nearest neighbor, the rating matrix of time weight was clustered by Canopy-K-means algorithm at first. Then every class was filled to improve the density of the matrix and reduce data sparsity. Finally, considering the similarity weight and time weight, item's rating was predicted in the set of nearest neighbor.
