The selection method, presented in this paper, analyzes the work condition and requirements of the accumulator in HCU including: oil consumption when braking and releasing and working pressure when braking. Hydraulic unit was built and verified by AMESim. Pressure change when braking and releasing was emulated by using different size of accumulator models. According to the simulation results, the ideal size of accumulator was selected and the volume was verified.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125117075","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By using property of Intermediate Band Gap of Quantum Dot efficiency of solar cells can also be increased. Along with it, it's found that absorption of Quantum Dot Depends on the angle by which light falls on them and in most of the cases its maximum when light falls perpendicularly on the Quantum Dot except the Quantum Dot of GaN-InN-GaN layers. Main advantage found to use Quantum Dot is that along with visible and Infrared region of light they also absorb rays of ultraviolet region which was one of the issue with Silicon based solar cell (along with their poor efficiency).","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127236374","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It provides own services to online on-demand and pay-as-you-go basis. In cloud computing environment load balancing is a key issue which is required to distributing the dynamic workload over multiple machines to make certain that no single machine is overloaded. In order it helps in ideal use of resource and as a consequence enhancing the performance of the system, we need an efficient task scheduling algorithm. The Min-Min algorithm is simple that produce a schedule that minimize the makespan but this algorithm does not make use of resource effectively. In this paper, we proposed an Improved Load Balanced Min-Min (ILBMM) algorithm using genetic algorithm (GA) in order to minimize the makespan and increase the utilization of resource. The implementation of proposed algorithm has been completed using CloudSim simulator and simulation outcomes demonstration that the proposed algorithm outperforms to current algorithm on same objectives.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126652692","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The detection of common distortion metrics, like block effects, blurring and noise is the basis of WETA algorithm. The wavelet energy difference is used as macroscopic statistical feature to compensate for the limitation of basic distortion detection, which is obtained by natural lossless images energy model. To cover the masking effect of local background and brightness to distortion performance in human eye, this paper utilizes the derivative features of gray level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM) to represent texture feature and image complexity. Finally, the objective quality assessment method is given by fusing distortion performance, wavelet energy difference and texture information into BP neural network for studying. Experiments show that WETA is high consistent to subjective QA scores without referring to original image, and less time-consuming.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117125492","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The information thus collected could be beneficial to the entire academia: it can be utilized by students in making informed decisions about which college to join or by institutes themselves to address their potentially weak points and maintain the standards of their positive features. Apart from performing extensive preprocessing including spelling correction and netspeak expansion, irrelevant tweets were further segregated by means of a unigram dictionary containing education-oriented keywords. The Apriori algorithm was then applied to the dataset thus obtained resulting in characteristic markers or patterns of these institutes.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123006463","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many universities and colleges are providing online courses through internet. Online examinations with multiple-choice questions are being increasingly used in education system mostly in entrance examinations and competitive examinations. Advantage of online examination is automation in evaluation process and thereby removing the personal bias towards the students. For this purpose, academic institutions are using Learning Management Systems extensively. Moodle, the open-source learning management system is mostly preferred. It is another option to proprietary online learning solutions. In fact, student’s performance cannot be evaluated and assessed only by right and wrong answers in online examination. In proposed experiment an attempt is made to make the examination assessment intelligent. Data mining which is very popularly used in various domains including business but less explored in academic domain. It can be effectively used to mine data generated from e-learning systems. This paper explores the use of data mining algorithm with soft computing technique in question categorization. Proposed work decides the level of difficulty of questions. To categories the questions into different categories like as easy, moderate and tough, fuzzy c-means clustering is used. Along with this, performance of students attempting easy, moderate and tough questions is assessed.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126296037","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It consists of one six axis motion processing unit, five customized optical bend sensors and three contact sensors which are used to send a stream of digital sensory data to AVR-328 based Central Processing Unit (CPU). CPU uses Kalman filter to stabilize real time pitch, roll values and uses K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm to find nearest neighbors for incoming sensory stream. When input data stream successfully satisfies specific set of neighbors, then output is produced in terms of text and speech using PWM based Text to Speech (TTS) algorithm. Serial port of the CPU is used to wirelessly send this output to various secondary computation devices for displaying multimedia outputs, whereas messages from these secondary devices are received over the same protocol, which are directly displayed on LCD of glove. Further, this architecture is programmed to create, or customize the database and final outputs.","PeriodicalId":189849,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Communication Networks (CICN)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132024685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
