This leads to increase in the cost of deployment, configuration and maintenance. Hence, the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operational Expenditure (OPEX) of the organization providing the cloud network increases. Network Function Virtualization (NFV) is a technology which virtualizes network functionalities. This paper studies the influence of NFV on CAPEX and OPEX of cloud based networks and compares it with traditional implementation (without NFV) of such networks. A prototype cloud networkbased on NFV implementation is developed and implemented. Based on the test cases developed on the prototype, CAPEX and OPEX of the resources used for both NFV based and traditional implementations are studied and analyzed. RESTful web services are created for the users of the cloud network to orchestrate and manage the network on the cloud. The results accomplished show that NFV based implementation reduces the CAPEX and OPEX, when compared with the traditional implementation. It is also observed that orchestration mechanism reduces complexity of management of cloud network.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124801582","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The control value is given by the internal model controller and system estimation model. By changing the parameter of feedback filter, the overshoot in the tracking process can be suppressed. If the navigation system can be directed the path with short time or short distance, the vehicle can be saved the fuel. According to the navigation system, it is the optimization problem with 2 objectives, minimization of the time and the distance. Tabu search algorithm (TS) is used for this work. It can obtain a good performance if there exist enough training samples. However, the number of face images of a subject is usually limited in real face recognition systems. In this paper, in order to obtain more representations of a face, we propose a novel method that applies the singular value decomposition (SVD) to produce virtual images of original images. Furthermore, we integrate the virtual samples and its original samples, which allows more information of the same class object to be available, so better performance can be achieved. Experiments on the most widely used and challenging benchmark datasets demonstrate that our method can obtain better accuracy and robustness in comparison with previous methods.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125347377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This application has greater operation flexibility than its predecessors because of its two modes - Function mode (which allows users to access the individual functions in any stage of the control design process) and GUI mode (a wizard-based approach utilizing the functions from the Function mode). The application can support more input model types than its predecessors as it is capable of supporting LTI systems that either contain or do not contain time delays. It also provides support in the areas of model creation, conversion, approximation and analysis, input-output pairing, decoupling, controller design, and evaluation, while adding techniques that are not found in other toolboxes such as SVD analysis and decoupling. In addition, it allows the user to save or export the final control design or compare with saved designs so that the users might select the design that best satisfies their needs.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121640998","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These nodes are battery powered due to which energy of a node plays a vital role. The amount of the energy used up by any node while the data is transmitted, it needs to be optimized so that the less amount of energy is consumed. The efficiency of the WSN depends on the numerous performance parameter of the network. A lifetime of network and energy consumption is the most important parameters in the design of a WSN. Various routing protocols have been designed to find the route in the network. Various energy efficient protocols have such as LEACH, DEEC, etc. were proposed, later on with Bio-inspired optimization like ACO, GA, PSO, etc. were used for finding the route in the network to increase the efficiency of the wireless sensor network but still there was need to design the algorithms that are more efficient than these in terms of energy consumption and network life, so in this paper an advancement in the PSO algorithm is proposed. The problem of the traditionally using PSO is resolved and by making some modification and proposing the modified moderate random particle swarm optimization. From the experiment perform it is concluded that this introduced approach is much efficient than the traditional PSO.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"1996 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125563252","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
